1Có lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng: 2Hỡi con người, hãy nói tiên tri nghịch cùng những kẻ chăn của Y-sơ-ra-ên; hãy nói tiên tri, và bảo những kẻ chăn ấy rằng: Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Khốn nạn cho kẻ chăn của Y-sơ-ra-ên, là kẻ chỉ nuôi mình! Há chẳng phải những kẻ chăn nên cho bầy chiên ăn sao? 3Các ngươi ăn mỡ, mặc lông chiên, giết những con chiên mập, mà các ngươi không cho bầy chiên ăn! 4Các ngươi chẳng làm cho những con chiên mắc bịnh nên mạnh, chẳng chữa lành những con đau, chẳng rịt thuốc những con bị thương; chẳng đem những con bị đuổi về, chẳng tìm những con bị lạc mất; song các ngươi lại lấy sự độc dữ gay gắt mà cai trị chúng nó. 5Vì không có kẻ chăn thì chúng nó tan lạc; đã tan lạc thì chúng nó trở nên mồi cho hết thảy loài thú ngoài đồng. 6Những chiên ta đi lạc trên mọi núi và mọi đồi cao; những chiên ta tan tác trên cả mặt đất, chẳng có ai kiếm, chẳng có ai tìm. 7Vậy nên, hỡi kẻ chăn, hãy nghe lời Ðức Giê-hô-va: 8Chúa Giê-hô-va phán rằng: Thật như ta hằng sống, vì tại không có kẻ chăn, nên những chiên ta đã làm mồi, và đã trở nên đồ ăn của mọi loài thú ngoài đồng, những kẻ chăn của ta cũng không tìm kiếm chiên ta, nhưng chúng nó chỉ nuôi mình mà không chăn nuôi chiên ta, 9vì cớ đó, hỡi kẻ chăn, hãy nghe lời Ðức Giê-hô-va: 10Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Nầy, ta nghịch cùng những kẻ chăn đó; ta sẽ đòi lại chiên của ta nơi tay chúng nó; ta không để cho chúng nó chăn chiên của ta nữa, và chúng nó cũng không thể tự chăn nuôi lấy mình nữa; nhưng ta sẽ móc chiên ta ra khỏi miệng chúng nó, hầu cho chiên không làm đồ ăn cho chúng nó. 11Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Nầy, chính ta, tức là ta, sẽ kiếm chiên ta, ta sẽ tìm nó ra. 12Ví như kẻ chăn tìm bầy mình ra, trong ngày mà nó ở giữa những chiên mình bị tan lạc, thì ta cũng sẽ tìm chiên ta ra như vậy: ta sẽ cứu chúng nó ra khỏi mọi nơi mà chúng nó đã bị tan lạc trong ngày mây mù tăm tối. 13Ta sẽ đem chúng nó ra khỏi giữa các dân; ta sẽ nhóm chúng nó lại từ các nước, và đem chúng nó về trong đất riêng chúng nó. Ta sẽ chăn chúng nó trên các núi của Y-sơ-ra-ên, kề khe nước, và trong mọi nơi có dân cư trong nước. 14Ta sẽ chăn chúng nó trong những đồng cỏ tốt, và chuồng chúng nó sẽ ở trên các núi nơi đất cao của Y-sơ-ra-ên; ở đó chúng nó sẽ nghỉ trong chuồng tử tế, và ăn cỏ trong đồng cỏ màu mỡ, tức là trên các núi của Y-sơ-ra-ên. 15Ấy chính ta sẽ chăn chiên ta và cho chúng nó nằm nghỉ, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy. 16Ta sẽ tìm con nào đã mất, dắt về con nào bị đuổi, rịt thuốc cho con nào bị gãy, và làm cho con nào đau được mạnh. Nhưng ta sẽ hủy diệt những con mập và mạnh. Ta sẽ dùng sự công bình mà chăn chúng nó. 17Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Còn như bay, hỡi bầy chiên ta, nầy, ta xét đoán giữa chiên và chiên, giữa chiên đực và dê đực. 18Bay ăn trong vườn cỏ xinh tốt, mà lại lấy chơn giày đạp những cỏ còn lại; đã uống những nước trong, lại lấy chơn vậy đục nước còn thừa; bay há chẳng coi sự đó là việc nhỏ mọn sao? 19Còn những chiên ta thì phải ăn cỏ chơn bay đã giày đạp, và uống nước chơn bay đã vấy đục! 20Vậy nên, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Nầy, ta, chính ta, sẽ xét đoán giữa những chiên mập và chiên gầy. 21Vì bay lấy hông lấy vai mà xốc, lấy sừng mà vích mọi chiên con có bịnh, cho đến chừng bay đã làm tan lạc chúng nó ra ngoài, 22nên ta sẽ đến cứu bầy chiên ta, chúng nó sẽ không làm mồi nữa, và ta sẽ xét đoán giữa chiên và chiên. 23Ta sẽ lập trên chúng nó chỉ một kẻ chăn, người sẽ chăn chúng nó, tức là Ða-vít, tôi tớ ta. Ấy là người sẽ chăn chúng nó, người sẽ làm kẻ chăn chúng nó. 24Ta, Ðức Giê-hô-va, sẽ làm Ðức Chúa Trời chúng nó, còn Ða-vít, tôi tớ ta, sẽ làm vua giữa chúng nó. Ta, Ðức Giê-hô-va, đã phán vậy. 25Bấy giờ ta sẽ kết với chiên ta một giao ước hòa bình. Ta sẽ làm cho những thú dữ trong đất dứt đi, đặng dân ta có thể ở yên ổn trong đồng vắng và ngủ trong rừng. 26Ta sẽ làm cho chúng nó với các miền chung quanh đồi ta nên nguồn phước. Ta sẽ khiến mưa sa nơi mùa thuận tiện, ấy sẽ là cơn mưa của phước lành. 27Cây ngoài đồng sẽ ra trái, và đất sẽ sanh hoa lợi. Chúng