Salmos 109

1OH Dios de mi alabanza, no calles; 2Porque boca de impío y boca de engañador se han abierto sobre mí: han hablado de mí con lengua mentirosa, 3Y con palabras de odio me rodearon; y pelearon contra mí sin causa. 4En pago de mi amor me han sido adversarios: mas yo oraba. 5Y pusieron contra mí mal por bien, y odio por amor. 6Pon sobre él al impío: y Satán esté á su diestra. 7Cuando fuere juzgado, salga impío; y su oración sea para pecado. 8Sean sus días pocos: tome otro su oficio. 9Sean sus hijos huérfanos, y su mujer viuda. 10Y anden sus hijos vagabundos, y mendiguen; y procuren su pan lejos de sus desolados hogares. 11Enrede el acreedor todo lo que tiene, y extraños saqueen su trabajo. 12No tenga quien le haga misericordia; ni haya quien tenga compasión de sus huérfanos. 13Su posteridad sea talada; en segunda generación sea raído su nombre. 14Venga en memoria cerca de Jehová la maldad de sus padres, y el pecado de su madre no sea borrado. 15Estén siempre delante de Jehová, y él corte de la tierra su memoria. 16Por cuanto no se acordó de hacer misericordia, y persiguió al hombre afligido y menesteroso y quebrantado de corazón, para matarlo. 17Y amó la maldición, y vínole; y no quiso la bendición, y ella se alejó de él. 18Y vistióse de maldición como de su vestido, y entró como agua en sus entrañas, y como aceite en sus huesos. 19Séale como vestido con que se cubra, y en lugar de cinto con que se ciña siempre. 20Este sea el pago de parte de Jehová de los que me calumnian, y de los que hablan mal contra mi alma. 21Y tú, Jehová Señor, haz conmigo por amor de tu nombre: líbrame, porque tu misericordia es buena. 22Porque yo estoy afligido y necesitado; y mi corazón está herido dentro de mí. 23Voime como la sombra cuando declina; soy sacudido como langosta. 24Mis rodillas están debilitadas á causa del ayuno, y mi carne desfallecida por falta de gordura. 25Yo he sido para ellos objeto de oprobio; mirábanme, y meneaban su cabeza. 26Ayúdame, Jehová Dios mío: sálvame conforme á tu misericordia. 27Y entiendan que esta es tu mano; que tú, Jehová, has hecho esto. 28Maldigan ellos, y bendice tú: levántense, mas sean avergonzados, y regocíjese tu siervo. 29Sean vestidos de ignominia los que me calumnian; y sean cubiertos de su confusión como con manto. 30Yo alabaré á Jehová en gran manera con mi boca, y le loaré en medio de muchos. 31Porque él se pondrá á la diestra del pobre, para librar su alma de los que le juzgan.

1God of my praise, don’t remain silent, 2for they have opened the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit against me. They have spoken to me with a lying tongue. 3They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause. 4In return for my love, they are my adversaries; but I am in prayer. 5They have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love. 6Set a wicked man over him. Let an adversary stand at his right hand. 7When he is judged, let him come out guilty. Let his prayer be turned into sin. 8Let his days be few. Let another take his office. 9Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow. 10Let his children be wandering beggars. Let them be sought from their ruins. 11Let the creditor seize all that he has. Let strangers plunder the fruit of his labor. 12Let there be no one to extend kindness to him, neither let there be anyone to have pity on his fatherless children. 13Let his posterity be cut off. In the generation following let their name be blotted out. 14Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered by Yahweh. Don’t let the sin of his mother be blotted out. 15Let them be before Yahweh continually, that he may cut off their memory from the earth; 16because he didn’t remember to show kindness, but persecuted the poor and needy man, the broken in heart, to kill them. 17Yes, he loved cursing, and it came to him. He didn’t delight in blessing, and it was far from him. 18He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment. It came into his inward parts like water, like oil into his bones. 19Let it be to him as the clothing with which he covers himself, for the belt that is always around him. 20This is the reward of my adversaries from Yahweh, of those who speak evil against my soul. 21But deal with me, Yahweh the Lord, for your name’s sake, because your loving kindness is good, deliver me; 22for I am poor and needy. My heart is wounded within me. 23I fade away like an evening shadow. I am shaken off like a locust. 24My knees are weak through fasting. My body is thin and lacks fat. 25I have also become a reproach to them. When they see me, they shake their head. 26Help me, Yahweh, my God. Save me according to your loving kindness; 27that they may know that this is your hand; that you, Yahweh, have done it. 28They may curse, but you bless. When they arise, they will be shamed, but your servant shall rejoice. 29Let my adversaries be clothed with dishonor. Let them cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe. 30I will give great thanks to Yahweh with my mouth. Yes, I will praise him among the multitude. 31For he will stand at the right hand of the needy, to save him from those who judge his soul.

