1Lại có lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng: 2Hỡi con người, hãy nói cùng vua Ty-rơ rằng: Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Vì lòng ngươi đã tự cao, và ngươi nói rằng: Ta là một vì thần, ta ngồi trên ngai Ðức Chúa Trời, ở giữa các biển; dầu lòng ngươi tự cao lên bằng lòng Ðức Chúa Trời, ngươi còn là loài người, không phán là Ðức Chúa Trời. 3Nầy, ngươi khôn hơn Ða-ni-ên; chẳng có sự mầu nhiệm nào giấu kín khỏi ngươi! 4Ngươi đã được giàu có bởi sự khôn ngoan và thông sáng của mình; đã thâu chứa vàng bạc trong kho tàng ngươi; 5bởi sự thông thạo và sự buôn bán mình, thì ngươi đã làm cho sự giàu có mình tấn tới. Vậy lòng ngươi đã đem lên vì cớ sự giàu có của ngươi. 6Vậy nên, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Vì lòng ngươi tự cao lên lười biếng lòng Ðức Chúa Trời, 7cho nên, nầy, ta sẽ khiến những người ngoại quốc hung bạo hơn hết trong các dân, nổi dậy nghịch cùng ngươi; chúng nó sẽ rút gươm nghịch cùng sự khôn sáng hoa mĩ ngươi, và làm ô uế sự vinh hiển ngươi. 8Chúng nó sẽ xô ngươi xuống hầm hố và ngươi sẽ chết trong lòng biển, như người bị giết. 9Trước mặt kẻ giết ngươi, ngươi còn dám nói rằng: Ta là Ðức Chúa Trời chăng? Khi ấy ngươi ở trong tay của kẻ làm ngươi bị thương, thì ngươi là loài người, chẳng phải là Ðức Chúa Trời. 10Ngươi sẽ chết bởi tay người ngoại quốc như những kẻ chưa chịu cắt bì. Chúa Giê-hô-va phán rằng: Ấy chính ta đã nói như vậy. 11Lại có lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta như vầy: 12Hỡi con người, hãy làm một bài ca thương về vua Ty-rơ và nói cùng người rằng: Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Ngươi gồm đủ tất cả, đầy sự khôn ngoan, tốt đẹp trọn vẹn. 13Ngươi vốn ở trong Ê-đen, là vườn của Ðức Chúa Trời. Ngươi đã có đầy mình mọi thứ ngọc báu, là ngọc mã não, ngọc vàng lợt, ngọc kim cương, ngọc thủy thương, ngọc sắc biếc, ngọc bích, ngọc sắc chàm, ngọc sắc xanh, ngọc thông hành, cùng vàng nữa. Nghề làm ra trống cơm ống sáo thuộc về ngươi; từ ngày ngươi mới được dựng nên đã sắm sẵn rồi. 14Ngươi là một chê-ru-bin được xức dầu đương che phủ; ta đã lập ngươi lên trên hòn núi thánh của Ðức Chúa Trời; ngươi đã đi dạo giữa các hòn ngọc sáng như lửa. 15Ðường lối ngươi trọn vẹn từ ngày ngươi được dựng nên, cho đến lúc thấy sự gian ác trong ngươi. 16Nhơn ngươi buôn bán thạnh lợi, lòng ngươi đầy sự hung dữ, và ngươi đã phạm tội; vậy ta đã xô ngươi như là vật ô uế xuống khỏi núi Ðức Chúa Trời; hỡi chê-ru-bin che phủ kia, ta diệt ngươi giữa các hòn ngọc sáng như lửa! 17Lòng ngươi đã kiêu ngạo vì sự đẹp ngươi, và sự vinh hiển của ngươi làm cho ngươi làm hư khôn ngoan mình. Ta đã xô ngươi xuống đất, đặt ngươi trước mặt các vua, cho họ xem thấy. 18Ngươi đã làm ô uế nơi thánh ngươi bởi tội ác ngươi nhiều quá và bởi sự buôn bán ngươi không công bình; ta đã khiến lửa ra từ giữa ngươi; nó đã thiêu nuốt ngươi, và ta đã làm cho ngươi trở nên tro trên đất, trước mặt mọi kẻ xem thấy. 19Hết thảy những kẻ biết ngươi trong các dân sẽ sững sờ về ngươi. Kìa, ngươi đã trở nên một cớ kinh khiếp, đời đời ngươi sẽ không còn nữa. 20Có lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng: 21Hỡi con người, hãy xây mặt về phía Si-đôn, và nói tiên tri nghịch cùng nó. 22Ngươi khá nói rằng: Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Hỡi Si-đôn, nầy, ta nghịch cùng mầy; ta muốn làm sáng danh ta ở giữa mầy. Chúng nó sẽ biết ta là Ðức Giê-hô-va, khi ta sẽ làm sự phán xét và tỏ mình ra thánh trong nó. 23Ta sẽ sai ôn dịch đến giữa nó, và sẽ có máu trong các đường phố nó. Những kẻ bị thương sẽ ngã xuống giữa nó, vì gươm sẽ đổ trên nó tư bề; và chúng nó sẽ biết rằng ta là Ðức Giê-hô-va. 24Vừa lúc ấy, sẽ không có chà chuôm hay châm chích, gai gốc hay đau đớn cho nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên, trong những kẻ ở chung quanh dân ấy, và đãi dân ấy cách khinh dể. Bấy giờ chúng nó sẽ biết ta là Chúa Giê-hô-va. 25Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Khi ta đã nhóm nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên lại từ giữa các dân mà chúng nó đã bị tan tác trong đó, và ta đã tỏ mình ra thánh giữa chúng nó trước mắt các dân, thì chúng nó sẽ ở trong đất mình mà ta đã ban cho tôi tớ ta là Gia-cốp. 26Chúng nó sẽ ở đó yên ổn, sẽ cất nhà và trồng vườn nho. Chúng nó sẽ ở đó yên ổn, khi ta đã làm sự phán xét ta nghịch cùng những kẻ ở chung quanh chúng nó, là kẻ đãi chúng nó cách khinh dể; và chúng nó sẽ biết rằng ta là Giê-hô-va Ðức Chúa Trời mình.
