Psalmy 46

1Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi z synów Korego, na Alamot pieśń. Bóg jest ucieczką i siłą naszą, ratunkiem we wszelkim ucisku najpewniejszym. 2Przetoż się bać nie będziemy, choćby się poruszyła ziemia, choćby się przeniosły góry w pośród morza; 3Choćby zaszumiały, a wzburzyły się wody jego, i zatrzęsły się góry od nawałności jego. Sela. 4Strumienie rzeki jego rozweselają miasto Boże, najświętsze z przybytków najwyższego. 5Bóg jest w pośrodku jego, nie będzie poruszone;poratuje go Bóg zaraz z poranku. 6Gdy się wzburzyły narody, a zatrząsnęły się królestwa, Pan wydał głos swój, i rozpłynęła się ziemia. 7Pan zastępów jest z nami; twierdzą wysoką jest nam Bóg Jakóbowy. Sela. 8Pójdźcie, oglądajcie sprawy Pańskie, jakie uczynił spustoszenie na ziemi; 9Który uśmierza wojny aż do kończyn ziemi, łuk kruszy, i oręże łamie, a wozy ogniem pali. 10Mówiąc: Uspokójcie się, a wiedzcie, żem Ja Bóg; będę wywyższony między narodami, będę wywyższony na ziemi. 11Pan zastępów z nami; twierdzą wysoką jest nam Bóg Jakóbowy. 1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; 3though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling. Selah. 4There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High. 5God is in her midst. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn. 6The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice, and the earth melted. 7Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8Come, see Yahweh’s works, what desolations he has made in the earth. 9He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire. 10“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.” 11Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

God is ons een Toevlucht en Sterkte; Hij is krachtelijk bevonden een Hulp in benauwdheden. 2Daarom zullen wij niet vrezen, al veranderde de aarde haar plaats, en al werden de bergen verzet in het hart der zeeen; 3Laat haar wateren bruisen, laat ze beroerd worden; laat de bergen daveren, door derzelver verheffing! Sela. 4De beekjes der rivier zullen verblijden de stad Gods, het heiligdom der woningen des Allerhoogsten. 5God is in het midden van haar, zij zal niet wankelen; God zal haar helpen in het aanbreken van den morgenstond. 6De heidenen raasden, de koninkrijken bewogen zich; Hij verhief Zijn stem, de aarde versmolt. 7De HEERE der heirscharen is met ons; de God van Jakob is ons een Hoog Vertrek. Sela. 8Komt, aanschouwt de daden des HEEREN, Die verwoestingen op aarde aanricht. 9Die de oorlogen doet ophouden tot aan het einde der aarde, de boog verbreekt, en de spies aan twee slaat, de wagenen met vuur verbrandt. 10Laat af, en weet, dat Ik God ben; Ik zal verhoogd worden onder de heidenen, Ik zal verhoogd worden op de aarde. 11De HEERE der heirscharen is met ons; de God van Jakob is ons een Hoog Vertrek.
