Salmi 103

1Di Davide. Benedici, anima mia, l’Eterno; e tutto quello ch’è in me, benedica il nome suo santo. 2Benedici, anima mia l’Eterno, e non dimenticare alcuno de’ suoi benefici. 3Egli è quel che ti perdona tutte le tue iniquità, che sana tutte le tue infermità, 4che redime la tua vita dalla fossa, che ti corona di benignità e di compassioni, 5che sazia di beni la tua bocca, che ti fa ringiovanire come l’aquila. 6L’Eterno fa giustizia e ragione a tutti quelli che sono oppressi. 7Egli fece conoscere a Mosè le sue vie e ai figliuoli d’Israele le sue opere. 8L’Eterno è pietoso e clemente, lento all’ira e di gran benignità. 9Egli non contende in eterno, né serba l’ira sua in perpetuo. 10Egli non ci ha trattati secondo i nostri peccati, né ci ha retribuiti secondo le nostre iniquità. 11Poiché quanto i cieli sono alti al disopra della terra, tanto è grande la sua benignità verso quelli che lo temono. 12Quanto è lontano il levante dal ponente, tanto ha egli allontanato da noi le nostre trasgressioni. 13Come un padre è pietoso verso i suoi figliuoli, così è pietoso l’Eterno verso quelli che lo temono. 14Poiché egli conosce la nostra natura; egli si ricorda che siam polvere. 15I giorni dell’uomo son come l’erba; egli fiorisce come il fiore del campo; 16se un vento gli passa sopra ei non è più, e il luogo dov’era non lo riconosce più. 17Ma la benignità dell’Eterno dura ab eterno e in eterno, sopra quelli che lo temono, e la sua giustizia sopra i figliuoli de’ figliuoli 18di quelli che osservano il suo patto, e si ricordano de’ suoi comandamenti per metterli in opra. 19L’Eterno ha stabilito il suo trono ne’ cieli, e il suo regno signoreggia su tutto. 20Benedite l’Eterno, voi suoi angeli, potenti e forti, che fate ciò ch’egli dice, ubbidendo alla voce della sua parola! 21Benedite l’Eterno, voi tutti gli eserciti suoi, che siete suoi ministri, e fate ciò che gli piace! 22Benedite l’Eterno, voi tutte le opere sue, in tutti i luoghi della sua signoria! Anima mia, benedici l’Eterno!

1Praise Yahweh, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name! 2Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; 3who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; 4who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies; 5who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. 6Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed. 7He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the children of Israel. 8Yahweh is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness. 9He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever. 10He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities. 11For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him. 12As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. 13Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. 14For he knows how we are made. He remembers that we are dust. 15As for man, his days are like grass. As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. 16For the wind passes over it, and it is gone. Its place remembers it no more. 17But Yahweh’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children; 18to those who keep his covenant, to those who remember to obey his precepts. 19Yahweh has established his throne in the heavens. His kingdom rules over all. 20Praise Yahweh, you angels of his, who are mighty in strength, who fulfill his word, obeying the voice of his word. 21Praise Yahweh, all you armies of his, you servants of his, who do his pleasure. 22Praise Yahweh, all you works of his, in all places of his dominion. 1Een psalm van David. Loof den HEERE, mijn ziel, en al wat binnen in mij is, Zijn heiligen Naam. 2Loof den HEERE, mijn ziel, en vergeet geen van Zijn weldaden; 3Die al uw ongerechtigheid vergeeft, die al uw krankheden geneest; 4Die uw leven verlost van het verderf, die u kroont met goedertierenheid en barmhartigheden; 5Die uw mond verzadigt met het goede, uw jeugd vernieuwt als eens arends. 6De HEERE doet gerechtigheid en gerichten al dengenen, die onderdrukt worden. 7Hij heeft Mozes Zijn wegen bekend gemaakt, den kinderen Israels Zijn daden. 8Barmhartig en genadig is de HEERE, lankmoedig en groot van goedertierenheid. 9Hij zal niet altoos twisten, noch eeuwiglijk den toorn behouden. 10Hij doet ons niet naar onze zonden, en vergeldt ons niet naar onze ongerechtigheden. 11Want zo hoog de hemel is boven de aarde, is Zijn goedertierenheid geweldig over degenen, die Hem vrezen. 12Zo ver het oosten is van het westen, zo ver doet Hij onze overtredingen van ons. 13Gelijk zich een vader ontfermt over de kinderen, ontfermt Zich de HEERE over degenen, die Hem vrezen. 14Want Hij weet, wat maaksel wij zijn, gedachtig zijnde, dat wij stof zijn. 15De dagen des mensen zijn als het gras, gelijk een bloem des velds, alzo bloeit hij. 16Als de wind daarover gegaan is, zo is zij niet meer, en haar plaats kent haar niet meer. 17Maar de goedertierenheid des HEEREN is van eeuwigheid en tot eeuwigheid over degenen, die Hem vrezen, en Zijn gerechtigheid aan kindskinderen; 18Aan degenen, die Zijn verbond houden, en die aan Zijn bevelen denken, om die te doen. 19De HEERE heeft Zijn troon in de hemelen bevestigd, en Zijn Koninkrijk heerst over alles. 20Looft den HEERE, Zijn engelen! gij krachtige helden, die Zijn woord doet, gehoorzamende de stem Zijns woords. 21Looft den HEERE, al Zijn heirscharen! gij Zijn dienaars, die Zijn welbehagen doet! 22Looft den HEERE, al Zijn werken! aan alle plaatsen Zijner heerschappij. Loof den HEERE, mijn ziel!
