1La seconda parte tirata a sorte toccò a Simeone, alla tribù dei figliuoli di Simeone secondo le loro famiglie. La loro eredità era in mezzo all’eredità de’ figliuoli di Giuda. 2Ebbero nella loro eredità: Beer-Sceba, Sceba, Molada, Hatsar-Shual, 3Bala, Atsem, Eltolad, Bethul, 4Horma, Tsiklag, 5Beth-Mareaboth, Hatsar-Susa, 6Beth-Lebaoth e Sharuchen: tredici città e i loro villaggi; 7Ain, Rimmon, Ether e Ashan: quattro città e i loro villaggi; 8e tutti i villaggi che stavano attorno a queste città, fino a Baalath-Beer, che è la Rama del sud. Tale fu l’eredità della tribù de’ figliuoli di Simeone, secondo le loro famiglie. 9L’eredità dei figliuoli di Simeone fu tolta dalla parte de’ figliuoli di Giuda, perché la parte de’ figliuoli di Giuda era troppo grande per loro; ond’è che i figliuoli di Simeone ebbero la loro eredità in mezzo all’eredità di quelli. 10La terza parte tirata a sorte toccò ai figliuoli di Zabulon, secondo le loro famiglie. Il confine della loro eredità si estendeva fino a Sarid. 11Questo confine saliva a occidente verso Mareala e giungeva a Dabbesceth, e poi al torrente che scorre di faccia a Iokneam. 12Da Sarid girava ad oriente, verso il sol levante, sino al confine di Kisloth-Tabor; poi continuava verso Dabrath, e saliva a Iafia. 13Di là passava a oriente per Gath-Hefer, per Eth-Katsin, continuava verso Rimmon, prolungandosi fino a Nea. 14Poi il confine girava dal lato di settentrione verso Hannathon, e facea capo alla valle d’Iftah-El. 15Esso includeva inoltre: Kattath, Nahalal, Scimron, Ideala e Bethlehem: dodici città e loro villaggi. 16Tale fu l’eredità dei figliuoli di Zabulon, secondo le loro famiglie: quelle città e i loro villaggi. 17La quarta parte tirata a sorte toccò a Issacar, ai figliuoli di Issacar, secondo le loro famiglie. 18Il loro territorio comprendeva: Izreel, Kesulloth, Sunem, 19Hafaraim, Scion, Anaharat, 20Rabbith, Kiscion, Abets, 21Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Hadda e Beth-Patsets. 22Poi il confine giungeva a Tabor, Shahatsim e Beth-Scemesh, e facea capo al Giordano: sedici città e i loro villaggi. 23Tale fu l’eredità della tribù de’ figliuoli d’Issacar, secondo le loro famiglie: quelle città e i loro villaggi. 24La quinta parte tirata a sorte toccò ai figliuoli di Ascer, secondo le loro famiglie. 25Il loro territorio comprendeva: Helkath, Hali, Beten, 26Acshaf, Allammelec, Amad, Mishal. Il loro confine giungeva, verso occidente, al Carmel e a Scihor-Libnath. 27Poi girava dal lato del sol levante verso Beth-Dagon, giungeva a Zabulon e alla valle di Iftah-El al nord di Beth-Emek e di Neiel, e si prolungava verso Cabul a sinistra, 28e verso Ebron, Rehob, Hammon e Kana, fino a Sidon la grande. 29Poi il confine girava verso Rama, fino alla città forte di Tiro, girava verso Hosa, e facea capo al mare dal lato del territorio di Acrib. 30Esso includeva inoltre: Ummah, Afek e Rehob: ventidue città e i loro villaggi. 31Tale fu l’eredità della tribù dei figliuoli di Ascer, secondo le loro famiglie: queste città e i loro villaggi. 32La sesta parte tirata a sorte toccò ai figliuoli di Neftali, secondo le loro famiglie. 33Il loro confine si estendeva da Helef, da Elon-Bezaanannim, Adami-Nekeb e Iabneel fino a Lakkun e facea capo al Giordano. 34Poi il confine girava a occidente verso Aznoth-Tabor, di là continuava verso Hukkok; giungeva a Zabulon dal lato di mezzogiorno, a Ascer dal lato d’occidente, e a Giuda del Giordano dal lato di levante. 35Le città forti erano: Tsiddim, Tser, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth, Adama, Rama, Hatsor, 36Kedes, Edrei, 37En-Hatsor, Ireon, Migdal-El, 38Horem, Beth-Anath e Beth-Scemesh: diciannove città e i loro villaggi. 39Tale fu l’eredità della tribù de’ figliuoli di Neftali, secondo le loro famiglie: queste città e i loro villaggi. 40La settima parte tirata a sorte toccò alla tribù de’ figliuoli di Dan, secondo le loro famiglie. 41Il confine della loro eredità comprendeva: Tsorea, Eshtaol, Ir-Scemesh, 42Shaalabbin, Aialon, Itla, Elon, 43Timnata, Ekron, 44Elteke, Ghibbeton, Baalath, 45Iehud, Bene-Berak, Gath-Rimmon, 46Me-Iarkon e Rakkon col territorio dirimpetto a Iafo. 47Or il territorio de’ figliuoli di Dan s’estese più lungi, poiché i figliuoli di Dan salirono a combattere contro Lescem; la presero e la misero a fil di spada; ne presero possesso, vi si stabilirono, e la chiamaron Lescem Dan, dal nome di Dan loro padre. 48Tale fu l’eredità della tribù de’ figliuoli di Dan, secondo le loro famiglie: queste città e i loro villaggi. 49Or quando i figliuoli d’Israele ebbero finito di distribuirsi l’eredità del paese secondo i suoi confini, dettero a Giosuè, figliuolo di Nun, una eredità in mezzo a loro. 50Secondo l’ordine dell’Eterno, gli diedero la città ch’egli chiese: Timnath-Serah, nella contrada montuosa di Efraim. Egli costruì la città e vi stabilì la sua dimora. 51Tali sono le eredità che il sacerdote Eleazar, Giosuè figliuolo di Nun e i capi famiglia delle tribù de’ figliuoli d’Israele distribuirono a sorte a Sciloh, davanti all’Eterno, all’ingresso della tenda di convegno. Così compirono la spartizione del paese.

