1Vả lại, Thần cất ta lên và đem đến cửa đông nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va, là cửa ở về phía đông. Nầy, nơi lối vào cửa có hai mươi lăm người; giữa bọn đó, ta thấy có Gia-a-xa-nia con trai A-xua, và Phê-la-tia con trai Bê-na-gia, đều là quan trưởng của dân. 2Ngài phán cùng ta rằng: hãy con người, đó là những người toan tính sự gian ác, bày đặt mưu gian trong thành nầy. 3Chúng nó nói rằng: Hiện nay chưa gần kỳ xây nhà! Thành nầy là nồi, chúng ta là thịt. 4Vậy nên, hãy nói tiên tri nghịch cùng chúng nó, hỡi con người hãy nói tiên tri đi! 5Thần của Ðức Giê-hô-va bèn đổ trên ta, và phán rằng: Hãy nói đi! Ðức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Hỡi nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên! các ngươi đã nói làm vậy; vì ta biết những sự nghĩ trong trí các ngươi. 6Các ngươi đã giết rất nhiều người trong thành nầy, và làm đầy xác chết trong các đường phố nó. 7Cho nên, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Những kẻ bị giết mà các ngươi đã để ở giữa thành, ấy là thịt, mà thành là nồi; còn các ngươi sẽ bị đem ra khỏi giữa nó. 8Các ngươi sợ gươm dao; ta sẽ khiến gươm dao đến trên các ngươi, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy. 9Ta sẽ đem các ngươi ra khỏi giữa thành nầy, sẽ phó các ngươi trong tay dân ngoại, và làm sự đoán phạt giữa các ngươi. 10Các ngươi sẽ ngã bởi gươm; ta sẽ đoán xét các ngươi trong bờ cõi Y-sơ-ra-ên, các ngươi sẽ biết rằng ta là Ðức Giê-hô-va. 11Thành nầy sẽ chẳng làm nồi cho các ngươi, các ngươi sẽ chẳng làm thịt giữa nó; ta sẽ đoán xét các ngươi trong bờ cõi Y-sơ-ra-ên. 12Bấy giờ các ngươi sẽ biết ta là Ðức Giê-hô-va, vì các ngươi đã không bước theo lề luật ta, không giữ theo mạng lịnh ta; nhưng đã làm theo mạng lịnh các nước chung quanh mình. 13Vả, trong khi ta nói tiên tri, thì Phê-la-tia, con trai Bê-na-gia, chết. Ta bèn ngã sấp mặt xuống và kêu lớn tiếng rằng: Ôi! Hỡi Chúa Giê-hô-va, Ngài hầu diệt hết dân sót của Y-sơ-ra-ên hay sao? 14Có lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cho ta rằng: 15Hỡi con người, dân cư thành Giê-ru-sa-lem đã nói cùng anh em ngươi, chính anh em ngươi, là những kẻ bà con ngươi, và cả nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên, hết cả mọi người, rằng: Hỡi lìa xa Ðức Giê-hô-va; đất nầy đã được ban cho chúng ta làm cơ nghiệp. 16Vậy nên, khá nói cùng chúng nó: Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Phải, ta đã dời chúng nó nơi xa trong các dân tộc, đã làm tan tác chúng nó trong nhiều nước, ta còn sẽ tạm là nơi thánh cho chúng nó trong các nước chúng nó đi đến. 17Vậy nên, hãy nói rằng: Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Ta sẽ nhóm các ngươi lại từ giữa các dân, sẽ thâu các ngươi đã bị tan tác, và ta sẽ ban đất Y-sơ-ra-ên cho các ngươi. 18Chúng nó sẽ đến đó, và sẽ trừ bỏ mọi vật đáng ghét và mọi sự gớm ghiếc của nó khỏi đó. 19Ta sẽ ban cho chúng nó một lòng đồng nhau, phú thần mới trong các ngươi; bỏ lòng đá khỏi xác thịt chúng nó, và sẽ cho chúng nó lòng thịt; 20để chúng nó noi theo lề luật ta, giữ và làm theo mạng lịnh ta. Chúng nó sẽ làm dân ta, và ta làm Ðức Chúa Trời chúng nó. 21Nhưng, những kẻ để lòng bước theo sự ham mê của vật đáng ghét và những sự gớm ghiếc, thì ta sẽ làm cho đường lối chúng nó đổ lại trên đầu chúng nó, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy. 22Bấy giờ, các chê-ru-bin sè cánh lên, và có các bánh xe ở bên nó; sự vinh hiển của Ðức Chúa Trời Y-sơ-ra-ên cũng ở trên chúng nó. 23Sự vinh hiển của Ðức Giê-hô-va dấy lên từ giữa thành, và đứng trên núi phía đông thành. 24Thần cất ta lên, và trong sự hiện thấy ta bị Thần của Ðức Chúa Trời đem đi trong Canh-đê, đến nơi những kẻ phu tù; sự hiện thấy đã hiện ra cho ta bèn lên khỏi ta. 25Bấy giờ ta thuật lại cho những kẻ phu tù mọi sự mà Ðức Giê-hô-va đã tỏ cho ta biết.
