Salmos 24

1Ao SENHOR pertence a terra, e sua plenitude; o mundo, e os que nele habitam. 2Porque ele a fundou sobre os mares; e sobre os rios ele a firmou. 3Quem subirá ao monte do SENHOR? E quem ficará de pé no lugar de sua santidade? 4Aquele que é limpo de mãos, e puro de coração, que não entrega sua alma para as coisas vãs, nem jura enganosamente. 5Este receberá a bênção do SENHOR, e a justiça do Deus de sua salvação. 6Esta é a geração dos que o buscam, dos que procuram a tua face: a geração de Jacó. (Selá) 7Levantai, portas, vossas cabeças; e levantai-vos vós, entradas eternas; para que entre o Rei da Glória. 8Quem é o Rei da Glória? O SENHOR forte e poderoso, o SENHOR poderoso na guerra. 9Levantai, portas, vossas cabeças; e levantai-vos vós, entradas eternas; para que entre o Rei da Glória. 10Quem é este Rei da Glória? O SENHOR dos exércitos; ele é o Rei da Glória! (Selá)

1The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein. 2For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods. 3Who may ascend to Yahweh’s hill? Who may stand in his holy place? 4He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully. 5He shall receive a blessing from Yahweh, righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face—even Jacob. Selah. 7Lift up your heads, you gates! Be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in. 8Who is the King of glory? Yahweh strong and mighty, Yahweh mighty in battle. 9Lift up your heads, you gates; yes, lift them up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in. 10Who is this King of glory? Yahweh of Armies is the King of glory! Selah.

De aarde is des HEEREN, mitsgaders haar volheid, de wereld, en die daarin wonen. 2Want Hij heeft ze gegrond op de zeeen, en heeft ze gevestigd op de rivieren. 3Wie zal klimmen op den berg des HEEREN, en wie zal staan in de plaats Zijner heiligheid? 4Die rein van handen, en zuiver van hart is, die zijn ziel niet opheft tot ijdelheid, en die niet bedriegelijk zweert; 5Die zal den zegen ontvangen van den HEERE, en gerechtigheid van den God zijns heils. 6Dat is het geslacht dergenen, die naar Hem vragen, die Uw aangezicht zoeken, dat is Jakob! Sela. 7Heft uw hoofden op, gij poorten, en verheft u, gij eeuwige deuren, opdat de Koning der ere inga! 8Wie is de Koning der ere? De HEERE, sterk en geweldig, de HEERE, geweldig in den strijd. 9Heft uw hoofden op, gij poorten, ja, heft op, gij eeuwige deuren! opdat de Koning der ere inga! 10Wie is Hij, deze Koning der ere?