1Yahweh’s word came again to me, saying, 2Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet you are man, and not God, though you set your heart as the heart of God— 3behold, you are wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that is hidden from you; 4by your wisdom and by your understanding you have gotten yourself riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasures; 5by your great wisdom and by your traffic you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches— 6therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have set your heart as the heart of God, 7therefore, behold, I will bring strangers on you, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, and they shall defile your brightness. 8They shall bring you down to the pit; and you shall die the death of those who are slain, in the heart of the seas. 9Will you yet say before him who kills you, I am God? but you are man, and not God, in the hand of him who wounds you. 10You shall die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, says the Lord Yahweh. 11Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 12Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and tell him, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, emerald, chrysolite, onyx, jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and beryl. Gold work of tambourines and of pipes was in you. In the day that you were created they were prepared. 14You were the anointed cherub who covers: and I set you, so that you were on the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you. 16By the abundance of your traffic they filled your midst with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I have cast you as profane out of the mountain of God; and I have destroyed you, covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I have cast you to the ground; I have laid you before kings, that they may see you. 18By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your traffic, you have profaned your sanctuaries; therefore have I brought out a fire from your midst; it has devoured you, and I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all those who see you. 19All those who know you among the peoples shall be astonished at you: you have become a terror, and you shall nevermore have any being. 20Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 21Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, and prophesy against it, 22and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against you, Sidon; and I will be glorified in your midst; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her. 23For I will send pestilence into her, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her, with the sword on her on every side; and they shall know that I am Yahweh. 24There shall be no more a pricking brier to the house of Israel, nor a hurting thorn of any that are around them, that scorned them; and they shall know that I am the Lord Yahweh. 25Thus says the Lord Yahweh: When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the nations, then shall they dwell in their own land which I gave to my servant Jacob. 26They shall dwell securely therein; yes, they shall build houses, and plant vineyards, and shall dwell securely, when I have executed judgments on all those who do them despite all around them; and they shall know that I am Yahweh their God.
