1NO entrará en la congregación de Jehová el que fuere quebrado, ni el castrado. 2No entrará bastardo en la congregación de Jehová: ni aun en la décima generación entrará en la congregación de Jehová. 3No entrará Ammonita ni Moabita en la congregación de Jehová; ni aun en la décima generación entrará en la congregación de Jehová para siempre: 4Por cuanto no os salieron á recibir con pan y agua al camino, cuando salisteis de Egipto; y porque alquiló contra ti á Balaam hijo de Beor de Pethor de Mesopotamia de Siria, para que te maldijese. 5Mas no quiso Jehová tu Dios oir á Balaam; y Jehová tu Dios te volvió la maldición en bendición, porque Jehová tu Dios te amaba. 6No procurarás la paz de ellos ni su bien en todos los días para siempre. 7No abominarás al Idumeo, que tu hermano es: no abominarás al Egipcio, que extranjero fuiste en su tierra. 8Los hijos que nacieren de ellos, á la tercera generación entrarán en la congregación de Jehová. 9Cuando salieres á campaña contra tus enemigos, guárdate de toda cosa mala. 10Cuando hubiere en ti alguno que no fuere limpio por accidente de noche, saldráse del campo, y no entrará en él. 11Y será que al declinar de la tarde se lavará con agua, y cuando fuere puesto el sol, entrará en el campo. 12Y tendrás un lugar fuera del real, y saldrás allá fuera; 13Tendrás también una estaca entre tus armas; y será que, cuando estuvieres allí fuera, cavarás con ella, y luego al volverte cubrirás tu excremento: 14Porque Jehová tu Dios anda por medio de tu campo, para librarte y entregar tus enemigos delante de ti; por tanto será tu real santo: porque él no vea en ti cosa inmunda, y se vuelva de en pos de ti. 15No entregarás á su señor el siervo que se huyere á ti de su amo: 16More contigo, en medio de ti, en el lugar que escogiere en alguna de tus ciudades, donde bien le estuviere: no le harás fuerza. 17No habrá ramera de las hijas de Israel, ni habrá sodomítico de los hijos de Israel. 18No traerás precio de ramera, ni precio de perro á la casa de Jehová tu Dios por ningún voto; porque abominación es á Jehová tu Dios así lo uno como lo otro. 19No tomarás de tu hermano logro de dinero, ni logro de comida, ni logro de cosa alguna de que se suele tomar. 20Del extraño tomarás logro, mas de tu hermano no lo tomarás, porque te bendiga Jehová tu Dios en toda obra de tus manos sobre la tierra á la cual entras para poseerla. 21Cuando prometieres voto á Jehová tu Dios, no tardarás en pagarlo; porque ciertamente lo demandará Jehová tu Dios de ti, y habría en ti pecado. 22Mas cuando te abstuvieres de prometer, no habrá en ti pecado. 23Guardarás lo que tus labios pronunciaren; y harás, como prometiste á Jehová tu Dios, lo que de tu voluntad hablaste por tu boca. 24Cuando entrares en la viña de tu prójimo, comerás uvas hasta saciar tu deseo: mas no pondrás en tu vaso. 25Cuando entrares en la mies de tu prójimo, podrás cortar espigas con tu mano; mas no aplicarás hoz á la mies de tu prójimo.
1He who is emasculated by crushing or cutting shall not enter into Yahweh’s assembly. 2A person born of a forbidden union shall not enter into Yahweh’s assembly; even to the tenth generation shall no one of his enter into Yahweh’s assembly. 3An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into Yahweh’s assembly; even to the tenth generation shall no one belonging to them enter into Yahweh’s assembly forever; 4because they didn’t meet you with bread and with water on the way, when you came out of Egypt, and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse you. 5Nevertheless Yahweh your God wouldn’t listen to Balaam; but Yahweh your God turned the curse into a blessing to you, because Yahweh your God loved you. 6You shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all your days forever. 7You shall not abhor an Edomite; for he is your brother. You shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you lived as a foreigner in his land. 8The children of the third generation who are born to them may enter into Yahweh’s assembly. 9When you go out and camp against your enemies, then you shall keep yourselves from every evil thing. 10If there is among you any man who is not clean by reason of that which happens him by night, then shall he go outside of the camp. He shall not come within the camp; 11but it shall be, when evening comes, he shall bathe himself in water. When the sun is down, he shall come within the camp. 12You shall have a place also outside of the camp where you go relieve yourself. 13You shall have a trowel among your weapons. It shall be, when you relieve yourself, you shall dig with it, and shall turn back and cover your excrement; 14for Yahweh your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you, and to give up your enemies before you. Therefore your camp shall be holy, that he may not see an unclean thing in you, and turn away from you. 15You shall not deliver to his master a servant who has escaped from his master to you. 16He shall dwell with you, in your midst, in the place which he shall choose within one of your gates, where it pleases him best. You shall not oppress him. 17There shall be no prostitute of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Israel. 18You shall not bring the hire of a prostitute, or the wages of a male prostitute, into the house of Yahweh your God for any vow; for both of these are an abomination to Yahweh your God. 19You shall not lend on interest to your brother; interest of money, interest of food, interest of anything that is lent on interest. 20You may lend on interest to a foreigner; but to your brother you shall not lend on interest, that Yahweh your God may bless you in all that you put your hand to, in the land where you go in to possess it. 21When you vow a vow to Yahweh your God, you shall not be slack to pay it; for Yahweh your God will surely require it of you; and it would be sin in you. 22But if you refrain from making a vow, it shall be no sin in you. 23You shall observe and do that which has gone out of your lips. Whatever you have vowed to Yahweh your God as a freewill offering, which you have promised with your mouth, you must do. 24When you come into your neighbor’s vineyard, then you may eat of grapes your fill at your own pleasure; but you shall not put any in your container. 25When you come into your neighbor’s standing grain, then you may pluck the ears with your hand; but you shall not move a sickle to your neighbor’s standing grain.