1Een psalm van David, voor den opperzangmeester. O God mijns lofs! zwijg niet. 2Want de mond des goddelozen en de mond des bedrogs zijn tegen mij opengedaan; zij hebben met mij gesproken met een valse tong. 3En met hatelijke woorden hebben zij mij omsingeld; ja, zij hebben mij bestreden zonder oorzaak. 4Voor mijn liefde, staan zij mij tegen; maar ik was steeds in het gebed. 5En zij hebben mij kwaad voor goed opgelegd, en haat voor mijn liefde. 6Stel een goddeloze over hem, en de satan sta aan zijn rechterhand. 7Als hij gericht wordt, zo ga hij schuldig uit, en zijn gebed zij tot zonde. 8Dat zijn dagen weinig zijn; een ander neme zijn ambt; 9Dat zijn kinderen wezen worden, en zijn vrouw weduwe. 10En dat zijn kinderen hier en daar omzwerven, en bedelen, en de nooddruft uit hun verwoeste plaatsen zoeken. 11Dat de schuldeiser aansla al wat hij heeft, en dat de vreemden zijn arbeid roven. 12Dat hij niemand hebbe, die weldadigheid over hem uitstrekke, en dat er niemand zij, die zijn wezen genadig zij. 13Dat zijn nakomelingen uitgeroeid worden; hun naam worde uitgedelgd in het andere geslacht. 14De ongerechtigheid zijner vaderen worde gedacht bij den HEERE, en de zonde zijner moeder worde niet uitgedelgd. 15Dat zij gedurig voor den HEERE zijn; en Hij roeie hun gedachtenis uit van de aarde. 16Omdat hij niet gedacht heeft weldadigheid te doen, maar heeft den ellendigen en den nooddruftigen man vervolgd, en den verslagene van hart, om hem te doden. 17Dewijl hij den vloek heeft liefgehad, dat die hem overkome, en geen lust gehad heeft tot den zegen, zo zij die verre van hem. 18En hij zij bekleed met den vloek, als met zijn kleed, en dat die ga tot in het binnenste van hem als het water, en als de olie in zijn beenderen. 19Die zij hem als een kleed, waarmede hij zich bedekt, en tot een gordel, waarmede hij zich steeds omgordt. 20Dit zij het werkloon mijner tegenstanders van den HEERE, en dergenen, die kwaad spreken tegen mijn ziel. 21Maar Gij, o HEERE Heere! maak het met mij om Uws Naams wil; dewijl Uw goedertierenheid goed is, verlos mij. 22Want ik ben ellendig en nooddruftig, en mijn hart is in het binnenste van mij doorwond. 23Ik ga heen gelijk een schaduw, wanneer zij zich neigt; ik worde omgedreven als een sprinkhaan. 24Mijn knieen struikelen van vasten, en mijn vlees is vermagerd, zodat er geen vet aan is. 25Nog ben ik hun een smaad; als zij mij zien, zo schudden zij hun hoofd. 26Help mij, HEERE, mijn God! verlos mij naar Uw goedertierenheid. 27Opdat zij weten, dat dit Uw hand is, dat Gij het, HEERE! gedaan hebt. 28Laat hen vloeken, maar zegen Gij; laat hen zich opmaken, maar dat zij beschaamd worden; doch dat zich Uw knecht verblijde. 29Laat mijn tegenstanders met schande bekleed worden, en dat zij met hun beschaamdheid zich bedekken, als met een mantel. 30Ik zal den HEERE met mijn mond zeer loven, en in het midden van velen zal ik Hem prijzen. 31Want Hij zal den nooddruftige ter rechterhand staan, om hem te verlossen van degenen, die zijn ziel veroordelen.