1Voorts geschiedde des HEEREN woord tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind! zeg tot den vorst van Tyrus: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat uw hart zich verheft en zegt: Ik ben God, ik zit in Godes stoel, in het hart der zeeen! daar gij een mens en geen God zijt, stelt gij nochtans uw hart, als Gods hart. 3Zie, gij zijt wijzer dan Daniel; zij hebben niets toegeslotens voor u verborgen. 4Door uw wijsheid en door uw verstand, hebt gij vermogen voor u verkregen; ja, gij hebt goud en zilver verkregen in uw schatten. 5Door de grootheid uwer wijsheid in uw koophandel hebt gij uw vermogen vermeerderd, en uw hart verheft zich vanwege uw vermogen. 6Daarom zegt de Heere HEERE alzo: Omdat gij uw hart gesteld hebt als Gods hart; 7Daarom zie, Ik zal vreemden over u brengen, de tirannigste der heidenen; die zullen hun zwaarden uittrekken over de schoonheid uwer wijsheid, en zullen uw glans ontheiligen. 8Ter groeve zullen zij u doen nederdalen; en gij zult sterven den dood eens verslagenen in het hart der zeeen. 9Zult gij dan enigszins, voor het aangezicht uws doodslagers, zeggen: Ik ben God? daar gij een mens zijt en geen God, in de hand desgenen, die u verslaat? 10Gij zult den dood der onbesnedenen sterven; door de hand der vreemden; want Ik heb het gesproken, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 11Wijders geschiedde des HEEREN woord tot mij, zeggende: 12Mensenkind! hef een klaaglied op over den koning van Tyrus, en zeg tot hem: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Gij verzegelaar der som, vol van wijsheid en volmaakt in schoonheid! 13Gij waart in Eden, Gods hof; alle kostelijk gesteente was uw deksel, sardisstenen, topazen en diamanten, turkooizen, sardonixstenen en jaspisstenen, saffieren, robijnen, en smaragden, en goud; het werk uwer trommelen en uwer pijpen was bij u; ten dage als gij geschapen werdt, waren zij bereid. 14Gij waart een gezalfde, overdekkende cherub; en Ik had u alzo gezet; gij waart op Gods heiligen berg; gij wandeldet in het midden der vurige stenen. 15Gij waart volkomen in uw wegen, van den dag af, dat gij geschapen zijt, totdat er ongerechtigheid in u gevonden is. 16Door de veelheid uws koophandels hebben zij het midden van u met geweld vervuld, en gij hebt gezondigd; daarom zal Ik u ontheiligen van Gods berg, en zal u, gij overdekkende cherub! verdoen uit het midden der vurige stenen! 17Uw hart verheft zich over uw schoonheid; gij hebt uw wijsheid bedorven, vanwege uw glans; Ik heb u op de aarde henengeworpen, Ik heb u voor het aangezicht der koningen gesteld, om op u te zien. 18Vanwege de veelheid uwer ongerechtigheden, door het onrecht uws koophandels, hebt gij uw heiligdommen ontheiligd; daarom heb Ik een vuur uit het midden van u doen voortkomen, dat u heeft verteerd, en Ik heb u gemaakt tot as op de aarde, voor de ogen van al degenen, die u zien. 19Allen, die u kennen onder de volken, zijn over u ontzet; gij zijt een grote schrik geworden, en zult er niet meer zijn tot in eeuwigheid. 20Wijders geschiedde des HEEREN woord tot mij, zeggende: 21Mensenkind! zet uw aangezicht tegen Sidon, en profeteer tegen haar, 22En zeg: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Zie, Ik wil aan u, o Sidon! en zal in het midden van u verheerlijkt worden; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, als Ik gerichten in haar zal hebben geoefend, en in haar geheiligd zal zijn. 23Want Ik zal de pestilentie in haar zenden, en bloed op haar straten, en de verslagenen zullen vallen in het midden van haar, door het zwaard, dat tegen haar zal zijn van rondom; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 24En het huis Israels zal geen smartenden doorn noch wee doende distel meer hebben, van allen, die rondom hen zijn, die henlieden beroven; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de Heere HEERE ben. 25Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Als Ik het huis Israels zal vergaderd hebben uit de volken, onder dewelke zij verstrooid zijn, en Ik onder hen voor de ogen der heidenen zal geheiligd zijn, dan zullen zij in hun land wonen, dat Ik aan Mijn knecht, aan Jakob, gegeven heb. 26En zij zullen daarin zeker wonen, en huizen bouwen, en wijngaarden planten; ja, zij zullen zeker wonen; als Ik gerichten zal hebben geoefend tegen allen, die henlieden beroofd hebben, van degenen, die rondom hen zijn; en zij zullen weten dat Ik, de HEERE, hunlieder God ben.
