1La parola dell’Eterno mi fu ancora rivolta in questi termini: 2"Figliuol d’uomo, tu abiti in mezzo a una casa ribelle che ha occhi per vedere e non vede, orecchi per udire e non ode perché è una casa ribelle. 3Perciò, figliuol d’uomo, preparati un bagaglio da esiliato e parti di giorno in loro presenza, come se tu andassi in esilio; parti, in loro presenza, dal luogo dove tu sei, per un altro luogo; forse vi porranno mente; perché sono una casa ribelle. 4Metti dunque fuori, di giorno, in loro presenza, il tuo bagaglio, simile a quello di chi va in esilio; poi la sera, esci tu stesso, in loro presenza, come fanno quelli che sen vanno esuli. 5Fa’, in loro presenza, un foro nel muro, e porta fuori per esso il tuo bagaglio. 6Portalo sulle spalle in loro presenza; portalo fuori quando farà buio; copriti la faccia per non veder la terra; perché io faccio di te un segno per la casa d’Israele". 7E io feci così come m’era stato comandato; trassi fuori di giorno il mio bagaglio, bagaglio di esiliato, e sulla sera feci con le mie mani un foro nel muro; e quando fu buio portai fuori il bagaglio, e me lo misi su le spalle in loro presenza. 8E la mattina la parola dell’Eterno mi fu rivolta in questi termini: 9"Figliuol d’uomo, la casa d’Israele, questa casa ribelle, non t’ha ella detto: Che fai? 10Di’ loro: Così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Quest’oracolo concerne il principe ch’è in Gerusalemme, e tutta la casa d’Israele di cui essi fan parte. 11Di’: Io sono per voi un segno: come ho fatto io, così sarà fatto a loro: essi andranno in esilio, in cattività. 12Il principe ch’è in mezzo a loro porterà il suo bagaglio sulle spalle quando farà buio, e partirà; si farà un foro nel muro, per farlo uscire di lì; egli si coprirà la faccia per non veder coi suoi occhi la terra; 13e io stenderò su lui la mia rete, ed egli sarà preso nel mio laccio; lo menerò a Babilonia, nella terra dei Caldei, ma egli non la vedrà, e quivi morrà. 14E io disperderò a tutti i venti quelli che lo circondano per aiutarlo, e tutti i suoi eserciti, e sguainerò la spada dietro a loro. 15Ed essi conosceranno che io sono l’Eterno quando li avrò sparsi tra le nazioni e dispersi nei paesi stranieri. 16Ma lascerò di loro alcuni pochi uomini scampati dalla spada, dalla fame e dalla peste, affinché narrino tutte le loro abominazioni fra le nazioni dove saran giunti; e conosceranno che io sono l’Eterno". 17La parola dell’Eterno mi fu ancora rivolta in questi termini: 18"Figliuol d’uomo, mangia il tuo pane con tremore, e bevi la tua acqua con trepidazione ed ansietà; 19e di’ al popolo del paese: Così parla il Signore, l’Eterno, riguardo agli abitanti di Gerusalemme nella terra d’Israele: Mangeranno il loro pane con ansietà e berranno la loro acqua con desolazione, poiché il loro paese sarà desolato, spogliato di tutto ciò che contiene, a motivo della violenza di tutti quelli che l’abitano. 20Le città abitate saranno ridotte in rovina, e il paese sarà desolato; e voi conoscerete che io sono l’Eterno. 21E la parola dell’Eterno mi fu rivolta in questi termini: 22"Figliuol d’uomo: Che proverbio è questo che voi ripetete nel paese d’Israele quando dite: I giorni si prolungano e ogni visione è venuta meno? 23Perciò di’ loro: Così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Io farò cessare questo proverbio, e non lo si ripeterà più in Israele; di’ loro, invece: I giorni s’avvicinano, e s’avvicina l’avveramento d’ogni visione; 24poiché nessuna visione sarà più vana, né vi sarà più divinazione ingannevole in mezzo alla casa d’Israele. 25Poiché io sono l’Eterno; qualunque sia la parola che avrò detta, ella sarà messa ad effetto; non sarà più differita; poiché nei vostri giorni, o casa ribelle, io pronunzierò una parola, e la metterò ad effetto, dice il Signore, l’Eterno". 26La parola dell’Eterno mi fu ancora rivolta in questi termini: 27"Figliuol d’uomo, ecco, quelli della casa d’Israele dicono: La visione che costui contempla concerne lunghi giorni a venire, ed egli profetizza per dei tempi lontani. 28Perciò di’ loro: Così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Nessuna della mie parole sarà più differita; la parola che avrò pronunziata sarà messa ad effetto, dice il Signore, l’Eterno".