1Die door plettering verwond of uitgesneden is aan de mannelijkheid, zal in de vergadering des HEEREN niet komen. 2Geen bastaard zal in de vergadering des HEEREN komen; zelfs zijn tiende geslacht zal in de vergadering des HEEREN niet komen. 3Geen Ammoniet, noch Moabiet zal in de vergadering des HEEREN komen; zelfs hun tiende geslacht zal in de vergadering des HEEREN niet komen tot in eeuwigheid. 4Ter oorzake dat zij ulieden op den weg niet tegengekomen zijn met brood en met water, als gij uit Egypte uittoogt; en omdat hij tegen u gehuurd heeft Bileam, den zoon van Beor, van Pethor uit Mesopotamie, om u te vloeken. 5Doch de HEERE, uw God, heeft naar Bileam niet willen horen; maar de HEERE, uw God, heeft u den vloek in een zegen veranderd, omdat de HEERE, uw God, u liefhad. 6Gij zult hun vrede en hun best niet zoeken, al uw dagen in eeuwigheid. 7Den Edomiet zult gij voor geen gruwel houden, want hij is uw broeder; den Egyptenaar zult gij voor geen gruwel houden want gij zijt een vreemdeling geweest in zijn land. 8Aangaande de kinderen, die hun zullen geboren worden in het derde geslacht, elk van die zal in de vergadering des HEEREN komen. 9Wanneer het leger uittrekt tegen uw vijanden, zo zult gij u wachten voor alle kwade zaak. 10Wanneer iemand onder u is, die niet rein is, door enig toeval des nachts, die zal tot buiten het leger uitgaan; hij zal tot binnen het leger niet komen. 11Maar het zal geschieden, dat hij zich tegen het naken van den avond met water zal baden; en als de zon ondergegaan is, zal hij tot binnen het leger komen. 12Gij zult ook een plaats hebben buiten het leger, en daarhenen zult gij uitgaan naar buiten. 13En gij zult een schopje hebben, benevens uw gereedschap, en het zal geschieden, als gij buiten gezeten hebt, dan zult gij daarmede graven, en u omkeren, en bedekken wat van u uitgegaan is. 14Want de HEERE, uw God, wandelt in het midden van uw leger, om u te verlossen, en om uw vijanden voor uw aangezicht te geven; daarom zal uw leger heilig zijn, opdat Hij niets schandelijks onder u zie, en achterwaarts van u afkere. 15Gij zult een knecht aan zijn heer niet overleveren, die van zijn heer tot u ontkomen zal zijn. 16Hij zal bij u blijven in het midden van u, in de plaats, die hij zal verkiezen, in een van uw poorten, waar het goed voor hem is; gij zult hem niet verdrukken. 17Er zal geen hoer zijn onder de dochteren van Israel; en er zal geen schandjongen zijn onder de zonen van Israel. 18Gij zult geen hoerenloon noch hondenprijs in het huis des HEEREN, uws Gods, brengen, tot enige gelofte; want ook die beiden zijn den HEERE, uw God, een gruwel. 19Gij zult aan uw broeder niet woekeren, met woeker van geld, met woeker van spijze, met woeker van enig ding, waarmede men woekert. 20Aan den vreemde zult gij woekeren; maar aan uw broeder zult gij niet woekeren; opdat u de HEERE, uw God, zegene, in alles, waaraan gij uw hand slaat, in het land, waar gij naar toe gaat, om dat te erven. 21Wanneer gij den HEERE, uw God, een gelofte zult beloofd hebben, gij zult niet vertrekken die te betalen; want de HEERE, uw God, zal ze zekerlijk van u eisen, en zonde zou in u zijn. 22Maar als gij nalaat te beloven, zo zal het geen zonde in u zijn. 23Wat uit uw lippen gaat, zult gij houden en doen; gelijk als gij den HEERE, uw God, een vrijwillig offer beloofd hebt, dat gij met uw mond gesproken hebt. 24Wanneer gij gaan zult in uws naasten wijngaard, zo zult gij druiven eten naar uw lust, tot uw verzadiging; maar in uw vat zult gij niets doen. 25Wanneer gij zult gaan in uws naasten staande koren, zo zult gij de aren met uw hand afplukken; maar de sikkel zult gij aan uws naasten staande koren niet bewegen.
