Psalmaro 82

1Dio stariĝis en Dia anaro; Inter la dioj Li juĝas. 2Ĝis kiam vi juĝos maljuste, Kaj privilegios la personojn de malvirtuloj? Sela. 3Estu justaj al malriĉulo kaj orfo; Rilate afliktiton kaj senhavulon estu virtaj. 4Liberigu malriĉulon kaj mizerulon; El la mano de malvirtulo ilin savu. 5Ili ne scias kaj ne komprenas, En mallumo ili marŝas; Ekŝanceliĝis ĉiuj fundamentoj de la tero. 6Mi diris: Vi estas dioj, Kaj ĉiuj vi estas filoj de la Plejaltulo; 7Sed vi mortos, kiel homoj, Kaj vi falos, kiel ĉiu el la potenculoj. 8Leviĝu, ho Dio, juĝu la teron; Ĉar Vi heredas ĉiujn popolojn.

1God presides in the great assembly. He judges among the gods. 2“How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah. 3“Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. 4Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.” 5They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken. 6I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High. 7Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.” 8Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.

1Een psalm van Asaf. God staat in de vergadering Godes; Hij oordeelt in het midden der goden; 2Hoe lang zult gijlieden onrecht oordelen, en het aangezicht der goddelozen aannemen? Sela. 3Doet recht den arme en den wees; rechtvaardigt den verdrukte en den arme. 4Verlost den arme en den behoeftige, rukt hem uit der goddelozen hand. 5Zij weten niet, en verstaan niet; zij wandelen steeds in duisternis; dies wankelen alle fondamenten der aarde. 6Ik heb wel gezegd: Gij zijt goden; en gij zijt allen kinderen des Allerhoogsten; 7Nochtans zult gij sterven als een mens; en als een van de vorsten zult gij vallen. 8Sta op, o God! oordeel het aardrijk, want Gij bezit alle natien.
