Yesaya 45

1Beginilah perkataan TUHAN kepada yang diurapi-Nya, kepada Koresh, yang tangan kanannya Aku pegang untuk menundukkan bangsa-bangsa di hadapannya dan untuk membuka ikat pinggang para raja, untuk membuka pintu-pintu di hadapannya sehingga pintu-pintu gerbang tidak akan ditutup, 2“Aku akan berjalan di depanmu dan membuat tempat-tempat yang bergelombang menjadi rata. Aku akan menghancurkan berkeping-keping pintu perunggu dan memotong jeruji besi mereka. 3Aku akan memberikan kepadamu harta karun di tempat yang gelap dan kekayaan tersembunyi yang disimpan di tempat-tempat rahasia, supaya kamu tahu bahwa Akulah, TUHAN, Allah Israel, yang memanggil kamu dengan namamu. 4Demi hamba-Ku, Yakub, dan demi Israel, umat pilihan-Ku, Aku memanggilmu dengan menyebut namamu, Aku memberimu gelar meskipun kamu tidak mengenal Aku. 5Akulah TUHAN, dan tidak ada yang lain. Selain Aku, tidak ada Allah. Aku memperlengkapi kamu sekalipun kamu tidak mengenal Aku, 6supaya mereka mengetahui, dari terbitnya matahari dan dari terbenamnya, bahwa tidak ada yang lain kecuali Aku. Akulah TUHAN, tidak ada yang lain. 7Aku membentuk terang dan menciptakan gelap; Aku mendatangkan kesejahteraan dan bencana. Akulah TUHAN yang melakukan semua ini. 8Meneteslah, hai langit, dari atas, dan biarlah awan mencurahkan kebenaran. Biarlah bumi terbuka dan membuahkan keselamatan, dan biarlah kebenaran bersemi bersama dengan itu! Aku, TUHAN, telah menciptakannya.” 9“Celakalah orang yang berselisih dengan Penciptanya, sekeping tembikar di antara tembikar-tembikar tanah. Apakah tanah liat bertanya kepada tukang periuk, ‘Apa yang sedang kamu buat?’ atau hasil karyamu berkata, ‘Kamu tidak punya tangan?’ 10Celakalah orang yang berkata kepada ayahnya, ‘Apa yang kauperanakkan?’ atau kepada ibunya, ‘Apa yang telah engkau lahirkan?’” 11Beginilah perkataan TUHAN, Yang Kudus dari Israel dan Penciptanya, “Bertanyalah kepada-Ku tentang hal-hal yang akan datang mengenai anak-anak-Ku, atau berikan perintah mengenai pekerjaan tangan-Ku. 12Akulah yang menjadikan bumi, dan menciptakan manusia di atasnya. Tangan-Kulah yang membentangkan langit dan Aku telah menetapkan semua penghuninya. 13Aku telah membangkitkan dia di dalam kebenaran, dan Aku akan membuat semua jalannya rata. Dia akan membangun kota-Ku dan akan membebaskan orang-orang buangan-Ku, tanpa upah atau bayaran,” demikianlah perkataan TUHAN semesta alam. 14Beginilah perkataan TUHAN, “Hasil kerja Mesir dan keuntungan perdagangan Etiopia dan orang-orang Seba yang berperawakan tinggi akan beralih kepadamu dan menjadi milikmu. Mereka semua akan berjalan di belakangmu. Mereka akan datang dengan keadaan dirantai dan tunduk kepadamu. Mereka akan memohon kepadamu, ‘Sungguh, Allah menyertaimu, dan tidak ada yang lain. Tidak ada Allah lain.’” 15Sesungguhnya, Engkau adalah Allah yang menyembunyikan diri, ya Allah Israel, Juru Selamat! 16Mereka akan dipermalukan dan mendapatkan aib, para pemahat patung akan pergi bersama dalam penghinaan. 17Akan tetapi, Israel akan diselamatkan TUHAN, dan keselamatan yang kekal. Kamu tidak akan dipermalukan dan direndahkan sampai selama-lamanya. 18Sebab, beginilah perkataan TUHAN, yang menciptakan langit — Dialah Allah yang membentuk bumi dan menjadikannya. Dia mendirikannya dan tidak membiarkannya kosong, tetapi membentuknya untuk didiami — “Akulah TUHAN. Tidak ada allah yang lain. 19Aku tidak pernah berfirman dengan sembunyi-sembunyi, di satu tempat yang gelap. Aku tidak mengatakan kepada keturunan Yakub, ‘Carilah Aku, di tempat yang sunyi,’ Aku, TUHAN, mengatakan kebenaran. Aku hanya mengatakan yang benar.” 20“Berkumpullah dan datanglah, mendekatlah bersama-sama, hai kamu yang terluput dari bangsa-bangsa! Mereka tidak memiliki pengetahuan, yang mengangkut patung-patung kayu mereka dan berdoa kepada allah yang tidak dapat menyelamatkan. 21Katakan dan sampaikan perkaramu; ya, biarlah mereka merundingkan ini: Siapakah yang menyatakan hal ini sejak dahulu? Siapakah yang mengatakan itu kepadamu dari zaman dahulu? Bukankah Aku, TUHAN? dan tidak ada Allah lain selain Aku, Allah yang benar dan Juru Selamat; tidak ada yang lain selain Aku! 22Berpalinglah kepada-Ku dan kamu akan diselamatkan, hai seluruh ujung bumi! Sebab, Akulah Allah, dan tidak ada yang lain. 23Aku telah bersumpah demi diri-Ku sendiri, firman telah keluar dari mulut-Ku dalam kebenaran dan tidak akan kembali, yaitu, ‘Kepada-Ku setiap lutut akan bertelut, dan setiap lidah akan bersumpah.’ 24Mereka akan berkata tentang Aku, ‘Hanya di dalam TUHAN saja kebenaran dan kekuatan.’” Semua orang yang marah terhadap Dia akan dipermalukan. 25Di dalam TUHAN, seluruh keturunan Israel akan dibenarkan dan akan merasa bangga.

