Thi-thiên 66

1Hỡi cả trái đất, Khá cất tiếng reo mừng Ðức Chúa Trời. 2Hãy hát ra sự vinh hiển của danh Ngài, Hãy ngợi khen và tôn vinh Ngài. 3Hãy thưa cùng Ðức Chúa Trời rằng: Các việc Chúa đáng sợ thay! Nhơn vì quyền năng rất lớn của Chúa, những kẻ thù nghịch Chúa đều sẽ suy phục Chúa. 4Cả trái đất sẽ thờ lạy Chúa, Và hát ngợi khen Ngài; Chúng sẽ ca tụng danh Chúa. 5Hãy đến, xem các việc của Ðức Chúa Trời: Công việc Ngài làm cho con cái loài người thật đáng sợ. 6Ngài đổi biển ra đất khô; Người ta đi bộ ngang qua sông: Tại nơi ấy chúng tôi vui mừng trong Ngài. 7Ngài dùng quyền năng Ngài mà cai trị đời đời; Mắt Ngài xem xét các nước: Những kẻ phản nghịch chớ tự-cao. 8Hỡi các dân, hãy chúc tụng Ðức Chúa Trời chúng ta, Và làm cho vang tiếng ngợi khen Ngài. 9Chính Ngài bảo tồn mạng sống chúng ta, Không cho phép chơn chúng ta xiêu tó. 10Vì, Ðức Chúa Trời ơi, Chúa đã thử thách chúng tôi, Rèn luyện chúng tôi y như luyện bạc. 11Chúa đã đem chúng tôi vào lưới, Chất gánh nặng quá trên lưng chúng tôi. 12Chúa khiến người ta cỡi trên đầu chúng tôi; Chúng tôi đi qua lửa qua nước; Nhưng Chúa đem chúng tôi ra nơi giàu có. 13Tôi sẽ lấy của lễ thiêu mà vào trong nhà Chúa, Trả xong cho Chúa các sự hứa nguyện tôi, 14Mà môi tôi đã hứa, Và miệng tôi đã nói ra trong khi bị gian truân. 15Tôi sẽ dân cho Chúa những con sinh mập làm của lễ thiêu, Chung với mỡ chiên đực; Tôi cũng sẽ dâng những bò đực và dê đực. 16Hỡi hết thảy người kính sợ Ðức Chúa Trời, hãy đến nghe, Thì tôi sẽ thuật điều Ngài đã làm cho linh hồn tôi. 17Tôi lấy miệng tôi kêu cầu Ngài, Và lưỡi tôi tôn cao Ngài. 18Nếu lòng tôi có chú về tội ác, Ấy Chúa chẳng nghe tôi. 19Nhưng Ðức Chúa Trời thật có nghe; Ngài đã lắng tai nghe tiếng cầu nguyện tôi. 20Ðáng ngợi khen Ðức Chúa Trời, Vì Ngài chẳng bỏ lời cầu nguyện tôi, Cũng không rút sự nhơn từ Ngài khỏi tôi.

1Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth! 2Sing to the glory of his name! Offer glory and praise! 3Tell God, “How awesome are your deeds! Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you. 4All the earth will worship you, and will sing to you; they will sing to your name.” Selah. 5Come, and see God’s deeds— awesome work on behalf of the children of men. 6He turned the sea into dry land. They went through the river on foot. There, we rejoiced in him. 7He rules by his might forever. His eyes watch the nations. Don’t let the rebellious rise up against him. Selah. 8Praise our God, you peoples! Make the sound of his praise heard, 9who preserves our life among the living, and doesn’t allow our feet to be moved. 10For you, God, have tested us. You have refined us, as silver is refined. 11You brought us into prison. You laid a burden on our backs. 12You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, but you brought us to the place of abundance. 13I will come into your temple with burnt offerings. I will pay my vows to you, 14which my lips promised, and my mouth spoke, when I was in distress. 15I will offer to you burnt offerings of fat animals, with the offering of rams, I will offer bulls with goats. Selah. 16Come, and hear, all you who fear God. I will declare what he has done for my soul. 17I cried to him with my mouth. He was extolled with my tongue. 18If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened. 19But most certainly, God has listened. He has heard the voice of my prayer. 20Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor his loving kindness from me.

1Een lied, een psalm, voor den opperzangmeester. Juicht Gode, gij ganse aarde! 2Psalmzingt de eer Zijns Naams; geeft eer Zijn lof. 3Zegt tot God: Hoe vreselijk zijt Gij in Uw werken! Om de grootheid Uwer sterkte zullen zich Uw vijanden geveinsdelijk aan U onderwerpen. 4De ganse aarde aanbidde U, en psalmzinge U; zij psalmzinge Uw Naam. Sela. 5Komt en ziet Gods daden; Hij is vreselijk van werking aan de mensenkinderen. 6Hij heeft de zee veranderd in het droge; zij zijn te voet doorgegaan door de rivier; daar hebben wij ons in Hem verblijd. 7Hij heerst eeuwiglijk met Zijn macht; Zijn ogen houden wacht over de heidenen; laat de afvalligen niet verhoogd worden. Sela. 8Looft, gij volken! onzen God; en laat horen de stem Zijns roems. 9Die onze zielen in het leven stelt, en niet toelaat, dat onze voet wankele. 10Want Gij hebt ons beproefd, o God! Gij hebt ons gelouterd, gelijk men het zilver loutert; 11Gij hadt ons in het net gebracht; Gij hadt een engen band om onze lenden gelegd; 12Gij hadt den mens op ons hoofd doen rijden; wij waren in het vuur en in het water gekomen; maar Gij hebt ons uitgevoerd in een overvloeiende verversing. 13Ik zal met brandofferen in Uw huis gaan; ik zal U mijn geloften betalen, 14Die mijn lippen hebben geuit, en mijn mond heeft uitgesproken, als mij bange was. 15Brandofferen van mergbeesten zal ik U offeren, met rookwerk van rammen; ik zal runderen met bokken bereiden. Sela. 16Komt, hoort toe, o allen gij, die God vreest, en ik zal vertellen, wat Hij aan mijn ziel gedaan heeft. 17Ik riep tot Hem met mijn mond, en Hij werd verhoogd onder mijn tong. 18Had ik naar ongerechtigheid met mijn hart gezien, de Heere zou niet gehoord hebben. 19Maar zeker, God heeft gehoord; Hij heeft gemerkt op de stem mijns gebeds. 20Geloofd zij God, Die mijn gebed niet heeft afgewend, noch Zijn goedertierenheid van mij.
