Pass it on
Thread is free. You can give, for someone else.
We ask nothing for Thread itself. If you would like to give, it all goes to a good cause that puts the gospel and love for others into practice.
Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:7
Thread stays free
No subscription, no ads, no paywall. Not even if you give nothing. Thread is paid for by the one who makes it.
All to the good cause
Thread keeps nothing of any gift. Only the small cost of the payment itself comes off.
Open about every euro
Here you see how much has been given together and where it went. No small print.
We're still choosing a good cause
Giving opens once we've chosen a cause we truly trust. Until then, you can already see alongside how it will work.
What we look for
- Works from the Christian faith, for example around Bibles, children or poverty.
- Helps people in practice, near or far.
- Is open about where the money goes.
- Is officially recognised, so gifts are in order for tax too.
This is how giving will work, as soon as we have chosen a good cause.