1Thus says Yahweh to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him, and strip kings of their armor; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut: 2“I will go before you, and make the rough places smooth. I will break the doors of brass in pieces, and cut apart the bars of iron. 3I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, Yahweh, who call you by your name, even the God of Israel. 4For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel my chosen, I have called you by your name. I have given you a title, though you have not known me. 5I am Yahweh, and there is no one else. Besides me, there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not known me; 6that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is no one besides me. I am Yahweh, and there is no one else. 7I form the light, and create darkness. I make peace, and create calamity. I am Yahweh, who does all these things. 8Distil, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness. Let the earth open, that it may produce salvation, and let it cause righteousness to spring up with it. I, Yahweh, have created it. 9Woe to him who strives with his Maker— a clay pot among the clay pots of the earth! Shall the clay ask him who fashions it, ‘What are you making?’ or your work, ‘He has no hands?’ 10Woe to him who says to a father, ‘What have you become the father of?’ or to a mother, ‘To what have you given birth?’” 11Thus says Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: “You ask me about the things that are to come, concerning my sons, and you command me concerning the work of my hands! 12I have made the earth, and created man on it. I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens; and I have commanded all their army. 13I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will make straight all his ways. He shall build my city, and he shall let my exiles go free, not for price nor reward,” says Yahweh of Armies. 14Thus says Yahweh: “The labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over to you, and they shall be yours. They will go after you. They shall come over in chains; and they will bow down to you. They will make supplication to you: ‘Surely God is in you; and there is no one else. There is no other god. 15Most certainly you are a God who hidden yourself, God of Israel, the Savior.’” 16They will be disappointed, yes, confounded, all of them. Those who are makers of idols will go into confusion together. 17Israel will be saved by Yahweh with an everlasting salvation. You will not be disappointed nor confounded to ages everlasting. 18For thus says Yahweh who created the heavens, the God who formed the earth and made it, who established it and didn’t create it a waste, who formed it to be inhabited: “I am Yahweh; and there is no other. 19I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness. I didn’t say to the seed of Jacob, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I, Yahweh, speak righteousness. I declare things that are right. 20“Assemble yourselves and come. Draw near together, you who have escaped from the nations. Those have no knowledge who carry the wood of their engraved image, and pray to a god that can’t save. 21Declare and present it. Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has shown this from ancient time? Who has declared it of old? Haven’t I, Yahweh? There is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior; There is no one besides me. 22“Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. 23I have sworn by myself, the word has gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and will not return, that to me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath. 24They will say of me, ‘There is righteousness and strength only in Yahweh.’” Even to him shall men come; and all those who were incensed against him shall be disappointed. 25In Yahweh shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

