Isaia 12

1In quel giorno, dirai: "Io ti celebro, o Eterno! Poiché, dopo esserti adirato con me, l’ira tua s’è calmata, e tu m’hai consolato. 2Ecco, Iddio è la mia salvezza, io avrò fiducia, e non avrò paura di nulla; poiché l’Eterno, l’Eterno è la mia forza ed il mio cantico, ed egli è stato la mia salvezza". 3Voi attingerete con gioia l’acqua dalle fonti della salvezza, 4e in quel giorno direte: "Celebrate l’Eterno, invocate il suo nome, fate conoscere le sue opere tra i popoli, proclamate che il suo nome è eccelso! 5Salmeggiate all’Eterno, perché ha fatte cose magnifiche; siano esse note a tutta la terra! 6Manda de’ gridi, de’ gridi di gioia, o abitatrice di Sion! poiché il Santo d’Israele è grande in mezzo a te".

1In that day you will say, “I will give thanks to you, Yahweh; for though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you comfort me. 2Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Yah, Yahweh, is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation.” 3Therefore with joy you will draw water out of the wells of salvation. 4In that day you will say, “Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name. Declare his doings among the peoples. Proclaim that his name is exalted! 5Sing to Yahweh, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth! 6Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion; for the Holy One of Israel is great in your midst!”

1En te dienzelfden dage zult gij zeggen: Ik dank U, HEERE! dat Gij toornig op mij geweest zijt, maar Uw toorn is afgekeerd, en Gij troost mij. 2Ziet, God is mijn Heil, ik zal vertrouwen en niet vrezen; want de Heere HEERE is mijn Sterkte en mijn Psalm, en Hij is mij tot Heil geworden. 3En gijlieden zult water scheppen met vreugde uit de fonteinen des heils; 4En zult te dienzelfden dage zeggen: Dankt den HEERE, roept Zijn Naam aan, maakt Zijn daden bekend onder de volken! vermeldt, dat Zijn Naam verhoogd is. 5Psalmzingt den HEERE, want Hij heeft heerlijk dingen gedaan; zulks zij bekend op den gansen aardbodem. 6Juich en zing vrolijk, gij inwoneres van Sion! want de Heilige Israels is groot in het midden van u.