1Yahweh’s word also came to me, saying, 2Son of man, you dwell in the midst of the rebellious house, who have eyes to see, and don’t see, who have ears to hear, and don’t hear; for they are a rebellious house. 3Therefore, you son of man, prepare your stuff for moving, and move by day in their sight; and you shall move from your place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house. 4You shall bring out your stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for moving; and you shall go out yourself at even in their sight, as when men go out into exile. 5Dig through the wall in their sight, and carry your stuff out that way. 6In their sight you shall bear it on your shoulder, and carry it out in the dark; you shall cover your face, so that you don’t see the land: for I have set you for a sign to the house of Israel. 7I did so as I was commanded: I brought out my stuff by day, as stuff for removing, and in the even I dug through the wall with my hand; I brought it out in the dark, and bore it on my shoulder in their sight. 8In the morning, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 9Son of man, has not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said to you, What are you doing? 10Say to them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel among whom they are. 11Say, I am your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be done to them; they shall go into exile, into captivity. 12The prince who is among them shall bear on his shoulder in the dark, and shall go out: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, because he shall not see the land with his eyes. 13My net also will I spread on him, and he shall be taken in my snare; and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there. 14I will scatter toward every wind all who are around him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them. 15They shall know that I am Yahweh, when I shall disperse them among the nations, and scatter them through the countries. 16But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the nations where they come; and they shall know that I am Yahweh. 17Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 18Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with fearfulness; 19and tell the people of the land, Thus says the Lord Yahweh concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with fearfulness, and drink their water in dismay, that her land may be desolate, and all that is therein, because of the violence of all those who dwell therein. 20The cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be a desolation; and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 21Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 22Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision fails? 23Tell them therefore, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but tell them, The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision. 24For there shall be no more any false vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel. 25For I am Yahweh; I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall be performed; it shall be no more deferred: for in your days, rebellious house, will I speak the word, and will perform it, says the Lord Yahweh. 26Again Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 27Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he sees is for many day to come, and he prophesies of times that are far off. 28Therefore tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: None of my words shall be deferred any more, but the word which I shall speak shall be performed, says the Lord Yahweh.
