Thi-thiên 33

1Hỡi người công bình, hãy vui vẻ nơi Ðức Giê-hô-va; Sự ngợi khen đáng cho người ngay thẳng. 2Hãy dùng đờn cầm cảm tạ Ðức Giê-hô-va; Hãy dùng đờn sắc mười dây mà hát ngợi khen Ngài. 3Khá hát cho Ngài một bài ca mới, Và khéo gảy nhạc khí với tiếng vui mừng. 4Vì lời Ðức Giê-hô-va là ngay thẳng, Các việc Ngài đều làm cách thành tín. 5Ngài chuộng sự công bình và sự chánh trực; Ðất đầy dẫy sự nhơn từ của Ðức Giê-hô-va. 6Các từng trời được làm nên bởi lời Ðức Giê-hô-va, Cả cơ binh trời bởi hơi thở của miệng Ngài mà có. 7Ngài thâu các nước biển lại thành như đống, Và trử những nước sâu trong chỗ chứa. 8Khắp thiên hạ khá kính sợ Ðức Giê-hô-va; Các dân thế gian hãy kinh khủng Ngài. 9Vì Ngài phán, thì việc liền có; Ngài biểu, thì vật bèn đứng vững bền. 10Ðức Giê-hô-va làm bại mưu các nước, Khiến những tư tưởng các dân tộc ra hư không. 11Mưu của Ðức Giê-hô-va được vững lập đời đời, ý tưởng của lòng Ngài còn đời nầy sang đời kia. 12Nước nào có Giê-hô-va làm Ðức Chúa Trời mình, Dân tộc nào được Ngài chọn làm cơ nghiệp mình có phước thay! 13Ðức Giê-hô-va từ trên trời ngó xuống, Nhìn thấy hết thảy con cái loài người. 14Ngài ngó xuống từ nơi ở của Ngài, Xem xét hết thảy người ở thế gian. 15Ngài nắn lòng của mọi người, Xem xét mọi việc của chúng nó. 16Chẳng có vua nào vì binh đông mà được cứu, Người mạnh dạn cũng không bởi sức lực lớn lao mà được giải thoát. 17Nhờ ngựa cho được cứu, ấy là vô ích, Nó chẳng bởi sức mạnh lớn của nó mà giải cứu được ai. 18Kìa, mắt của Ðức Giê-hô-va đoái xem người kính sợ Ngài, Cố đến người trông cậy sự nhơn từ Ngài, 19Ðặng cứu linh hồn họ khỏi sự chết, Và bảo tồn mạng sống họ trong cơn đói kém. 20Linh hồn chúng tôi trông đợi Ðức Giê-hô-va; Ngài là sự tiếp trợ và cái khiên của chúng tôi. 21Lòng chúng tôi sẽ vui vẻ nơi Ngài, Vì chúng tôi đã để lòng tin cậy nơi danh thánh của Ngài. 22Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va, nguyện sự nhơn từ Ngài giáng trên chúng tôi, Y theo chúng tôi đã trông cậy.

1Rejoice in Yahweh, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright. 2Give thanks to Yahweh with the lyre. Sing praises to him with the harp of ten strings. 3Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy! 4For Yahweh’s word is right. All his work is done in faithfulness. 5He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh. 6By Yahweh’s word, the heavens were made; all their army by the breath of his mouth. 7He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses. 8Let all the earth fear Yahweh. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 9For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm. 10Yahweh brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect. 11The counsel of Yahweh stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. 12Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. 13Yahweh looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men. 14From the place of his habitation he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth, 15he who fashions all of their hearts; and he considers all of their works. 16There is no king saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. 17A horse is a vain thing for safety, neither does he deliver any by his great power. 18Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness; 19to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine. 20Our soul has waited for Yahweh. He is our help and our shield. 21For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. 22Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh, since we have hoped in you.

1Gij rechtvaardigen! zingt vrolijk in den HEERE; lof betaamt den oprechten. 2Looft den HEERE met de harp; psalmzingt Hem met de luit, en het tiensnarig instrument. 3Zingt Hem een nieuw lied; speelt wel met vrolijk geschal. 4Want des HEEREN woord is recht, en al Zijn werk getrouw. 5Hij heeft gerechtigheid en gericht lief; de aarde is vol van de goedertierenheid des HEEREN. 6Door het Woord des HEEREN zijn de hemelen gemaakt, en door den Geest Zijns monds al hun heir. 7Hij vergadert de wateren der zee als op een hoop; Hij stelt den afgronden schatkameren. 8Laat de ganse aarde voor den HEERE vrezen; laat alle inwoners van de wereld voor Hem schrikken. 9Want Hij spreekt, en het is er; Hij gebiedt, en het staat er. 10De HEERE vernietigt den raad der heidenen; Hij breekt de gedachten der volken. 11Maar de raad des HEEREN bestaat in eeuwigheid, de gedachten Zijns harten van geslacht tot geslacht. 12Welgelukzalig is het volk, welks God de HEERE is; het volk, dat Hij Zich ten erve verkoren heeft. 13De HEERE schouwt uit den hemel, en ziet alle mensenkinderen. 14Hij ziet uit van Zijn vaste woonplaats op alle inwoners der aarde. 15Hij formeert hun aller hart; Hij let op al hun werken. 16Een koning wordt niet behouden door een groot heir; een held wordt niet gered door grote kracht; 17Het paard feilt ter overwinning, en bevrijdt niet door zijn grote sterkte. 18Ziet, des HEEREN oog is over degenen, die Hem vrezen, op degenen, die op Zijn goedertierenheid hopen. 19Om hun ziel van den dood te redden, en om hen bij het leven te houden in den honger. 20Onze ziel verbeidt den HEERE: Hij is onze Hulp en ons Schild. 21Want ons hart is in Hem verblijd, omdat wij op den Naam Zijner heiligheid vertrouwen. 22Uw goedertierenheid, HEERE! zij over ons; gelijk als wij op U hopen.