1The second lot came out for Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families. Their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Judah. 2They had for their inheritance Beersheba (or Sheba), Moladah, 3Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem, 4Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah, 5Ziklag, Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susah, 6Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities with their villages; 7Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan; four cities with their villages; 8and all the villages that were around these cities to Baalath Beer, Ramah of the South. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families. 9Out of the part of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too much for them. Therefore the children of Simeon had inheritance in the midst of their inheritance. 10The third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. The border of their inheritance was to Sarid. 11Their border went up westward, even to Maralah, and reached to Dabbesheth. It reached to the brook that is before Jokneam. 12It turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrise to the border of Chisloth Tabor. It went out to Daberath, and went up to Japhia. 13From there it passed along eastward to Gath Hepher, to Ethkazin; and it went out at Rimmon which stretches to Neah. 14The border turned around it on the north to Hannathon; and it ended at the valley of Iphtah El; 15Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages. 16This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages. 17The fourth lot came out for Issachar, even for the children of Issachar according to their families. 18Their border was to Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem, 19Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath, 20Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez, 21Remeth, Engannim, En Haddah, and Beth Pazzez. 22The border reached to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh. Their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages. 23This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities with their villages. 24The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families. 25Their border was Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph, 26Allammelech, Amad, Mishal. It reached to Carmel westward, and to Shihorlibnath. 27It turned toward the sunrise to Beth Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Iphtah El northward to Beth Emek and Neiel. It went out to Cabul on the left hand, 28and Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, even to great Sidon. 29The border turned to Ramah, to the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah. It ended at the sea by the region of Achzib; 30Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities with their villages. 31This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages. 32The sixth lot came out for the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families. 33Their border was from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, Adaminekeb, and Jabneel, to Lakkum. It ended at the Jordan. 34The border turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, and went out from there to Hukkok. It reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah at the Jordan toward the sunrise. 35The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth, 36Adamah, Ramah, Hazor, 37Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor, 38Iron, Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath, and Beth Shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages. 39This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities with their villages. 40The seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families. 41The border of their inheritance was Zorah, Eshtaol, Irshemesh, 42Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah, 43Elon, Timnah, Ekron, 44Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath, 45Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon, 46Me Jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over against Joppa. 47The border of the children of Dan went out beyond them; for the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and struck it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and lived therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father. 48This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages. 49So they made an end of distributing the land for inheritance by its borders. The children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun in their midst. 50According to the commandment of Yahweh, they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in the hill country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and lived there. 51These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance by lot in Shiloh before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting. So they made an end of dividing the land.

