Psalmy 82

1Psalm Asafowy. Bóg stoi w zgromadzeniu Bożem, a w pośród bogów sądzi i mówi: 2Dokądże będziecie niesprawiedliwie sądzić, a osoby niezbożników przyjmować? Sela. 3Czyńcie sprawiedliwość ubogiemu i sierotce;utrapionego i niedostatecznego usprawiedliwiajcie. 4Wyrwijcie chudzinę i nędznego, a z ręki niepobożnej wyrwijcie go. 5Lecz oni nic nie wiedzą, ani rozumieją; w ciemnościach ustawicznie chodzą; zaczem się zachwiały wszystkie grunty ziemi. 6Jam rzekł: Bogowieście, a synami Najwyższego wy wszyscy jesteście. 7A wszakże jako i inni ludzie pomrzecie, a jako jeden z książąt upadniecie. 8Powstańże, o Boże! a sądź ziemię; albowiem ty dziedzicznie trzymasz wszystkie narody.

1God presides in the great assembly. He judges among the gods. 2“How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah. 3“Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. 4Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.” 5They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken. 6I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High. 7Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.” 8Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.

1Een psalm van Asaf. God staat in de vergadering Godes; Hij oordeelt in het midden der goden; 2Hoe lang zult gijlieden onrecht oordelen, en het aangezicht der goddelozen aannemen? Sela. 3Doet recht den arme en den wees; rechtvaardigt den verdrukte en den arme. 4Verlost den arme en den behoeftige, rukt hem uit der goddelozen hand. 5Zij weten niet, en verstaan niet; zij wandelen steeds in duisternis; dies wankelen alle fondamenten der aarde. 6Ik heb wel gezegd: Gij zijt goden; en gij zijt allen kinderen des Allerhoogsten; 7Nochtans zult gij sterven als een mens; en als een van de vorsten zult gij vallen. 8Sta op, o God! oordeel het aardrijk, want Gij bezit alle natien.
