1Năm thứ mười một, ngày mồng một đầu tháng, có lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng: 2Hỡi con người, Ty-rơ đã nói về Giê-ru-sa-lem rằng: Hay! hay! thành làm cửa của các dân, đã vỡ nát rồi! Nó đã trở về cùng ta; rày nó đã trở nên hoang vu, thì ta sẽ được đầy dẫy. 3Vậy nên, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán rằng: Hỡi Ty-rơ! Nầy, ta địch cùng mầy. Ta sẽ khiến nhiều nước dấy nghịch cùng mầy, như sóng biển dấy lên vậy. 4Chúng nó sẽ hủy phá những vách thành Ty-rơ, và Xô-đổ tháp của nó; ta sẽ cào bụi, khiến nó làm một vầng đá sạch láng. 5Nó sẽ làm một chỗ người ta phơi lưới ở giữa biển; vì Chúa Giê-hô-va phán rằng: Ta đã phán. Nó sẽ làm mồi của các nước. 6Các con gái nó ở đồng ruộng nó sẽ bị giết bằng gươm; và chúng nó sẽ biết rằng ta là Ðức Giê-hô-va. 7Vì Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Nầy, ta sẽ đem Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa, vua Ba-by-lôn, là vua của các vua, với những ngựa, những xe, những lính kỵ, cùng đạo quân, và dân đông từ phương bắc đến nghịch cùng thành Ty-rơ. 8Người sẽ dùng gươm giết các con gái của mầy ngoài đồng ruộng, sẽ lập đồn đắp lũy, và dấy cái thuẫn lên nghịch cùng mầy. 9Người sẽ đặt máy phá vách thành, và dùng búa phá các tháp mầy. 10Ngựa của người nhiều lắm đến nỗi bụi đất che mầy đi. Các vách thành mầy rúng động vì tiếng của lính kỵ, của xe chở đồ, và của xe binh, khi kẻ nghịch vào bởi các cửa mầy, như vào trong một thành đã bị thua. 11Người sẽ dẵm vó ngựa trên các đường phố mầy; người sẽ giết dân mầy bằng gươm, và những trụ của sức mạnh mầy sẽ bị ném xuống đất. 12Ðoạn, quân nghịch mầy sẽ lấy của báu mầy, cướp hàng hóa mầy, phá đổ vách thành mầy; chúng nó sẽ phá đền đài mầy, và quăng những đá, gỗ, và bụi đất của mầy dưới nước. 13Ta sẽ làm cho dứt tiếng hát của mầy, và người ta sẽ không còn nghe tiếng đờn cầm của mầy nữa. 14Ta sẽ khiến mầy nên vầng đá sạch láng; mầy sẽ nên một chỗ người ta phơi lưới, và không được cất dựng lại nữa; vì ta là Ðức Giê-hô-va đã phán, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy. 15Chúa Giê-hô-va phán cùng thành Ty-rơ rằng: Nghe tiếng mầy đổ xuống, kẻ bị thương rên siếc, sự giết lát làm ra giữa mầy, các cù lao nghe vậy, há chẳng rúng động sao? 16Hết thảy các quan trưởng miền biển điều xuống khỏi ngai mình; cổi áo chầu ra, và lột bỏ những áo thêu. Họ như là mang lấy sự run rẩy và ngồi xuống đất. Họ sẽ sợ sệt luôn, và lấy làm lạ vì cớ mầy. 17Họ sẽ vì mầy hát bài ca thương, mà nói cùng mầy rằng: Hỡi thành có tiếng, vững bền ở giữa biển, là chỗ người đi biển ở; nó với dân cư nó làm cho hết thảy người ở đó khiếp sợ, mầy bị hủy phá là dường nào! 18Bây giờ các cù lao sẽ run rẩy nơi ngày mầy đổ nát, và các cù lao trong biển sẽ kinh khiếp về sự diệt mất của mầy! 19Thật thế, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Khi ta sẽ làm cho mầy ra thành hoang vu, như những thành không có dân ở; khi ta sẽ khiến sóng của vực sâu phủ lên trên mầy, và các dòng nước lớn che lấp mầy, 20bấy giờ ta sẽ khiến mầy với những kẻ đã xuống hố đến cùng dân đời xưa. Ta sẽ khiến mầy ở trong những nơi rất thấp của đất, trong những chỗ hoang vu từ đời xưa, với những kẻ đã xuống hố, hầu cho mầy không có dân ở nữa; song ta sẽ đặt vinh hiển trong đất người sống. 21Ta sẽ dùng mầy làm một sự kinh khiếp. Mầy sẽ không còn nữa; và dầu người ta tìm mầy, sẽ không hề thấy mầy nữa, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy.
