1At ikaw, anak ng tao, manghula ka laban sa mga bundok ng Israel, at sabihin mo, Kayong mga bundok ng Israel, pakinggan ninyo ang salita ng Panginoon. 2Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios: sapagka't sinabi ng kaaway sa inyo, Aha! at, Ang dating mga mataas na dako ay aming pag-aari; 4Kaya't kayong mga bundok ng Israel, inyong pakinggan ang salita ng Panginoong Dios: Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios sa mga bundok at sa mga burol, sa mga daan ng tubig at sa mga libis, sa mga sirang dako at sa mga bayan na nangapabayaan, na mga naging samsam at kakutyaan na nalabi sa mga bansa na nangasa palibot; 5Kaya't ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios: Tunay na sa silakbo ng aking paninibugho ay nagsalita ako laban sa nalabi sa mga bansa, at laban sa buong Edom, na nagtakda ng aking lupain sa kanilang sarili na pag-aari na may kagalakan ng buo nilang puso, na may sama ng loob, upang ihagis na pinakasamsam. 6Kaya't manghula ka tungkol sa lupain ng Israel, at sabihin mo sa mga bundok at sa mga burol, sa mga daan ng tubig at sa mga libis, Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios: Narito, ako'y nagsalita sa aking paninibugho at sa aking kapusukan, sapagka't inyong tinaglay ang kahihiyan ng mga bansa. 7Kaya't ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios: Aking itinaas ang aking kamay, na aking sinasabi, Tunay na ang mga bansa na nangasa palibot ninyo, mangagtataglay sila ng malaking kahihiyan. 8Nguni't, kayo, Oh mga bundok ng Israel, inyong isusupling ang inyong mga sanga, at magbubunga sa aking bayang Israel; sapagka't sila'y malapit nang dumating. 9Sapagka't, narito, ako'y sa inyo, at ako'y babalik sa inyo, at kayo'y mabubukid at mahahasikan; 10At ako'y magpaparami ng mga tao sa inyo, buong sangbahayan ni Israel, sa makatuwid baga'y siyang lahat; at ang mga bayan ay tatahanan, at ang mga sirang dako ay mangatatayo; 11At ako'y magpaparami sa inyo ng tao at hayop; at sila'y magsisidami at mangagkakaanak: at aking patatahanin kayo ayon sa inyong dating kalagayan, at gagawan ko kayo ng magaling kay sa una: at inyong malalaman na ako ang Panginoon. 12Oo, aking palalakarin sa inyo ang mga tao, sa makatuwid baga'y ang aking bayang Israel; at kanilang aariin ka, at ikaw ay magiging kanilang mana, at hindi mo na sila wawalaan ng mga anak. 13Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios: Sapagka't kanilang sinasabi sa iyo, Ikaw na lupain ay manglalamon nga ng mga tao, at naging mapagpahirap sa iyong bansa; 14Kaya't hindi ka na manglalamon pa ng mga tao o papatay pa man sa iyong bansa, sabi ng Panginoong Dios; 15O iparirinig ko pa man sa iyo ang kahihiyan ng mga bansa, o magtataglay ka pa man ng kakutyaan ng mga bayan, o ititisod mo pa man ang iyong bansa, sabi ng Panginoong Dios. 16Bukod dito'y dumating sa akin ang salita ng Panginoon, na nagsasabi, 17Anak ng tao, nang tumatahan ang sangbahayan ni Israel sa kanilang sariling lupain, kanilang inihawa ng kanilang lakad at ng kanilang mga gawa: ang kanilang lakad sa harap ko ay naging parang karumihan ng babae sa kaniyang kapanahunan. 18Kaya't aking ibinugso ang aking kapusukan sa kanila dahil sa dugo na kanilang ibinubo sa lupain, at dahil sa kanilang nilapastangan ng kanilang mga diosdiosan; 19At aking pinangalat sila sa mga bansa, at sila'y nagsipanabog sa mga lupain: ayon sa kanilang lakad at ayon sa kanilang mga gawa ay hinatulan ko sila. 20At nang sila'y dumating sa mga bansa, na kanilang pinaroonan, kanilang nilapastangan ang aking banal na pangalan; Hindi ko ginawa ito dahil sa inyo, Oh sangbahayan ni Israel, kundi dahil sa aking banal na pangalan, na inyong nilapastangan sa mga bansa na inyong pinaroonan. 