1Sa Juda ay kilala ang Dios: ang kaniyang pangalan ay dakila sa Israel. 2Nasa Salem naman ang kaniyang tabernakulo, at ang kaniyang dakong tahanan ay sa Sion. 3Doo'y binali niya ang mga pana ng busog; at kalasag, at ang tabak, at ang pagbabaka. Let all of his neighbors bring presents to him who is to be feared. 12He will cut off the spirit of princes. He is feared by the kings of the earth.

Sela. 11Want de grimmigheid des mensen zal U loffelijk maken; het overblijfsel der grimmigheden zult Gij opbinden. 12Doet geloften en betaalt ze den HEERE, uw God, gij allen, die rondom Hem zijt! Laat hen Dien, Die te vrezen is, geschenken brengen; Die den geest der vorsten als druiven afsnijdt; Die den koningen der aarde vreselijk is.
