1Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân, Nơi cư trú Ngài đáng thương thay! 2Linh hồn tôi mong ước đến đỗi hao mòn về hành lang của Ðức Giê-hô-va; Lòng và thịt tôi kêu la về Ðức Chúa Trời hằng sống. 3Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân, là Vua tôi và là Ðức Chúa Trời tôi, Con chim sẻ đã tìm được một nơi ở, Và chim én tìm được một ồ đặng đẻ con nó, Tức là bàn thờ của Chúa. 4Phước cho người nào ở trong nhà Chúa! Họ sẽ ngợi khen Chúa không ngớt. 5Phước cho người nào được sức lực trong Chúa, Và có lòng hướng về đường dẫn đến Si-ôn! 6Ðương khi đi qua trũng khóc lóc. Họ làm trũng ấy trở nên nơi có mạch; Mưa sớm cũng phủ phước cho nó. 7Họ đi tới, sức lực lần lần thêm; Ai nấy đều ra mắt Ðức Chúa Trời tại Si-ôn. 8Hỡi Giê-hô-va, Ðức Chúa Trời vạn quân, xin hãy nghe lời cầu nguyện tôi; Ðức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp ơi, xin hãy lắng tai nghe. 9Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, là cái khiên của chúng tôi, hãy xem xét, Ðoái đến mặt của đấng chịu xức dầu của Chúa. 10Vì một ngày trong hành lang Chúa đáng hơn một ngàn ngày khác. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. 3Yes, the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young, near your altars, Yahweh of Armies, my King, and my God. 4Blessed are those who dwell in your house.