nó sẽ ở yên trong đất mình, và sẽ biết ta là Ðức Giê-hô-va, khi ta đã bẻ gãy những đòn của ách chúng nó, và đã giải cứu chúng nó ra khỏi tay những kẻ bắt chúng nó phục dịch. 28Chúng nó sẽ chẳng làm mồi của các dân ngoại nữa; những loài thú của đất sẽ chẳng nuốt chúng nó nữa; chúng nó sẽ ở yên ổn, chẳng ai làm cho sợ hãi. 29Ta sẽ sắm vườn có danh tiếng cho chúng nó, chúng nó sẽ không chết đói trong đất mình nữa, và cũng không còn chịu sự hổ nhuốc của các nước nữa. 30Chúng nó sẽ biết ta, Ðức Giê-hô-va, là Ðức Chúa Trời chúng nó, ở cùng chúng nó, và biết nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên chúng nó là dân ta, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy. 31Bay là chiên của ta, là chiên của đồng cỏ ta; bay là loài người, và ta là Ðức Chúa Trời bay, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy.
1Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and tell them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed the sheep? 3You eat the fat, and you clothe yourself with the wool, you kill the fatlings; but you don’t feed the sheep. 4You haven’t strengthened the diseased, neither have you healed that which was sick, neither have you bound up that which was broken, neither have you brought back that which was driven away, neither have you sought that which was lost; but with force and with rigor you have ruled over them. 5They were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food to all the animals of the field, and were scattered. 6My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill: yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth; and there was no one who searched or sought. 7Therefore, you shepherds, hear Yahweh’s word: 8As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the animals of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and didn’t feed my sheep; 9therefore, you shepherds, hear Yahweh’s word: 10Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them. 11For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out. 12As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. 13I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14I will feed them with good pasture; and on the mountains of the height of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie down in a good fold; and on fat pasture shall they feed on the mountains of Israel. 15I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down, says the Lord Yahweh. 16I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but the fat and the strong I will destroy; I will feed them in justice. 17As for you, O my flock, thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, the rams and the male goats. 18Does it seem a small thing to you to have fed on the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture? and to have drunk of the clear waters, but you must foul the residue with your feet? 19As for my sheep, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet, and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet. 20Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh to them: Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep. 21Because you thrust with side and with shoulder, and push all the diseased with your horns, until you have scattered them abroad; 22therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep. 23I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. 24I, Yahweh, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them; I, Yahweh, have spoken it. 25I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. 26I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing. 27The tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them. 28They shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the animals of the earth devour them; but they shall dwell securely, and no one shall make them afraid. 29I will raise up to them a plantation for renown, and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land, neither bear the shame of the nations any more. 30They shall know that I, Yahweh, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord Yahweh. 31You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord Yahweh.