1Daarna ging het tweede lot uit voor Simeon, voor den stam der kinderen van Simeon, naar hun huisgezinnen; en hun erfdeel was in het midden van het erfdeel der kinderen van Juda. 2En zij hadden in hun erfdeel: Beer-seba, en Seba, en Molada, 3En Hazar-Sual, en Bala, en Azem, 4En Eltholad, en Bethul, en Horma, 5En Ziklag, en Beth-hammerchaboth, en Hazar-Suza, 6En Beth-Lebaoth, en Saruhen; dertien steden en haar dorpen. 7Ain, Rimmon, en Ether, en Asan; vier steden en haar dorpen; 8En al de dorpen, die rondom deze steden waren, tot Baalath-Beer, dat is Ramath tegen het zuiden. Dit is het erfdeel van den stam der kinderen van Simeon, naar hun huisgezinnen. 9Het erfdeel der kinderen van Simeon is onder het snoer der kinderen van Juda; want het erfdeel der kinderen van Juda was te groot voor hen; daarom erfden de kinderen van Simeon in het midden van hun erfdeel. 10Daarna kwam het derde lot op voor de kinderen van Zebulon, naar hun huisgezinnen; en de landpale van hun erfdeel was tot aan Sarid. 11En hun landpale gaat opwaarts naar het westen en Mar-ala, en reikt tot Dabbaseth, en reikt tot aan de beek, die voor aan Jokneam is. 12En zij wendt zich van Sarid oostwaarts tegen den opgang der zon, tot de landpale van Chisloth-Thabor, en zij komt uit te Dobrath, en gaat opwaarts naar Jafia. 13En van daar gaat zij oostwaarts door naar den opgang, naar Gath-Hefer, te Eth-Kazin, en zij komt uit te Rimmon-Methoar, hetwelk is Nea. 14En deze landpale keert zich om tegen het noorden naar Hannathon, en haar uitgangen zijn het dal van Jiftah-El. 15En Kattath, en Nahalal, en Simron, en Jidala, en Bethlehem; twaalf steden en haar dorpen. 16Dit is het erfdeel der kinderen van Zebulon, naar hun huisgezinnen; deze steden en haar dorpen. 17Het vierde lot ging uit voor Issaschar, voor de kinderen van Issaschar, naar hun huisgezinnen. 18En hun landpale was Jizreela, en Chesulloth, en Sunem, 19En Hafaraim, en Sion, en Anacharath, 20En Rabbith, en Kisjon, en Ebez, 21En Remeth, en En-gannim, en En-hadda, en Beth-Pazzez. 22En deze landpale reikt aan Thabor, en Sahazima, en Beth-Semes; en de uitgangen van hun landpale zijn aan de Jordaan; zestien steden en haar dorpen. 23Dit is het erfdeel van den stam der kinderen van Issaschar, naar hun huisgezinnen, de steden en haar dorpen. 24Toen ging het vijfde lot voor den stam der kinderen van Aser uit, naar hun huisgezinnen. 25En hun landpale was Helkath, en Hali, en Beten, en Achsaf, 26En Allammelech, en Am-ad, en Mis-al; en zij reikt aan Karmel westwaarts, en aan Sichor-Libnath; 27En wendt zich tegen den opgang der zon naar Beth-Dagon, en reikt aan Zebulon, en aan het dal Jiftha-El noordwaarts naar Beth-Emek, en Nehiel, en komt uit tot Kabul ter linkerhand; 28En Ebron, en Rehob, en Hammon, en Kana, tot aan groot Sidon. 