Ésaïe 12

1Tu diras en ce jour-là : Je te loue, ô Éternel ! Car tu as été irrité contre moi, Ta colère s’est apaisée, et tu m’as consolé. 2Voici, Dieu est ma délivrance, Je serai plein de confiance, et je ne craindrai rien ; Car l’Éternel, l’Éternel est ma force et le sujet de mes louanges ; C’est lui qui m’a sauvé. 3Vous puiserez de l’eau avec joie Aux sources du salut, 4Et vous direz en ce jour-là : Louez l’Éternel, invoquez son nom, Publiez ses œuvres parmi les peuples, Rappelez la grandeur de son nom ! 5Célébrez l’Éternel, car il a fait des choses magnifiques : Qu’elles soient connues par toute la terre ! 6Pousse des cris de joie et d’allégresse, habitant de Sion ! Car il est grand au milieu de toi, le Saint d’Israël.

1In that day you will say, “I will give thanks to you, Yahweh; for though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you comfort me. 2Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Yah, Yahweh, is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation.” 3Therefore with joy you will draw water out of the wells of salvation. 4In that day you will say, “Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name. Declare his doings among the peoples. Proclaim that his name is exalted! 5Sing to Yahweh, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth! 6Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion; for the Holy One of Israel is great in your midst!”

1En te dienzelfden dage zult gij zeggen: Ik dank U, HEERE! dat Gij toornig op mij geweest zijt, maar Uw toorn is afgekeerd, en Gij troost mij. 2Ziet, God is mijn Heil, ik zal vertrouwen en niet vrezen; want de Heere HEERE is mijn Sterkte en mijn Psalm, en Hij is mij tot Heil geworden. 3En gijlieden zult water scheppen met vreugde uit de fonteinen des heils; 4En zult te dienzelfden dage zeggen: Dankt den HEERE, roept Zijn Naam aan, maakt Zijn daden bekend onder de volken! vermeldt, dat Zijn Naam verhoogd is. 5Psalmzingt den HEERE, want Hij heeft heerlijk dingen gedaan; zulks zij bekend op den gansen aardbodem. 6Juich en zing vrolijk, gij inwoneres van Sion! want de Heilige Israels is groot in het midden van u.
