Thi-thiên 82

1Ðức Chúa Trời đứng trong hội Ðức Chúa Trời; Ngài đoán xét giữa các thần. 2Các ngươi sẽ đoán xét chẳng công bình, Và tây vị kẻ ác cho đến chừng nào? 3Hãy đoán xét kẻ khốn cùng và ngươi mồ côi; Hãy xử công bình cho người buồn rầu và kẻ túng ngặt. 4Khá cứu vớt kẻ khốn cùng và người thiếu thốn, Giải họ khỏi tay kẻ ác. 5Chúng nó không biết chi, cũng chẳng hiểu chi; Chúng nó đi qua đi lại trong sự tối tăm: Các nền trái đất đều rúng động. 6Ta đã nói: Các ngươi là thần, Hết thảy đều là con trai của Ðấng Chí cao. 7Dầu vậy, các ngươi sẽ chết như loài người, sa ngã như một quan trưởng. 8Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, hãy chổi dậy, đoán xét thế gian; Vì Chúa sẽ được muôn dân làm cơ nghiệp.

1God presides in the great assembly. He judges among the gods. 2“How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah. 3“Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. 4Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.” 5They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken. 6I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High. 7Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.” 8Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.

1Een psalm van Asaf. God staat in de vergadering Godes; Hij oordeelt in het midden der goden; 2Hoe lang zult gijlieden onrecht oordelen, en het aangezicht der goddelozen aannemen? Sela. 3Doet recht den arme en den wees; rechtvaardigt den verdrukte en den arme. 4Verlost den arme en den behoeftige, rukt hem uit der goddelozen hand. 5Zij weten niet, en verstaan niet; zij wandelen steeds in duisternis; dies wankelen alle fondamenten der aarde. 6Ik heb wel gezegd: Gij zijt goden; en gij zijt allen kinderen des Allerhoogsten; 7Nochtans zult gij sterven als een mens; en als een van de vorsten zult gij vallen. 8Sta op, o God! oordeel het aardrijk, want Gij bezit alle natien.