1En des HEEREN woord geschiedde tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind! profeteer tegen de herders van Israel; profeteer en zeg tot hen, tot de herders: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Wee den herderen Israels, die zichzelven weiden! zullen niet de herders de schapen weiden? 3Gij eet het vette, en bekleedt u met de wol, gij slacht het gemeste, maar de schapen weidt gij niet. 4De zwakke sterkt gij niet, en het kranke heelt gij niet, en het gebrokene verbindt gij niet, en het weggedrevene brengt gij niet weder, en het verlorene zoekt gij niet; maar gij heerst over hen met strengheid en met hardigheid. 5Alzo zijn zij verstrooid, omdat er geen herder is; en zij zijn als het wild gedierte des velds tot spijze geworden, dewijl zij verstrooid waren. 6Mijn schapen dolen op alle bergen en op allen hogen heuvel, ja, Mijn schapen zijn verstrooid op den gansen aardbodem; en er is niemand, die er naar vraagt, en niemand, die ze zoekt. 7Daarom, gij herders! hoort des HEEREN woord! 8Zo waarachtig als Ik leef, spreekt de Heere HEERE, zo Ik niet! Omdat Mijn schapen geworden zijn tot een roof, en Mijn schapen al het wild gedierte des velds tot spijze geworden zijn, omdat er geen herder is, en Mijn herders naar Mijn schapen niet vragen; en de herders weiden zichzelven, maar Mijn schapen weiden zij niet; 9Daarom, gij herders! hoort des HEEREN woord! 10Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ziet, Ik wil aan de herders, en zal Mijn schapen van hun hand eisen, en zal ze van het weiden der schapen doen ophouden, zodat de herders zichzelven niet meer zullen weiden; en Ik zal Mijn schapen uit hun mond rukken, zodat zij hun niet meer tot spijze zullen zijn. 11Want zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ziet, Ik, ja, Ik zal naar Mijn schapen vragen, en zal ze opzoeken. 12Gelijk een herder zijn kudde opzoekt, ten dage als hij in het midden zijner verspreide schapen is, alzo zal Ik Mijn schapen opzoeken; en Ik zal ze redden uit al de plaatsen, waarhenen zij verstrooid zijn, ten dage der wolke en der donkerheid. 13En Ik zal ze uitvoeren van de volken, en zal ze vergaderen uit de landen, en brengen ze in hun land; en Ik zal ze weiden op de bergen Israels, bij de stromen en in alle bewoonbare plaatsen des lands. 14Op een goede weide zal Ik ze weiden, en op de hoge bergen Israels zal hun kooi zijn; aldaar zullen zij nederliggen in een goede kooi, en zullen weiden in een vette weide, op de bergen Israels. 15Ik zal Mijn schapen weiden, en Ik zal ze legeren, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 16Het verlorene zal Ik zoeken, en het weggedrevene zal Ik wederbrengen, en het gebrokene zal Ik verbinden, en het kranke zal Ik sterken; maar het vette en het sterke zal Ik verdelgen, Ik zal ze weiden met oordeel. 17Want gij, o Mijn schapen! de Heere HEERE zegt alzo: Ziet, Ik zal richten tussen klein vee en klein vee, tussen de rammen en de bokken. 18Is het u te weinig, dat gij de goede weide afweidt? Zult gij nog het overige uwer weide met uw voeten vertreden? En zult gij de bezonkene wateren drinken, en de overgelatene met uw voeten vermodderen? 19Mijn schapen dan, zullen zij afweiden, wat met uw voeten vertreden is, en drinken, wat met uw voeten vermodderd is? 20Daarom zegt de Heere HEERE alzo tot hen: Ziet Ik, ja, Ik zal richten tussen het vette klein vee, en tussen het magere klein vee. 21Omdat gij al de zwakken met de zijde en met den schouder verdringt, en met uw hoornen stoot, totdat gij dezelve naar buiten toe verstrooid hebt; 22Daarom zal Ik Mijn schapen verlossen, dat zij niet meer tot een roof zullen zijn; en Ik zal richten tussen klein vee en klein vee. 23En Ik zal een enigen Herder over hen verwekken, en Hij zal hen weiden, namelijk Mijn knecht David; die zal ze weiden, en Die zal hun tot een Herder zijn. 24En Ik, de HEERE, zal hun tot een God zijn; en Mijn knecht David zal Vorst zijn in het midden van hen, Ik, de HEERE, heb het gesproken. 25En Ik zal een verbond des vredes met hen maken, en zal het boos gedierte uit het land doen ophouden; en zij zullen zeker wonen in de woestijn, en slapen in de wouden. 26Want Ik zal dezelve, en de plaatsen rondom Mijn heuvel, stellen tot een zegen; en Ik zal den plasregen doen nederdalen op zijn tijd, plasregens van zegen zullen er zijn. 27En het geboomte des velds zal zijn vrucht geven, en het land zal zijn inkomst geven, en zij zullen zeker zijn in hun land; en zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, als Ik de disselbomen huns juks zal hebben verbroken, en hen gerukt uit de hand dergenen, die zich van hen deden dienen. 28En zij zullen den heidenen niet meer ten roof zijn, en het wild gedierte der aarde zal ze niet meer vreten; maar zij zullen zeker wonen, en er zal niemand zijn, die ze verschrikke. 29En Ik zal hun een plant van naam verwekken; en zij zullen niet meer weggeraapt worden door honger in het land, en den smaad der heidenen niet meer dragen. 30Maar zij zullen weten, dat Ik, de HEERE, hun God, met hen ben, en dat zij Mijn volk zijn, het huis Israels, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 31Gij nu, o Mijn schapen, schapen Mijner weide! gij zijt mensen; maar Ik ben uw God, spreekt de Heere HEERE.
