Thi-thiên 46

1Ðức Chúa Trời là nơi nương náu và sức lực của chúng tôi, Ngài sẵn giúp đỡ trong cơn gian truân. 2Vì vậy, chúng tôi chẳng sợ dầu đất bị biến cải, Núi lay động và bị quăng vào lòng biển; 3Dầu nước biển ầm ầm sôi bọt, Và các núi rúng động vì cớ sự chuyển dậy của nó. 4Có một ngọn sông, dòng nước nó làm vui thành Ðức Chúa Trời, Là nơi thánh về chỗ ở của Ðấng Chí cao. 5Ðức Chúa Trời ở giữa thành ấy; thành ấy sẽ không bị rúng động. Vừa rạng đông Ðức Chúa Trời sẽ giúp đỡ nó. 6Các dân náo loạn, các nước rúng động; Ðức Chúa Trời phát tiếng, đất bèn tan chảy. 7Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân ở cùng chúng tôi; Ðức Chúa Trời Gia-cốp là nơi nương náu của chúng tôi. 8Hãy đến nhìn xem các công việc của Ðức Giê-hô-va, Sự phá tan Ngài đã làm trên đất là dường nào! 9Ngài dẹp yên giặc cho đến đầu cùng trái đất, Bẻ gảy các cung, chặt các giáo ra từng miếng, Và đốt xe nơi lửa. 10Hãy yên lặng và biết rằng ta là Ðức Chúa Trời; Ta sẽ được tôn cao trong các nước, cũng sẽ được tôn cao trên đất. 11Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân ở cùng chúng tôi; Ðức Chúa Trời Gia-cốp, là nơi nương náu của chúng tôi.

1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; 3though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling. Selah. 4There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High. 5God is in her midst. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn. 6The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice, and the earth melted. 7Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8Come, see Yahweh’s works, what desolations he has made in the earth. 9He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire. 10“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.” 11Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

1Een lied op Alamoth, voor den opperzangmeester, onder de kinderen van Korach. 2God is ons een Toevlucht en Sterkte; Hij is krachtelijk bevonden een Hulp in benauwdheden. 3Daarom zullen wij niet vrezen, al veranderde de aarde haar plaats, en al werden de bergen verzet in het hart der zeeen; 4Laat haar wateren bruisen, laat ze beroerd worden; laat de bergen daveren, door derzelver verheffing! Sela. 5De beekjes der rivier zullen verblijden de stad Gods, het heiligdom der woningen des Allerhoogsten. 6God is in het midden van haar, zij zal niet wankelen; God zal haar helpen in het aanbreken van den morgenstond. 7De heidenen raasden, de koninkrijken bewogen zich; Hij verhief Zijn stem, de aarde versmolt. 8De HEERE der heirscharen is met ons; de God van Jakob is ons een Hoog Vertrek. Sela. 9Komt, aanschouwt de daden des HEEREN, Die verwoestingen op aarde aanricht. 10Die de oorlogen doet ophouden tot aan het einde der aarde, de boog verbreekt, en de spies aan twee slaat, de wagenen met vuur verbrandt. 11Laat af, en weet, dat Ik God ben; Ik zal verhoogd worden onder de heidenen, Ik zal verhoogd worden op de aarde. De HEERE der heirscharen is met ons; de God van Jakob is ons een Hoog Vertrek. Sela.