1Verder geschiedde des HEEREN woord tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind! gij woont in het midden van een wederspannig huis, dewelke ogen hebben om te zien, en niet zien, oren hebben om te horen, en niet horen, want zij zijn een wederspannig huis. 3Daarom gij, mensenkind, maak u gereedschap van vertrekking; en vertrek bij dag voor hun ogen; en gij zult vertrekken van uw plaats tot een andere plaats voor hun ogen; misschien zullen zij het merken, hoewel zij een wederspannig huis zijn. 4Gij zult dan uw gereedschap bij dag voor hun ogen uitbrengen, als het gereedschap dergenen, die vertrekken; daarna zult gij in den avond uitgaan voor hun ogen, gelijk zij uitgaan, die vertrekken. 5Doorgraaf u den wand voor hun ogen, en breng daardoor uw gereedschap uit. 6Voor hun ogen zult gij het op de schouders dragen, in donker zult gij het uitbrengen; uw aangezicht zult gij bedekken, dat gij het land niet ziet; want Ik heb u den huize Israels tot een wonderteken gegeven. 7En ik deed alzo, gelijk als mij bevolen was; ik bracht mijn gereedschap uit bij dag, als het gereedschap dergenen, die vertrekken; daarna in den avond doorgroef ik mij den wand met de hand; ik bracht het uit in donker, en ik droeg het op den schouder voor hun ogen. 8En des morgens geschiedde het woord des HEEREN tot mij, zeggende: 9Mensenkind, heeft niet het huis Israels, het wederspannig huis, tot u gezegd: Wat doet gij? 10Zeg tot hen: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Deze last is tegen den vorst te Jeruzalem, en het ganse huis Israels, dat in het midden van hen is. 11Zeg: Ik ben ulieder wonderteken; gelijk als ik gedaan heb, alzo zal hun gedaan worden; zij zullen door wegvoering in de gevangenis heengaan. 12En de vorst, die in het midden van hen is, zal het gereedschap op den schouder dragen in donker, en hij zal uitgaan; zij zullen door den wand graven, om hem daardoor uit te brengen; hij zal zijn aangezicht bedekken, opdat hij met het oog de aarde niet zie. 13Ik zal ook Mijn net over hem uitspreiden, dat hij in Mijn jachtgaren gegrepen worde; en Ik zal hem brengen in Babylonie, het land der Chaldeen; ook zal hij dat niet zien, hoewel hij daar sterven zal. 14En allen, die rondom hem zijn tot zijn hulp, en al zijn benden zal Ik in alle winden verstrooien; en Ik zal het zwaard achter hen uittrekken. 15Alzo zullen zij weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, wanneer Ik hen onder de heidenen verspreiden en hen in de landen verstrooien zal. 16Doch Ik zal van hen weinige lieden doen overblijven van het zwaard, van den honger en van de pestilentie; opdat zij al hun gruwelen vertellen onder de heidenen, waarhenen zij komen zullen, en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 17Daarna geschiedde het woord des HEEREN tot mij, zeggende: 18Mensenkind, gij zult uw brood eten met beven, en uw water zult gij met beroerte en met kommer drinken. 19En gij zult tot het volk des lands zeggen: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE, van de inwoners van Jeruzalem, in het land Israels: Zij zullen hun brood met kommer eten, en hun water zullen zij met verbaasdheid drinken, omdat hun land woest zal worden van zijn volheid, vanwege het geweld van al degenen, die daarin wonen; 20En de bewoonde steden zullen woest worden, en het land zal een wildernis zijn; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 21Wederom geschiedde het woord des HEEREN tot mij, zeggende: 22Mensenkind, wat is dit voor een spreekwoord, dat gijlieden hebt in het land Israels, zeggende: de dagen zullen verlengd worden, en al het gezicht zal vergaan? 23Daarom zeg tot hen: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ik zal dit spreekwoord doen ophouden, dat zij het niet meer ten spreekwoord gebruiken zullen in Israel. Maar spreek tot hen: De dagen zijn nabij gekomen, en het woord van ieder gezicht. 24Want geen ijdel gezicht zal er meer wezen, noch vleiende waarzegging, in het midden van het huis Israels. 25Want Ik ben de HEERE, Ik zal spreken; het woord, de tijd zal niet meer uitgesteld worden; want in uw dagen, o wederspannig huis, zal Ik een woord spreken, en hetzelve doen, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 26Verder geschiedde het woord des HEEREN tot mij, zeggende: 27Mensenkind, zie, die van het huis Israels zeggen: Het gezicht dat hij ziet, is voor vele dagen, en hij profeteert van tijden, die verre zijn. 28Daarom zeg tot hen: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Geen Mijner woorden zullen meer uitgesteld worden; het woord, hetwelk Ik gesproken heb, dat zal gedaan worden, spreekt de Heere HEERE.
