Thi-thiên 65

1Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, tại Si-ôn người ta mong đợi ngợi khen Chúa; Họ sẽ trả sự hứa nguyện cho Chúa. 2Hỡi Ðấng nghe lời cầu nguyện, Các xác thịt đều sẽ đến cùng Ngài. 3Sự gian ác thắng hơn tôi: Còn về sự vi phạm chúng tôi, Chúa sẽ tha thứ cho. 4Phước thay cho người mà Chúa đã chọn và khiến đến gần, Ðặng ở nơi hành lang Chúa: Chúng tôi sẽ được no nê vật tốt lành của nhà Chúa, Là đền thánh của Ngài. 5Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời về sự cứu rỗi chúng tôi, Chúa sẽ lấy việc đáng sợ mà đáp lại chúng tôi theo sự công bình; Chúa là sự tin cậy của các cùng tột trái đất, và của kẻ ở trên biển xa. 6Chúa dùng quyền năng mình lập các núi vững chắc, Vì Chúa được thắt lưng bằng sức lực; 7Chúa dẹp yên sự ầm ầm của biển, sự ồn ào của sóng nó, Và sự xao động của các dân. 8Những kẻ ở nơi đầu cùng trái đất Thấy phép kỳ của Chúa, bèn sợ hãi; Chúa khiến buổi hừng đông và buổi chạng vạng mừng rỡ. 9Chúa thăm viếng đất, và tưới ướt nó, Làm cho nó giàu có nhiều; Suối Ðức Chúa Trời đầy nước. Khi Chúa chế đất, thì sắm sửa ngũ cốc cho loài người. 10Chúa tưới các đường cày nó, làm cục đất nó ra bằng, Lấy mưa tẩm nó cho mềm, và ban phước cho huê lợi của nó. 11Chúa lấy sự nhơn từ mình đội cho năm làm mão triều; Các bước Chúa đặt ra mỡ. 12Các bước Chúa đặt ra mỡ trên đồng cỏ của đồng vắng, Và các nổng đều thắt lưng bằng sự vui mừng. 13Ðồng cỏ đều đầy bầy chiên, Các trũng được bao phủ bằng ngũ cốc; Khắp nơi ấy đều reo mừng, và hát xướng.

1Praise waits for you, God, in Zion. To you shall vows be performed. 2You who hear prayer, to you all men will come. 3Sins overwhelmed me, but you atoned for our transgressions. 4Blessed is one whom you choose, and cause to come near, that he may live in your courts. We will be filled with the goodness of your house, your holy temple. 5By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, of those who are far away on the sea; 6Who by his power forms the mountains, having armed yourself with strength; 7who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations. 8They also who dwell in faraway places are afraid at your wonders. You call the morning’s dawn and the evening with songs of joy. 9You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it. 10You drench its furrows. You level its ridges. You soften it with showers. You bless it with a crop. 11You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance. 12The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness. 13The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing.

1Een psalm van David, een lied, voor den opperzangmeester. 2De lofzang is in stilheid tot U, o God! in Sion; en U zal de gelofte betaald worden. 3Gij hoort het gebed; tot U zal alle vlees komen. 4Ongerechtige dingen hadden de overhand over mij; maar onze overtredingen, die verzoent Gij. 5Welgelukzalig is hij, dien Gij verkiest, en doet naderen, dat hij wone in Uw voorhoven; wij zullen verzadigd worden met het goed van Uw huis, met het heilige van Uw paleis. 6Vreselijke dingen zult Gij ons in gerechtigheid antwoorden, o God onzes heils! o Vertrouwen aller einden der aarde, en der verre gelegenen aan de zee! 7Die de bergen vastzet door Zijn kracht, omgord zijnde met macht. 8Die het bruisen der zeeen stilt, het bruisen harer golven, en het rumoer der volken. 9En die op de einden wonen, vrezen voor Uw tekenen; Gij doet de uitgangen des morgens en des avonds juichen. 10Gij bezoekt het land, en hebbende het begerig gemaakt, verrijkt Gij het grotelijks; de rivier Gods is vol waters; wanneer Gij het alzo bereid hebt, maakt Gij hunlieder koren gereed. 11Gij maakt zijn omgeploegde aarde dronken; Gij doet ze dalen in zijn voren; Gij maakt het week door de druppelen; Gij zegent zijn uitspruitsel. 12Gij kroont het jaar Uwer goedheid; en Uw voetstappen druipen van vettigheid. 13Zij bedruipen de weiden der woestijn; en de heuvelen zijn aangegord met verheuging. De velden zijn bekleed met kudden, en de dalen zijn bedekt met koren; zij juichen, ook zingen zij.
