Salmi 130

1Canto dei pellegrinaggi. O Eterno, io grido a te da luoghi profondi! 2Signore, ascolta il mio grido; siano le tue orecchie attente alla voce delle mie supplicazioni! 3O Eterno, se tu poni mente alle iniquità, Signore, chi potrà reggere? 4Ma presso te v’è perdono affinché tu sia temuto. 5Io aspetto l’Eterno, l’anima mia l’aspetta, ed io spero nella sua parola. 6L’anima mia anela al Signore più che le guardie non anelino al mattino, più che le guardie al mattino. 7O Israele, spera nell’Eterno, poiché presso l’Eterno è benignità e presso di lui è abbondanza di redenzione. 8Ed egli redimerà Israele da tutte le sue iniquità.

1Out of the depths I have cried to you, Yahweh. 2Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions. 3If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? 4But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared. 5I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word. 6My soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning; more than watchmen for the morning. 7Israel, hope in Yahweh, for with Yahweh there is loving kindness. With him is abundant redemption. 8He will redeem Israel from all their sins.

Uit de diepten roep ik tot U, o HEERE! 2HEERE! hoor naar mijn stem; laat Uw oren opmerkende zijn op de stem mijner smekingen. 3Zo Gij, HEERE! de ongerechtigheden gadeslaat; HEERE! wie zal bestaan? 4Maar bij U is vergeving, opdat Gij gevreesd wordt. 5Ik verwacht den HEERE; mijn ziel verwacht, en ik hoop op Zijn Woord. 6Mijn ziel wacht op den HEERE, meer dan de wachters op den morgen; de wachters op den morgen. 7Israel hope op den HEERE; want bij den HEERE is goedertierenheid, en bij Hem is veel verlossing. 8En Hij zal Israel verlossen van al zijn ongerechtigheden.
