1Meu coração derrama palavras boas; digo meus versos sobre o Rei; minha língua é pena de um habilidoso escriba. 2Tu és o mais belo dos filhos dos homens; graça foi derramada em teus lábios, por isso Deus te bendisse para sempre. 3Põe tua espada ao redor de tua coxa, ó valente; com tua glória e tua honra. 4E em tua glória prosperamente cavalga, sobre a palavra da verdade e da justa mansidão; e tua mão direita ensinará coisas temíveis. 5Tuas flechas são afiadas no coração dos inimigos do Rei; povos cairão debaixo de ti. 6Deus, teu trono é eterno e dura para sempre; o cetro de teu reino é cetro de equidade. 7Tu amas a justiça e odeias a maldade; por isso Deus, o teu Deus te ungiu com azeite de alegria, mais que a teus companheiros. 8Todos as tuas roupas cheiram a mirra, aloés e cássia; alegram-te desde os palácios de marfim. 9Filhas de reis estão entre tuas damas de honra; e a rainha está à tua direita, ornada com o valioso ouro de Ofir. 10Ouve, filha, e olha, e inclina os teus ouvidos; e esquece-te de teu povo, e da casa de teu pai. 11Então o rei desejará tua beleza; inclina-te a ele, pois ele é teu Senhor. 12E a filha de Tiro, os ricos dentre o povo, suplicarão teu favor com presentes. 13Gloriosa é a filha do Rei dentro do palácio ; de fios de ouro é a sua roupa. 14Com roupas bordadas a levarão ao Rei; as virgens atrás dela, suas companheiras, serão trazidas a ti. 15Serão trazidas com alegria e grande satisfação; entrarão no palácio do Rei. 16Em vez de teus pais, serão teus filhos; tu os porás por príncipes sobre toda a terra. 17Farei memória de teu nome em toda geração após geração; por isso os povos te louvarão para todo o sempre.
1My heart overflows with a noble theme. I recite my verses for the king. My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer. 2You are the most excellent of the sons of men. Grace has anointed your lips, therefore God has blessed you forever. 3Strap your sword on your thigh, mighty one: your splendor and your majesty. 4In your majesty ride on victoriously on behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness. Let your right hand display awesome deeds. 5Your arrows are sharp. The nations fall under you, with arrows in the heart of the king’s enemies. 6Your throne, God, is forever and ever. A scepter of equity is the scepter of your kingdom. 7You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows. 8All your garments smell like myrrh, aloes, and cassia. Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made you glad. 9Kings’ daughters are among your honorable women. At your right hand the queen stands in gold of Ophir. 10Listen, daughter, consider, and turn your ear. Forget your own people, and also your father’s house. 11So the king will desire your beauty, honor him, for he is your lord. 12The daughter of Tyre comes with a gift. The rich among the people entreat your favor. 13The princess inside is all glorious. Her clothing is interwoven with gold. 14She shall be led to the king in embroidered work. The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to you. 15With gladness and rejoicing they shall be led. They shall enter into the king’s palace. 16Your sons will take the place of your fathers. You shall make them princes in all the earth. 17I will make your name to be remembered in all generations. Therefore the peoples shall give you thanks forever and ever.
1Een onderwijzing, een lied der liefde, voor den opperzangmeester, onder de kinderen van Korach, op Schoschannim. 2Mijn hart geeft een goede rede op; ik zegge mijn gedichten uit van een Koning; mijn tong is een pen eens vaardigen schrijvers. 3Gij zijt veel schoner dan de mensenkinderen; genade is uitgestort in Uw lippen; daarom heeft U God gezegend in eeuwigheid. 4Gord Uw zwaard aan de heup, o Held! Uw Majesteit en Uw heerlijkheid. 5En rijd voorspoediglijk in Uw heerlijkheid, op het woord der waarheid en rechtvaardige zachtmoedigheid; en Uw rechterhand zal U vreselijke dingen leren. 6Uw pijlen zijn scherp; volken zullen onder U vallen; zij treffen in het hart van des Konings vijanden. 7Uw troon, o God! is eeuwiglijk en altoos; de scepter Uws Koninkrijks is een scepter der rechtmatigheid. 8Gij hebt gerechtigheid lief, en haat goddeloosheid; daarom heeft U, o God! Uw God gezalfd met vreugdeolie, boven Uw medegenoten. 9Al Uw klederen zijn mirre, en aloe, en kassie; uit de elpenbenen paleizen, van waar zij U verblijden. 10Dochters van koningen zijn onder Uw kostelijke staatsdochteren; de Koningin staat aan Uw rechterhand, in het fijnste goud van Ofir. 11Hoor, o Dochter! en zie, en neig uw oor; en vergeet uw volk en uws vaders huis. 12Zo zal de Koning lust hebben aan uw schoonheid; dewijl Hij uw Heere is, zo buig u voor Hem neder. 13En de dochter van Tyrus, de rijken onder het volk, zullen uw aangezicht met geschenk smeken. 14Des Konings Dochter is geheel verheerlijkt inwendig; haar kleding is van gouden borduursel. 15In gestikte klederen zal zij tot den Koning geleid worden; de jonge dochteren, die achter haar zijn, haar medegezellinnen, zullen tot u gebracht worden. 16Zij zullen geleid worden met alle blijdschap en verheuging; zij zullen ingaan in des Konings paleis. 17In plaats van Uw vaderen zullen Uw zonen zijn; Gij zult hen tot vorsten zetten over de ganse aarde. Ik zal Uws Naams doen gedenken van elk geslacht tot geslacht; daarom zullen U de volken loven eeuwiglijk en altoos.