1In the eleventh year, in the first of the month, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2Son of man, because Tyre has said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken: the gate of the peoples; she is turned to me; I shall be replenished, now that she is laid waste: 3therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, Behold, I am against you, Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against you, as the sea causes its waves to come up. 4They shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her a bare rock. 5She shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea; for I have spoken it, says the Lord Yahweh; and she shall become a plunder to the nations. 6Her daughters who are in the field shall be slain with the sword: and they shall know that I am Yahweh. 7For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will bring on Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and a company, and many people. 8He shall kill your daughters in the field with the sword; and he shall make forts against you, and cast up a mound against you, and raise up the buckler against you. 9He shall set his battering engines against your walls, and with his axes he shall break down your towers. 10By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover you: your walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wagons, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into your gates, as men enter into a city in which is made a breach. 11With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all your streets; he shall kill your people with the sword; and the pillars of your strength shall go down to the ground. 12They shall make a plunder of your riches, and make a prey of your merchandise; and they shall break down your walls, and destroy your pleasant houses; and they shall lay your stones and your timber and your dust in the midst of the waters. 13I will cause the noise of your songs to cease; and the sound of your harps shall be no more heard. 14I will make you a bare rock; you shall be a place for the spreading of nets; you shall be built no more: for I Yahweh have spoken it, says the Lord Yahweh. 15Thus says the Lord Yahweh to Tyre: shall not the islands shake at the sound of your fall, when the wounded groan, when the slaughter is made in your midst? 16Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay aside their robes, and strip off their embroidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit on the ground, and shall tremble every moment, and be astonished at you. 17They shall take up a lamentation over you, and tell you, How you are destroyed, who were inhabited by seafaring men, the renowned city, who was strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, who caused their terror to be on all who lived there! 18Now shall the islands tremble in the day of your fall; yes, the islands that are in the sea shall be dismayed at your departure. 19For thus says the Lord Yahweh: When I shall make you a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep on you, and the great waters shall cover you; 20then I will bring you down with those who descend into the pit, to the people of old time, and will make you to dwell in the lower parts of the earth, in the places that are desolate of old, with those who go down to the pit, that you be not inhabited; and I will set glory in the land of the living: 21I will make you a terror, and you shall no more have any being; though you are sought for, yet you will never be found again, says the Lord Yahweh.
1En het gebeurde in het elfde jaar, op den eersten der maand, dat des HEEREN woord tot mij geschiedde, zeggende: 2Mensenkind! daarom dat Tyrus van Jeruzalem gezegd heeft: Heah! zij is verbroken, de poort der volken; zij is tot mij omgewend; ik zal vervuld worden, zij is verwoest! 3Daarom, alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ziet, Ik wil aan u, o Tyrus! en Ik zal vele heidenen tegen u doen opkomen, alsof Ik de zee met haar golven deed opkomen. 4Die zullen de muren van Tyrus verderven, en haar torens afbreken; ja, Ik zal haar stof van haar wegvagen, en zal haar tot een gladde steenrots maken. 5Zij zal in het midden der zee zijn tot uitspreiding van netten; want Ik heb het gesproken, spreekt de Heere HEERE; en zij zal den heidenen ten roof worden. 6En haar dochteren, die in het veld zijn, zullen met het zwaard gedood worden; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 7Want alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ziet, Ik zal Nebukadrezar, den koning van Babel, den koning der koningen, van het noorden, tegen Tyrus brengen, met paarden en met wagenen, en met ruiteren, en krijgs vergaderingen, en veel volks. 8Hij zal uw dochteren op het veld met het zwaard doden, en hij zal sterkten tegen u maken, en een wal tegen u opwerpen, en rondassen tegen u opheffen. 9En hij zal muurbrekers tegen uw muren stellen, en uw torens met zijn zwaarden afbreken. 10Vanwege de menigte zijner paarden zal u derzelver stof bedekken; uw muren zullen beven vanwege het gedruis der ruiteren, en wielen, en wagenen, als hij door uw poorten zal intrekken, gelijk door de ingangen ener doorbrokene stad. 11Hij zal met de hoeven zijner paarden al uw straten vertreden; uw volk zal hij met het zwaard doden, en elk een van de kolommen uwer sterkten zal ter aarde nederstorten. 12En zij zullen uw vermogen roven, en uw koopmanswaren plunderen, en uw muren afbreken, en uw kostelijke huizen omwerpen; en uw stenen, en uw hout, en uw stof zullen zij in het midden der wateren werpen. 13Zo zal Ik het gedeun uwer liederen doen ophouden, en het geklank uwer harpen zal niet meer gehoord worden. 14Ja, Ik zal u maken tot een gladde steenrots; gij zult zijn tot uitspreiding der netten, gij zult niet meer gebouwd worden; want Ik, de HEERE, heb het gesproken, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 15Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE tot Tyrus: Zullen niet de eilanden van het geluid uws vals beven, als de dodelijk verwonde zal kermen, wanneer men in het midden van u schrikkelijk zal moorden? 16En alle vorsten der zee zullen afdalen van hun tronen, en hun mantels van zich doen, en hun gestikte klederen uittrekken; met sidderingen zullen zij bekleed worden, op de aarde zullen zij nederzitten, en te elken ogenblik sidderen, en over u ontzet zijn; 17En zij zullen een klaaglied over u opheffen, en tot u zeggen: Hoe zijt gij uit de zeeen vergaan, gij welbewoonde, gij beroemde stad, die sterk geweest is ter zee, zij en haar inwoners; die hunlieder schrik gaven aan allen, die in haar woonden! 18Nu zullen de eilanden sidderen ten dage uws vals; ja, de eilanden, die in de zee zijn, zullen beroerd worden vanwege uw uitgang. 19Want alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Als Ik u zal stellen tot een verwoeste stad, gelijk de steden, die niet bewoond worden; als Ik een afgrond over u zal doen opkomen, en de grote wateren u zullen overdekken, 20Dan zal Ik u doen nederdalen met degenen die in den kuil nederdalen tot het oude volk, en zal u doen nederliggen in de onderste plaatsen der aarde, in de woeste plaatsen, die van ouds geweest zijn, met degenen, die in den kuil nederdalen, opdat gij niet bewoond wordt; en Ik zal het sieraad herstellen in het land der levenden. 21Maar u zal Ik tot een groten schrik stellen, en gij zult er niet meer zijn; als gij gezocht wordt, zo zult gij niet meer gevonden worden in eeuwigheid, spreekt de Heere HEERE.