1Alzo zegt de HEERE tot Zijn gezalfde, tot Cores, wiens rechterhand Ik vat, om de volken voor zijn aangezicht neder te werpen; en Ik zal de lendenen der koningen ontbinden, om voor zijn aangezicht de deuren te openen, en de poorten zullen niet gesloten worden: 2Ik zal voor uw aangezicht gaan, en Ik zal de kromme wegen recht maken; de koperen deuren zal Ik verbreken, en de ijzeren grendelen zal Ik in stukken slaan. 3En Ik zal u geven de schatten, die in de duisternissen zijn, en de verborgene rijkdommen; opdat gij moogt weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, Die u bij uw naam roept, de God van Israel; 4Om Jakobs, Mijns knechts wil, en Israels, Mijns uitverkorenen; ja, Ik riep u bij uw naam, Ik noemde u toe, hoewel gij Mij niet kendet. 5Ik ben de HEERE, en niemand meer, buiten Mij is er geen God; Ik zal u gorden, hoewel gij Mij niet kent. 6Opdat men wete, van den opgang der zon en van den ondergang, dat er buiten Mij niets is, Ik ben de HEERE, en niemand meer. 7Ik formeer het licht, en schep de duisternis; Ik maak den vrede en schep het kwaad, Ik, de HEERE, doe al deze dingen. 8Drupt, gij hemelen! van boven af, en dat de wolken vloeien van gerechtigheid; en de aarde opene zich, en dat allerlei heil uitwasse, en gerechtigheid te zamen uitspruiten; Ik, de HEERE, heb ze geschapen. 9Wee dien, die met zijn Formeerder twist, gelijk een potscherf met aarden potscherven! Zal ook het leem tot zijn formeerder zeggen: Wat maakt gij? of zal uw werk zeggen: Hij heeft geen handen? 10Wee dien, die tot den vader zegt: Wat genereert gij? en tot de vrouw: Wat baart gij? 11Alzo zegt de HEERE, de Heilige Israels, en deszelfs Formeerder: Zij hebben Mij van toekomende dingen gevraagd; van Mijn kinderen, zoudt gij Mij van het werk Mijner handen bevel geven? 12Ik heb de aarde gemaakt, en Ik heb den mens daarop geschapen; Ik ben het! Mijn handen hebben de hemelen uitgebreid, en Ik heb al hun heir bevel gegeven. 13Ik heb hem verwekt in gerechtigheid, en al zijn wegen zal Ik recht maken; hij zal Mijn stad bouwen, en hij zal Mijn gevangenen loslaten, niet voor prijs, noch voor geschenk, zegt de HEERE der heirscharen. 14Alzo zegt de HEERE: De arbeid der Egyptenaren en de koophandel der Moren en der Sabeers, der mannen van grote lengte, zullen tot u overkomen, en zij zullen de uwe zijn, zij zullen u navolgen, in boeien zullen zij overkomen; en zij zullen zich voor u buigen, zij zullen u smeken, zeggende: Gewisselijk, God is in u, en er is anders geen God meer. 15Voorwaar, Gij zijt een God, Die Zich verborgen houdt, de God Israels, de Heiland. 16Zij zullen beschaamd en ook tot schande worden, zij allen; te zamen zullen zij met schande heengaan, die de afgoden maken. 17Maar Israel wordt verlost door den HEERE, met een eeuwige verlossing; gijlieden zult niet beschaamd noch tot schande worden, tot in alle eeuwigheden. 18Want alzo zegt de HEERE, Die de hemelen geschapen heeft, Die God, Die de aarde geformeerd, en Die ze gemaakt heeft; Hij heeft ze bevestigd, Hij heeft ze niet geschapen, dat zij ledig zijn zou, maar heeft ze geformeerd, opdat men daarin wonen zou: Ik ben de HEERE, en niemand meer. 19Ik heb niet in het verborgene gesproken, in een donkere plaats der aarde; Ik heb tot het zaad van Jakob niet gezegd: Zoekt Mij te vergeefs; Ik ben de HEERE, Die gerechtigheid spreekt, Die rechtmatige dingen verkondigt. 20Verzamelt u, en komt, treedt hier toe samen, gijlieden, die van de heidenen ontkomen zijt! Zij weten niets, die hun houten gesneden beelden dragen, en een god aanbidden, die niet verlossen kan. 21Verkondigt en treedt hier toe, ja, beraadslaagt samen: wie heeft dat laten horen van ouds her? Wie heeft dat van toen af verkondigd? Ben Ik het niet, de HEERE? en er is geen God meer behalve Mij, een rechtvaardig God, en een Heiland, niemand is er dan Ik. 22Wendt U naar Mij toe, wordt behouden, alle gij einden der aarde! want Ik ben God, en niemand meer. 23Ik heb gezworen bij Mijzelven, er is een woord der gerechtigheid uit Mijn mond gegaan, en het zal niet wederkeren: dat Mij alle knie zal gebogen worden, alle tong Mij zal zweren. 24Men zal van Mij zeggen: Gewisselijk, in den HEERE zijn gerechtigheden en sterkte; tot Hem zal men komen; maar zij zullen beschaamd worden allen, die tegen Hem ontstoken zijn. 25Maar in den HEERE zullen gerechtvaardigd worden en zich beroemen, het ganse zaad van Israel.
