Deuteronomio 34

1Y SUBIÓ Moisés de los campos de Moab al monte de Nebo, á la cumbre de Pisga, que está enfrente de Jericó: y mostróle Jehová toda la tierra de Galaad hasta Dan, 2Y á todo Nephtalí, y la tierra de Ephraim y de Manasés, toda la tierra de Judá hasta la mar postrera; 3Y la parte meridional, y la campiña, la vega de Jericó, ciudad de las palmas, hasta Soar. 4Y díjole Jehová: Esta es la tierra de que juré á Abraham, á Isaac, y á Jacob, diciendo: A tu simiente la daré. Hétela hecho ver con tus ojos, mas no pasarás allá. 5Y murió allí Moisés siervo de Jehová, en la tierra de Moab, conforme al dicho de Jehová. 6Y enterrólo en el valle, en tierra de Moab, enfrente de Bethpeor; y ninguno sabe su sepulcro hasta hoy. 7Y era Moisés de edad de ciento y veinte años cuando murió: sus ojos nunca se oscurecieron, ni perdió su vigor. 8Y lloraron los hijos de Israel á Moisés en los campos de Moab treinta días: y así se cumplieron los días del lloro del luto de Moisés. 9Y Josué hijo de Nun fué lleno de espíritu de sabiduría, porque Moisés había puesto sus manos sobre él: y los hijos de Israel le obedecieron, é hicieron como Jehová mandó á Moisés. 10Y nunca más se levantó profeta en Israel como Moisés, á quien haya conocido Jehová cara á cara; 11En todas las señales y prodigios que le envió Jehová á hacer en tierra de Egipto á Faraón, y á todos sus siervos, y á toda su tierra; 12Y en toda aquella mano esforzada, y en todo el espanto grande que causó Moisés á ojos de todo Israel.

1Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. Yahweh showed him all the land of Gilead, to Dan, 2and all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, to the western sea, 3and the south, and the Plain of the valley of Jericho the city of palm trees, to Zoar. 4Yahweh said to him, “This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your seed.’ I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there.” 5So Moses the servant of Yahweh died there in the land of Moab, according to Yahweh’s word. 6He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth Peor, but no man knows where his tomb is to this day. 7Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dim, nor his strength gone. 8The children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, until the days of weeping in the mourning for Moses were ended. 9Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands on him. The children of Israel listened to him, and did as Yahweh commanded Moses. 10Since then, there has not arisen a prophet in Israel like Moses, whom Yahweh knew face to face, 11in all the signs and the wonders, which Yahweh sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land, 12and in all the mighty hand, and in all the awesome deeds, which Moses did in the sight of all Israel.

1Toen ging Mozes op, uit de vlakke velden van Moab, naar den berg Nebo, op de hoogten van Pisga, welke recht tegenover Jericho is; en de HEERE wees hem dat ganse land, Gilead tot Dan toe; 2En het ganse Nafthali, en het land van Efraim en Manasse, en het ganse land van Juda, tot aan de achterste zee; 3En het Zuiden, en het effen veld der vallei van Jericho, de palmstad, tot Zoar toe. 4En de HEERE zeide tot hem: Dit is het land, dat Ik Abraham, Izak en Jakob gezworen heb, zeggende: Aan uw zaad zal Ik het geven! Ik heb het u met uw ogen doen zien, maar gij zult daarheen niet overgaan. 5Alzo stierf Mozes, de knecht des HEEREN, aldaar in het land van Moab, naar des HEEREN mond. 6En Hij begroef hem in een dal, in het land van Moab, tegenover Beth-Peor; en niemand heeft zijn graf geweten, tot op dezen dag. 7Mozes nu was honderd en twintig jaren oud, als hij stierf; zijn oog was niet donker geworden, en zijn kracht was niet vergaan. 8En de kinderen Israels beweenden Mozes, in de vlakke velden van Moab, dertig dagen; en de dagen des wenens, van den rouw over Mozes, werden voleindigd. 9Jozua nu, de zoon van Nun, was vol van den Geest der wijsheid; want Mozes had zijn handen op hem gelegd; zo hoorden de kinderen Israels naar hem, en deden gelijk als de HEERE Mozes geboden had. 10En er stond geen profeet meer op in Israel, gelijk Mozes, dien de HEERE gekend had, van aangezicht tot aangezicht, 11In al de tekenen en de wonderen, waartoe hem de HEERE gezonden heeft, om die in Egypteland te doen aan Farao, en aan al zijn knechten, en aan al zijn land; 12En in al die sterke hand, en in al die grote verschrikking, die Mozes gedaan heeft voor de ogen van gans Israel.
