Salmos 147

1Louvai ao SENHOR, porque é bom cantar louvores ao nosso Deus; porque agradável e merecido é o louvor. 2O SENHOR edifica a Jerusalém; e ajunta os dispersos de Israel. 3Ele sara aos de coração partido, e os cura de suas dores. 4Ele conta o número das estrelas; chama todas elas pelos seus nomes. 5O nosso Senhor é grande e muito poderoso; seu entendimento é incomensurável. 6O SENHOR levanta aos mansos; e abate aos perversos até a terra. 7Cantai ao SENHOR em agradecimento; cantai louvores ao nosso Deus com harpa. 8Ele que cobre o céu com nuvens, que prepara chuva para a terra, que faz os montes produzirem erva; 9Que dá ao gado seu pasto; e também aos filhos dos corvos, quando clamam. 10Ele não se agrada da força do cavalo, nem se contenta com as pernas do homem. 11O SENHOR se agrada dos que o temem, daqueles que esperam por sua bondade. 12Louva, Jerusalém, ao SENHOR; celebra ao teu Deus, ó Sião. 13Porque ele fortifica os ferrolhos de tuas portas; ele abençoa a teus filhos dentro de ti. 14Ele é o que dá paz às tuas fronteiras; e te farta com o melhor trigo; 15Que envia sua ordem à terra; sua palavra corre velozmente. 16Que dá a neve como a lã; espalha a geada como a cinza. 17Que lança seu gelo em pedaços; quem pode subsistir ao seu frio? 18Ele manda sua palavra, e os faz derreter; faz soprar seu vento, e escorrem-se as águas. 19Ele declara suas palavras a Jacó; e seus estatutos e seus juízos a Israel. 20Ele não fez assim a nenhuma outra nação; e não conhecem os juízos dele . 1Praise Yah, for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to praise him. 2Yahweh builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel. 3He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. 4He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names. 5Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite. 6Yahweh upholds the humble. He brings the wicked down to the ground. 7Sing to Yahweh with thanksgiving. Sing praises on the harp to our God, 8who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass grow on the mountains. 9He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call. 10He doesn’t delight in the strength of the horse. He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man. 11Yahweh takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness. 12Praise Yahweh, Jerusalem! Praise your God, Zion! 13For he has strengthened the bars of your gates. He has blessed your children within you. 14He makes peace in your borders. He fills you with the finest of the wheat. 15He sends out his commandment to the earth. His word runs very swiftly. 16He gives snow like wool, and scatters frost like ashes. 17He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can stand before his cold? 18He sends out his word, and melts them. He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow. 19He shows his word to Jacob; his statutes and his ordinances to Israel. 20He has not done this for just any nation. They don’t know his ordinances. Praise Yah!

1Looft den HEERE, want onzen God te psalmzingen is goed, dewijl Hij liefelijk is; de lof is betamelijk. 2De HEERE bouwt Jeruzalem; Hij vergadert Israels verdrevenen. 3Hij geneest de gebrokenen van hart, en Hij verbindt hen in hun smarten. 4Hij telt het getal der sterren; Hij noemt ze allen bij namen. 5Onze Heere is groot en van veel kracht; Zijns verstands is geen getal. 6De HEERE houdt de zachtmoedigen staande; de goddelozen vernedert Hij, tot de aarde toe. 7Zingt den HEERE bij beurte met dankzegging; psalmzingt onzen God op de harp. 8Die de hemelen met wolken bedekt, Die voor de aarde regen bereidt; Die het gras op de bergen doet uitspruiten; 9Die het vee zijn voeder geeft; aan de jonge raven, als zij roepen. 10Hij heeft geen lust aan de sterkte des paards; Hij heeft geen welgevallen aan de benen des mans. 11De HEERE heeft een welgevallen aan hen, die Hem vrezen, die op Zijn goedertierenheid hopen. 12O Jeruzalem! roem den HEERE; o Sion! loof uw God. 13Want Hij maakt de grendelen uwer poorten sterk; Hij zegent uw kinderen binnen in u. 14Die uw landpalen in vrede stelt; Hij verzadigt u met het vette der tarwe. 15Hij zendt Zijn bevel op aarde; Zijn woord loopt zeer snel. 16Hij geeft sneeuw als wol; Hij strooit den rijm als as. 17Hij werpt Zijn ijs heen als stukken; wie zou bestaan voor Zijn koude? 18Hij zendt Zijn woord, en doet ze smelten; Hij doet Zijn wind waaien, de wateren vloeien henen. 19Hij maakt Jakob Zijn woorden bekend, Israel Zijn inzettingen en Zijn rechten. 20Alzo heeft Hij geen volk gedaan; en Zijn rechten, die kennen zij niet. Hallelujah!