1Moreover the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me to the east gate of Yahweh’s house, which looks eastward: and see, at the door of the gate twenty-five men; and I saw in their midst Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people. 2He said to me, Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity, and who give wicked counsel in this city; 3who say, The time is not near to build houses: this is the cauldron, and we are the meat. 4Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, son of man. 5The Spirit of Yahweh fell on me, and he said to me, Speak, Thus says Yahweh: Thus you have said, house of Israel; for I know the things that come into your mind. 6You have multiplied your slain in this city, and you have filled its streets with the slain. 7Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Your slain whom you have laid in its midst, they are the meat, and this is the cauldron; but you shall be brought out of its midst. 8You have feared the sword; and I will bring the sword on you, says the Lord Yahweh. 9I will bring you out of its midst, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you. 10You shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 11This shall not be your cauldron, neither shall you be the meat in its midst; I will judge you in the border of Israel; 12and you shall know that I am Yahweh: for you have not walked in my statutes, neither have you executed my ordinances, but have done after the ordinances of the nations that are around you. 13When I prophesied, Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down on my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, “Ah Lord Yahweh! will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?” 14Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 15“Son of man, your brothers, even your brothers, the men of your relatives, and all the house of Israel, all of them, to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, ‘Go far away from Yahweh. This land has been given to us for a possession.’” 16Therefore say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Whereas I have removed them far off among the nations, and whereas I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them a sanctuary for a little while in the countries where they have come. 17Therefore say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. 18They shall come there, and they shall take away all the detestable things of it and all its abominations from there. 19I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh; 20that they may walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. 21But as for them whose heart walks after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will bring their way on their own heads, says the Lord Yahweh. 22Then the cherubim lifted up their wings, and the wheels were beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above. 23Yahweh’s glory went up from the midst of the city, and stood on the mountain which is on the east side of the city. 24The Spirit lifted me up, and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me. 25Then I spoke to them of the captivity all the things that Yahweh had shown me.
1Toen hief mij de Geest op, en bracht mij tot de Oostpoort van het huis des HEEREN, dewelke ziet oostwaarts; en ziet, aan de deur der poort waren vijf en twintig mannen, en in het midden van hen zag ik Jaazanja, den zoon van Azzur, en Pelatja, den zoon van Benaja, vorsten des volks. 2En Hij zeide tot mij: Mensenkind, deze zijn de mannen, die ongerechtigheid bedenken, en die kwaden raad raden in deze stad. 3Die zeggen: Men moet geen huizen nabij bouwen; deze stad zou de pot, en wij het vlees zijn. 4Daarom profeteer tegen hen; profeteer, o mensenkind! 5Zo viel dan de Geest des HEEREN op mij, en Hij zeide tot mij: Zeg: Zo zegt de HEERE: Alzo zegt gijlieden o huis Israels! want Ik weet elkeen der dingen, die in uw geest opklimmen. 6Gij hebt uw verslagenen in deze stad vermenigvuldigd, en gij hebt derzelver straten met de verslagenen vervuld. 7Daarom, zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Uw verslagenen, die gij in het midden derzelve nedergelegd hebt, die zijn dat vlees, en deze stad is de pot; maar ulieden zal Ik uit het midden derzelve doen uitgaan. 8Gijlieden hebt het zwaard gevreesd; en het zwaard zal Ik over u brengen, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 9Ook zal Ik ulieden uit het midden derzelve doen uitgaan, en Ik zal u overgeven in de hand der vreemden; en Ik zal recht onder u doen. 10Gij zult door het zwaard vallen; in de landpale Israels zal Ik u richten, en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 11Deze stad zal ulieden niet tot een pot zijn, en gij zult in het midden derzelve niet tot vlees zijn; in de landpale Israels zal Ik u richten. 12En gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, omdat gij in Mijn inzettingen niet gewandeld, en Mijn rechten niet gedaan hebt, maar naar de rechten der heidenen, die rondom u zijn, gedaan hebt. 13Het geschiedde nu, als ik profeteerde, dat Pelatja, de zoon van Benaja, stierf. Toen viel ik neder op mijn aangezicht, en riep met luider stem; en zeide: Ach, Heere HEERE! zult Gij gans een voleinding maken met het overblijfsel van Israel? 14Toen geschiedde het woord des HEEREN tot mij, zeggende: 15Mensenkind, het zijn uw broederen, uw broederen, de mannen uwer maagschap, en het ganse huis Israels, ja, dat ganse, tot welke de inwoners van Jeruzalem gezegd hebben: Maakt u verre af van den HEERE, ditzelve land is ons tot een erfbezitting gegeven. 16Daarom zeg: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Hoewel Ik hen verre onder de heidenen weggedaan heb, en hoewel Ik hen in de landen verstrooid heb, nochtans zal Ik hun een weinig tijds tot een heiligdom zijn, in de landen, waarin zij gekomen zijn. 17Daarom zeg: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ja, Ik zal ulieden vergaderen uit de volken, en Ik zal u verzamelen uit de landen, waarin gij verstrooid zijt, en Ik zal u het land Israels geven. 18En zij zullen daarhenen komen, en al deszelfs verfoeiselen en al deszelfs gruwelen van daar wegdoen. 19En Ik zal hun enerlei hart geven, en zal een nieuwen geest in het binnenste van u geven; en Ik zal het stenen hart uit hun vlees wegnemen, en zal hun een vlesen hart geven; 20Opdat zij wandelen in Mijn inzettingen, en Mijn rechten bewaren, en dezelve doen; en zij zullen Mij tot een volk zijn, en Ik zal hun tot een God zijn. 21Maar welker hart het hart hunner verfoeiselen en hunner gruwelen nawandelt, derzelver weg zal Ik op hun hoofd geven, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 22Toen hieven de cherubs hun vleugelen op, en de raderen tegenover hen; en de heerlijkheid des Gods van Israel was over hen van boven. 23En de heerlijkheid des HEEREN rees op van het midden der stad, en stond op den berg, die tegen het oosten der stad is. 24Daarna nam mij de Geest op, en bracht mij in gezicht door den Geest Gods in Chaldea tot de gevankelijk weggevoerden; en het gezicht, dat ik gezien had, voer van mij op. 25En ik sprak tot de gevankelijk weggevoerden al de woorden des HEEREN, die Hij mij had doen zien.
