Psaumes 98

1Psaume. Chantez à l’Éternel un cantique nouveau ! Car il a fait des prodiges. Sa droite et son bras saint lui sont venus en aide. 2L’Éternel a manifesté son salut, Il a révélé sa justice aux yeux des nations. 3Il s’est souvenu de sa bonté et de sa fidélité envers la maison d’Israël, Toutes les extrémités de la terre ont vu le salut de notre Dieu. 4Poussez vers l’Éternel des cris de joie, Vous tous, habitants de la terre ! Faites éclater votre allégresse, et chantez ! 5Chantez à l’Éternel avec la harpe ; Avec la harpe chantez des cantiques ! 6Avec les trompettes et au son du cor, Poussez des cris de joie devant le roi, l’Éternel ! 7Que la mer retentisse avec tout ce qu’elle contient, Que le monde et ceux qui l’habitent éclatent d’allégresse, 8Que les fleuves battent des mains, Que toutes les montagnes poussent des cris de joie, 9Devant l’Éternel ! Car il vient pour juger la terre ; Il jugera le monde avec justice, Et les peuples avec équité.

1Sing to Yahweh a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand, and his holy arm, have worked salvation for him. 2Yahweh has made known his salvation. He has openly shown his righteousness in the sight of the nations. 3He has remembered his loving kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. 4Make a joyful noise to Yahweh, all the earth! Burst out and sing for joy, yes, sing praises! 5Sing praises to Yahweh with the harp, with the harp and the voice of melody. 6With trumpets and sound of the ram’s horn, make a joyful noise before the King, Yahweh. 7Let the sea roar with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein. 8Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing for joy together. 9Let them sing before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

Zingt den HEERE een nieuw lied; want Hij heeft wonderen gedaan; Zijn rechterhand, en de arm Zijner heiligheid, heeft Hem heil gegeven. 2De HEERE heeft Zijn heil bekend gemaakt; Hij heeft Zijn gerechtigheid geopenbaard voor de ogen der heidenen. 3Hij is gedachtig geweest Zijner goedertierenheid, en Zijner waarheid aan het huis Israels; en al de einden der aarde hebben gezien het heil onzes Gods. 4Juicht den HEERE, gij ganse aarde! roept uit van vreugde, en zingt vrolijk, en psalmzingt. 5Psalmzingt den HEERE met de harp, met de harp en met de stem des gezangs, 6Met trompetten en bazuinengeklank; juicht voor het aangezicht des Konings, des HEEREN. 7De zee bruise met haar volheid, de wereld met degenen, die daarin wonen. 8Dat de rivieren met de handen klappen, dat tegelijk de gebergten vreugde bedrijven, 9Voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, want Hij komt, om de aarde te richten; Hij zal de wereld richten in gerechtigheid, en de volken in alle rechtmatigheid.