29En deze landpale wendt zich naar Rama, en tot aan de vaste stad Tyrus; dan keert deze landpale naar Hosa, en haar uitgangen zijn aan de zee, van het landsnoer strekkende naar Achzib, 30En Umma, en Afek, en Rehob; twee en twintig steden en haar dorpen. 31Dit is het erfdeel van den stam der kinderen van Aser, naar hun huisgezinnen, deze steden en haar dorpen. 32Het zesde lot ging uit voor de kinderen van Nafthali, voor de kinderen van Nafthali, naar hun huisgezinnen. 33En hun landpale is van Helef, van Allon tot Zaanannim, en Adami-Nekeb, en Jabneel, tot Lakkum; en haar uitgangen zijn aan de Jordaan. 34En deze landpale wendt zich westwaarts naar Asnoth-Thabor, en van daar gaat zij voort naar Hukkok, en zij reikt aan Zebulon tegen het zuiden, en aan Aser reikt zij tegen het westen, en aan Juda aan de Jordaan tegen den opgang der zon. 35De vaste steden nu zijn: Ziddim, Zer en Hammath, Rakkath en Cinnereth, 36En Adama, en Rama, en Hazor, 37En Kedes, en Edrei, en En-Hazor, 38En Jiron, en Migdal-El, Horem en Beth-Anath, en Beth-Semes; negentien steden en haar dorpen. 39Dit is het erfdeel van den stam der kinderen van Nafthali, naar hun huisgezinnen, de steden en haar dorpen. 40Het zevende lot ging uit voor den stam der kinderen van Dan, naar hun huisgezinnen. 41En de landpale van hun erfdeel was: Zora, en Esthaol, en Ir-Semes, 42En Saalabbin, en Ajalon, en Jithla, 43En Elon, en Timnatha, en Ekron, 44En Elteke, en Gibbethon, en Baalath, 45En Jehud, en Bene-Berak, en Gath-Rimmon, 46En Me-Jarkon, en Rakkon, met de landpale tegenover Jafo. 47Doch de landpale der kinderen van Dan was hun klein uitgekomen; daarom togen de kinderen van Dan op, en krijgden tegen Lesem, en namen haar in, en sloegen haar met de scherpte des zwaards, en erfden haar, en woonden daarin; en zij noemden Lesem, Dan, naar den naam van hun vader Dan. 48Dit is het erfdeel van de stam der kinderen van Dan, naar hun huisgezinnen, deze steden en haar dorpen. 49Toen zij nu geeindigd hadden het land erfelijk te delen, naar zijn landpale, zo gaven de kinderen Israels aan Jozua, den zoon van Nun, een erfdeel in het midden van hen. 50Naar den mond des HEEREN gaven zij hem die stad, welke hij begeerde, Thimnath-Serah, op het gebergte van Efraim; en hij bouwde die stad, en woonde in dezelve. 51Dit zijn de erfdelen, welke Eleazar, de priester, en Jozua, de zoon van Nun, en de hoofden der vaderen van de stammen, door het lot aan de kinderen Israels erfelijk uitdeelden te Silo, voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, aan de deur van de tent der samenkomst. Aldus maakten zij een einde van het uitdelen des lands.
