Psalmaro 5

1Miajn vortojn aŭskultu, ho Eternulo. Trapenetru miajn pensojn. 2Aŭdu la voĉon de mia krio, mia Reĝo kaj mia Dio; Ĉar al Vi mi preĝas. 3Ho Eternulo, matene Vi aŭdas mian voĉon; Matene mi eldiras mian preĝon al Vi, kaj mi atendas. 4Ĉar Vi ne estas tia Dio, kiu amas malpiaĵon; Malbonulo ne povas gasti ĉe Vi. 5Fanfaronuloj ne staros antaŭ Vi; Vi malamas ĉiujn, kiuj faras malbonon. 6Vi pereigas tiujn, kiuj parolas malveron; Sangavidan kaj malican la Eternulo abomenas. 7Kaj mi, pro Via granda favoro, eniros en Vian domon; Mi kliniĝos en Via sankta templo kun respektego al Vi. 8Ho Eternulo, gvidu min laŭ Via justeco; Pro miaj insidantoj ebenigu antaŭ mi Vian vojon. 9Ĉar ne ekzistas vero en ilia buŝo; En ilia interno estas malvirteco; Malfermita tombo estas ilia gorĝo; Per sia lango ili hipokritas. 10Montru ilian kulpon, ho Dio, Ke ili falu per siaj intencoj; Pro iliaj multaj krimoj ĵetu ilin malsupren, Ĉar ili ribelis kontraŭ Vi. 11Kaj ekĝojos ĉiuj, kiuj fidas Vin; Ili eterne estos gajaj, kaj Vi ilin favoros; Kaj triumfos pri Vi tiuj, kiuj amas Vian nomon. 12Ĉar Vi, ho Eternulo, benas piulon; Kiel per ŝildo Vi ĉirkaŭdefendas lin per favoro.

1Give ear to my words, Yahweh. Consider my meditation. 2Listen to the voice of my cry, my King and my God; for to you do I pray. 3Yahweh, in the morning you shall hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly. 4For you are not a God who has pleasure in wickedness. Evil can’t live with you. 5The arrogant shall not stand in your sight. You hate all workers of iniquity. 6You will destroy those who speak lies. Yahweh abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. 7But as for me, in the abundance of your loving kindness I will come into your house. I will bow toward your holy temple in reverence of you. 8Lead me, Yahweh, in your righteousness because of my enemies. Make your way straight before my face. 9For there is no faithfulness in their mouth. Their heart is destruction. Their throat is an open tomb. They flatter with their tongue. 10Hold them guilty, God. Let them fall by their own counsels; Thrust them out in the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against you. 11But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice, Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you. 12For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield.

1Een psalm van David, voor den opperzangmeester, op de Nechiloth. 2O HEERE, neem mijn redenen ter ore; versta mijn overdenking. 3Merk op de stem mijns geroeps, o mijn Koning en mijn God! Want tot U zal ik bidden. 4Des morgens, HEERE, zult Gij mijn stem horen; des morgens zal ik mij tot U schikken, en wacht houden. 5Want Gij zijt geen God, Die lust heeft aan goddeloosheid; de boze zal bij U niet verkeren. 6De onzinnigen zullen voor Uw ogen niet bestaan; Gij haat alle werkers der ongerechtigheid. 7Gij zult de leugensprekers verdoen; van den man des bloeds en des bedrogs heeft de HEERE een gruwel. 8Maar ik zal door de grootheid Uwer goedertierenheid in Uw huis ingaan; ik zal mij buigen naar het paleis Uwer heiligheid, in Uw vreze. 9HEERE! Leid mij in Uw gerechtigheid, om mijner verspieders wil; richt Uw weg voor mijn aangezicht. 10Want in hun mond is niets rechts, hun binnenste is enkel verderving, hun keel is een open graf, met hun tong vleien zij. 11Verklaar hen schuldig, o God; laat hen vervallen van hun raadslagen; drijf hen henen om de veelheid hunner overtredingen, want zij zijn wederspannig tegen U. 12Maar laat verblijd zijn allen, die op U betrouwen, tot in eeuwigheid; laat hen juichen, omdat Gij hen overdekt; en laat in U van vreugde opspringen, die Uw Naam liefhebben. Want Gij, HEERE, zult den rechtvaardige zegenen; Gij zult hem met goedgunstigheid kronen, als met een rondas.
