Thi-thiên 72

1Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, xin ban cho vua sự xét đoán của Chúa, Và ban cho vương tử sự công bình của Ngài. 2Người sẽ đoán xét dân sự Chúa cách công bình, Xử kẻ khốn cùng cách ngay thẳng. 3Nhơn vì sự công bình, các núi và gò nỗng Sẽ đem bình an đến cho dân sự. 4Người sẽ đoán xét kẻ khốn cùng của dân, Cứu con cái người thiếu thốn, và chà nát kẻ hà hiếp. 5Hễ mặt trời, mặt trăng còn có bao lâu, Thì chúng nó kính sợ Chúa bấy lâu, cho đến muôn đời. 6Vua sẽ giáng xuống như mưa trên cỏ mới phát, Khác nào giọt của trận mưa tưới đất vậy. 7Trong ngày vua ấy, người công bình sẽ hưng thạnh, Cũng sẽ có bình an dư dật cho đến chừng mặt trăng không còn. 8Người sẽ quản hạt từ biển nầy tới biển kia, Từ sông cho đến cùng trái đất. 9Những người ở đồng vắng sẽ cúi lạy trước mặt người; Còn các kẻ thù nghịch người sẽ liếm bụi đất. 10Các vua Ta-rê-si và những cù lao sẽ cống thuế cho người. Vua Sa-ba và vua Sê-ba sẽ cống lễ cho người. 11Phải, hết thảy các vua sẽ sấp mình xuống trước mặt người; Các nước sẽ phục sự người. 12Vì người sẽ giải kẻ thiếu thốn khi nó kêu cầu, Và cứu người khốn cùng không có ai giúp đỡ. 13Người sẽ thương xót kẻ khốn cùng, người thiếu thốn, Và cứu linh hồn của người thiếu thốn. 14Người sẽ chuộc linh hồn họ khỏi sự hà hiếp và sự hung bạo; Cũng sẽ xem huyết họ là quí báu. 15Người sẽ được sống, và thiên hạ sẽ dâng vàng Sa-ba cho người, Người ta sẽ cầu nguyện cho người luôn luôn, và hằng ngày chúc phước cho người. 16Sẽ có dư dật ngũ cốc trên đất và trên đỉnh các núi; Bông trái nó sẽ lào xào như Li-ban; Còn người ở thành thị sẽ hưng thạnh như cỏ của đất. 17Danh người sẽ còn mãi mãi, Hễ mặt trời còn đến chừng nào, danh người sẽ noi theo chừng nầy: Người ta sẽ nhơn danh người mà chúc phước nhau! Các nước đều sẽ xưng người là có phước. 18Ðáng ngợi khen Giê-hô-va Ðức Chúa Trời, là Ðức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên, Chỉ một minh Ngài làm những sự lạ lùng! 19Ðáng ngợi khen danh vinh hiển Ngài đến đời đời! 1God, give the king your justice; your righteousness to the royal son. 2He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice. 3The mountains shall bring prosperity to the people. The hills bring the fruit of righteousness. 4He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces. 5They shall fear you while the sun endures; and as long as the moon, throughout all generations. 6He will come down like rain on the mown grass, as showers that water the earth. 7In his days, the righteous shall flourish, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more. 8He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth. 9Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him. His enemies shall lick the dust. 10The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. 11Yes, all kings shall fall down before him. All nations shall serve him. 12For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor, who has no helper. 13He will have pity on the poor and needy. He will save the souls of the needy. 14He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. Their blood will be precious in his sight. 15They shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba. Men shall pray for him continually. They shall bless him all day long. 16Abundance of grain shall be throughout the land. Its fruit sways like Lebanon. Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field. 17His name endures forever. His name continues as long as the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him blessed. 18Praise be to Yahweh God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. 19Blessed be his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory! 1Voor Salomo. O God! geef den koning Uw rechten, en Uw gerechtigheid den zoon des konings. 2Zo zal hij Uw volk richten met gerechtigheid, en Uw ellendigen met recht. 3De bergen zullen den volke vrede dragen, ook de heuvelen, met gerechtigheid. 4Hij zal de ellendigen des volks richten; hij zal de kinderen des nooddruftigen verlossen, en den verdrukker verbrijzelen. 5Zij zullen U vrezen, zolang de zon en maan zullen zijn, van geslacht tot geslacht. 6Hij zal nederdalen als een regen op het nagras, als de druppelen, die de aarde bevochtigen. 7In zijn dagen zal de rechtvaardige bloeien, en de veelheid van vrede, totdat de maan niet meer zij. 8En hij zal heersen van de zee tot aan de zee, en van de rivier tot aan de einden der aarde. 9De ingezetenen van dorre plaatsen zullen voor zijn aangezicht knielen, en zijn vijanden zullen het stof lekken. 10De koningen van Tharsis en de eilanden zullen geschenken aanbrengen; de koningen van Scheba en Seba zullen vereringen toevoeren. 11Ja, alle koningen zullen zich voor hem nederbuigen, alle heidenen zullen hem dienen. 12Want hij zal den nooddruftige redden, die daar roept, mitsgaders den ellendige, en die geen helper heeft. 13Hij zal den arme en nooddruftige verschonen, en de zielen der nooddruftigen verlossen. 14Hij zal hun zielen van list en geweld bevrijden, en hun bloed zal dierbaar zijn in zijn ogen. 15En hij zal leven; en men zal hem geven van het goud van Scheba, en men zal geduriglijk voor hem bidden; den gansen dag zal men hem zegenen. 16Is er een hand vol koren in het land op de hoogte der bergen, de vrucht daarvan zal ruisen als de Libanon; en die van de stad zullen bloeien als het kruid der aarde. 17Zijn naam zal zijn tot in eeuwigheid; zolang als er de zon is, zal zijn naam van kind tot kind voortgeplant worden; en zij zullen in hem gezegend worden; alle heidenen zullen hem welgelukzalig roemen. 18Geloofd zij de HEERE God, de God Israels, Die alleen wonderen doet. 19En geloofd zij de Naam Zijner heerlijkheid tot in eeuwigheid; en de ganse aarde worde met Zijn heerlijkheid vervuld.
