Salmos 147

1ALABAD á JAH, porque es bueno cantar salmos á nuestro Dios; porque suave y hermosa es la alabanza. 2Jehová edifica á Jerusalem; á los echados de Israel recogerá. 3El sana á los quebrantados de corazón, y liga sus heridas. 4El cuenta el número de las estrellas; á todas ellas llama por sus nombres. 5Grande es el Señor nuestro, y de mucha potencia; y de su entendimiento no hay número. 6Jehová ensalza á los humildes; humilla los impíos hasta la tierra. 7Cantad á Jehová con alabanza, cantad con arpa á nuestro Dios. 8El es el que cubre los cielos de nubes, el que prepara la lluvia para la tierra, el que hace á los montes producir hierba. 9El da á la bestia su mantenimiento, y á los hijos de los cuervos que claman. 10No toma contentamiento en la fortaleza del caballo, ni se complace en las piernas del hombre. 11Complácese Jehová en los que le temen, y en los que esperan en su misericordia. 12Alaba á Jehová, Jerusalem; alaba á tu Dios, Sión. 13Porque fortificó los cerrojos de tus puertas; bendijo á tus hijos dentro de ti. 14El pone en tu término la paz; te hará saciar de grosura de trigo. 15El envía su palabra á la tierra; muy presto corre su palabra. 16El da la nieve como lana, derrama la escarcha como ceniza. 17El echa su hielo como pedazos: delante de su frío ¿quién estará? 18Enviará su palabra, y los derretirá: soplará su viento, y fluirán las aguas. 19El denuncia sus palabras á Jacob, sus estatutos y sus juicios á Israel. 20No ha hecho esto con toda gente; y no conocieron sus juicios. Aleluya.

1Praise Yah, for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to praise him. 2Yahweh builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel. 3He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. 4He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names. 5Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite. 6Yahweh upholds the humble. He brings the wicked down to the ground. 7Sing to Yahweh with thanksgiving. Sing praises on the harp to our God, 8who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass grow on the mountains. 9He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call. 10He doesn’t delight in the strength of the horse. He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man. 11Yahweh takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness. 12Praise Yahweh, Jerusalem! Praise your God, Zion! 13For he has strengthened the bars of your gates. He has blessed your children within you. 14He makes peace in your borders. He fills you with the finest of the wheat. 15He sends out his commandment to the earth. His word runs very swiftly. 16He gives snow like wool, and scatters frost like ashes. 17He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can stand before his cold? 18He sends out his word, and melts them. He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow. 19He shows his word to Jacob; his statutes and his ordinances to Israel. 20He has not done this for just any nation. They don’t know his ordinances. Praise Yah!

1Looft den HEERE, want onzen God te psalmzingen is goed, dewijl Hij liefelijk is; de lof is betamelijk. 2De HEERE bouwt Jeruzalem; Hij vergadert Israels verdrevenen. 3Hij geneest de gebrokenen van hart, en Hij verbindt hen in hun smarten. 4Hij telt het getal der sterren; Hij noemt ze allen bij namen. 5Onze Heere is groot en van veel kracht; Zijns verstands is geen getal. 6De HEERE houdt de zachtmoedigen staande; de goddelozen vernedert Hij, tot de aarde toe. 7Zingt den HEERE bij beurte met dankzegging; psalmzingt onzen God op de harp. 8Die de hemelen met wolken bedekt, Die voor de aarde regen bereidt; Die het gras op de bergen doet uitspruiten; 9Die het vee zijn voeder geeft; aan de jonge raven, als zij roepen. 10Hij heeft geen lust aan de sterkte des paards; Hij heeft geen welgevallen aan de benen des mans. 11De HEERE heeft een welgevallen aan hen, die Hem vrezen, die op Zijn goedertierenheid hopen. 12O Jeruzalem! roem den HEERE; o Sion! loof uw God. 13Want Hij maakt de grendelen uwer poorten sterk; Hij zegent uw kinderen binnen in u. 14Die uw landpalen in vrede stelt; Hij verzadigt u met het vette der tarwe. 15Hij zendt Zijn bevel op aarde; Zijn woord loopt zeer snel. 16Hij geeft sneeuw als wol; Hij strooit den rijm als as. 17Hij werpt Zijn ijs heen als stukken; wie zou bestaan voor Zijn koude? 18Hij zendt Zijn woord, en doet ze smelten; Hij doet Zijn wind waaien, de wateren vloeien henen. 19Hij maakt Jakob Zijn woorden bekend, Israel Zijn inzettingen en Zijn rechten. 20Alzo heeft Hij geen volk gedaan; en Zijn rechten, die kennen zij niet.
