Salmos 146

1Aleluia! Louva ao SENHOR, ó minha alma! 2Louvarei ao SENHOR durante toda a minha vida; cantarei louvores a meu Deus enquanto eu existir . 3Não ponhas tua confiança em príncipes; em filhos de homens, em quem não há salvação. 4O espírito dele s sai, e volta para sua terra; naquele mesmo dia seus pensamentos perecem. 5Bem-aventurado aquele que tem o Deus de Jacó como sua ajuda, cuja esperança está no SENHOR seu Deus; 6Que fez os céus e a terra, o mar, e tudo o que neles há ; que guarda a fidelidade para sempre. 7Que faz juízo aos oprimidos, que dá pão aos famintos; o SENHOR solta aos presos. 8O SENHOR abre os olhos dos cegos; o SENHOR levanta aos abatidos; o SENHOR ama aos justos. 9O SENHOR guarda os estrangeiros; sustenta o órfão e a viúva; mas põe dificuldades ao caminho dos perversos. 10O SENHOR reinará eternamente. Ó Sião, o teu Deus reinará geração após geração. Aleluia!

1Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh, my soul. 2While I live, I will praise Yahweh. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist. 3Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help. 4His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish. 5Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God: 6who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever; 7who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners. 8Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous. 9Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wicked he turns upside down. 10Yahweh will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Yah!

O mijn ziel! prijs den HEERE. 2Ik zal den HEERE prijzen in mijn leven; ik zal mijn God psalmzingen, terwijl ik nog ben. 3Vertrouwt niet op prinsen, op des mensen kind, bij hetwelk geen heil is. 4Zijn geest gaat uit, hij keert wederom tot zijn aarde; te dienzelfden dage vergaan zijn aanslagen. 5Welgelukzalig is hij, die den God Jakobs tot zijn Hulp heeft, wiens verwachting op den HEERE, zijn God is; 6Die den hemel en de aarde gemaakt heeft, de zee en al wat in dezelve is; Die trouwe houdt in der eeuwigheid. 7Die den verdrukte recht doet, Die den hongerige brood geeft; de HEERE maakt de gevangenen los. 8De HEERE opent de ogen der blinden; de HEERE richt de gebogenen op; de HEERE heeft de rechtvaardigen lief. 9De HEERE bewaart de vreemdelingen; Hij houdt den wees en de weduwe staande; maar der goddelozen weg keert Hij om. 10De HEERE zal in eeuwigheid regeren; uw God, o Sion! is van geslacht tot geslacht.
