Salmos 86

1Inclina teus ouvidos, SENHOR, e ouve-me, porque estou aflito e necessitado. 2Guarda minha alma, porque eu sou dedicado a ti ; ó Deus, salva o teu servo, que confia em ti. 3Tem misericórdia de mim, SENHOR, porque clamo a ti o dia todo. 4Alegra a alma de teu servo; porque a ti, Senhor, levanto a minha alma. 5Pois tu, Senhor, és bom, perdoador, e grande em bondade para todos os que clamam a ti. 6Inclina, SENHOR, teus ouvidos à minha oração; e presta atenção à voz de minhas súplicas. 7No dia de minha angústia clamarei a ti, pois tu me responderás. 8Não há semelhante a ti entre os deuses, ó Senhor; e nem obras como as tuas. 9Todas as nações que tu fizeste virão e se prostrarão diante de ti, Senhor; e elas glorificarão o teu nome. 10Pois tu és grande, e fazes maravilhas; somente tu és Deus. 11Ensina-me, SENHOR, o teu caminho, e eu andarei em tua verdade; une meu coração com o temor ao teu nome. 12Louvarei a ti, ó Senhor meu Deus, com todo o meu coração; e glorificarei o teu nome para sempre; 13Pois grande é a tua bondade para comigo, e tu resgataste minha alma das profundezas do mundo dos mortos. 14Ó Deus, pessoas arrogantes têm se levantado contra mim; e muitos violentos procuram matar a minha alma, e te desprezam. 15Porém tu, Senhor, és Deus misericordioso e piedoso; tardio para se irar, e abundante em bondade e verdade. 16Volta-te para mim, e tem piedade de mim; dá tua força a teu servo, e salva o filho de tua serva. 17Faze-me um sinal de bondade, para que os que me odeiam vejam, e se envergonhem; porque tu, SENHOR, tens me ajudado e consolado.

1Hear, Yahweh, and answer me, for I am poor and needy. 2Preserve my soul, for I am godly. You, my God, save your servant who trusts in you. 3Be merciful to me, Lord, for I call to you all day long. 4Bring joy to the soul of your servant, for to you, Lord, do I lift up my soul. 5For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you. 6Hear, Yahweh, my prayer. Listen to the voice of my petitions. 7In the day of my trouble I will call on you, for you will answer me. 8There is no one like you among the gods, Lord, nor any deeds like your deeds. 9All nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord. They shall glorify your name. 10For you are great, and do wondrous things. You are God alone. 11Teach me your way, Yahweh. I will walk in your truth. Make my heart undivided to fear your name. 12I will praise you, Lord my God, with my whole heart. I will glorify your name forever more. 13For your loving kindness is great toward me. You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. 14God, the proud have risen up against me. A company of violent men have sought after my soul, and they don’t hold regard for you before them. 15But you, Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth. 16Turn to me, and have mercy on me! Give your strength to your servant. Save the son of your handmaid. 17Show me a sign of your goodness, that those who hate me may see it, and be shamed, because you, Yahweh, have helped me, and comforted me.

1Een gebed van David. HEERE! neig Uw oor, verhoor mij; want ik ben ellendig en nooddruftig. 2Bewaar mijn ziel, want ik ben Uw gunstgenoot, o Gij, mijn God! verlos Uw knecht die op U betrouwt. 3Zijt mij genadig, HEERE! want ik roep tot U den gansen dag. 4Verheug de ziel Uws knechts; want tot U, HEERE! verhef ik mijn ziel. 5Want Gij, HEERE! zijt goed, en gaarne vergevende, en van grote goedertierenheid allen, die U aanroepen. 6HEERE! neem mijn gebed ter ore, en merk op de stem mijner smekingen. 7In den dag mijner benauwdheid roep ik U aan, want Gij verhoort mij. 8Onder de goden is niemand U gelijk, Heere! en er zijn geen gelijk Uw werken. 9Al de heidenen, Heere! die Gij gemaakt hebt, zullen komen, en zullen zich voor Uw aanschijn nederbuigen, en Uw Naam eren. 10Want Gij zijt groot, en doet wonderwerken; Gij alleen zijt God. 11Leer mij, HEERE! Uw weg; ik zal in Uw waarheid wandelen; verenig mijn hart tot de vreze Uws Naams. 12Heere, mijn God! ik zal U met mijn ganse hart loven, en ik zal Uw Naam eren in eeuwigheid; 13Want Uw goedertierenheid is groot over mij; en Gij hebt mijn ziel uit het onderste des grafs uitgerukt. 14O God! de hovaardigen staan tegen mij op, en de vergaderingen der tirannen zoeken mijn ziel; en zij stellen U niet voor hun ogen. 15Maar Gij, Heere! zijt een barmhartig en genadig God, lankmoedig, en groot van goedertierenheid en waarheid. 16Wend U tot mij, en zijt mij genadig, geef Uw knecht Uw sterkte, en verlos den zoon Uwer dienstmaagd. 17Doe aan mij een teken ten goede, opdat het mijn haters zien, en beschaamd worden, als Gij, HEERE! mij geholpen, en mij getroost zult hebben.