23At aking babanalin ang aking dakilang pangalan, na nalapastangan sa mga bansa, na inyong nilapastangan sa gitna nila; at malalaman ng mga bansa na ako ang Panginoon, sabi ng Panginoong Dios, pagka ako'y aariing banal sa inyo sa harap ng kanilang mga mata. 24Sapagka't aking kukunin kayo sa mga bansa, at pipisanin ko kayo na mula sa lahat ng lupain, at dadalhin ko kayo sa inyong sariling lupain. 25At ako'y magwiwisik ng malinis na tubig sa inyo, at kayo'y magiging malinis: sa buo ninyong karumihan, at sa lahat ninyong mga diosdiosan, lilinisin ko kayo. 26Bibigyan ko rin naman kayo ng bagong puso, at lalagyan ko ang loob ninyo ng bagong diwa; at aking aalisin ang batong puso sa inyong katawan, at aking bibigyan kayo ng pusong laman. 27At aking ilalagay ang aking Espiritu sa loob ninyo, at palalakarin ko kayo ng ayon sa aking mga palatuntunan, at inyong iingatan ang aking mga kahatulan, at isasagawa. 28At kayo'y magsisitahan sa lupain na ibinigay ko sa inyong mga magulang; at kayo'y magiging aking bayan, at ako'y magiging inyong Dios. 29At lilinisin ko kayo sa lahat ninyong karumihan: at aking patutubuin ang trigo, at aking pararamihin, at hindi na ako magpaparating ng kagutom sa inyo. 30At aking pararamihin ang bunga ng punong kahoy, at ang ani sa bukid, upang huwag na kayong tumanggap pa ng kadustaan ng kagutom sa mga bansa. 31Kung magkagayo'y inyong maaalaala ang inyong mga masamang lakad, at ang inyong mga gawa na hindi mabuti; at kayo'y mayayamot sa inyong sarili sa inyong paninging sarili, dahil sa inyong mga kasamaan at dahil sa inyong mga kasuklamsuklam. 32Hindi dahil sa inyo ginagawa ko ito, sabi ng Panginoong Dios, tantuin ninyo: kayo'y mangahiya at mangalito dahil sa inyong mga lakad, Oh sangbahayan ni Israel. 33Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios: Sa araw na aking linisin kayo sa lahat ninyong kasamaan, aking patatahanan ang mga bayan, at ang mga gibang dako ay mangatatayo. 34At ang lupain na naging sira ay mabubukid, na naging sira sa paningin ng lahat na nangagdaraan. 35At kanilang sasabihin, Ang lupaing ito na naging sira ay naging gaya ng halamanan ng Eden; at ang sira at giba at wasak na mga bayan ay nakukutaan at tinatahanan. 36Kung magkagayo'y malalaman ng mga bansa na nalabi sa palibot ninyo na akong Panginoon ay nagtayo ng mga guhong dako, at tinamnan ko ang dakong sira: akong Panginoon ang nagsalita, at aking gagawin. 37Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios: Bukod dito pa'y pagsasanggunian ako ng sangbahayan ni Israel, upang gawin sa kanila; ako'y magpaparami sa kanila ng tao na parang kawan. 38Kung paano ang kawan na panghain, kung paano ang kawan ng Jerusalem sa kanilang mga takdang kapistahan, gayon mapupuno ang mga gibang bayan ng mga kawan ng mga tao: at kanilang malalaman na ako ang Panginoon.
1You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, You mountains of Israel, hear Yahweh’s word. 2Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because the enemy has said against you, Aha! and, The ancient high places are ours in possession; 3therefore prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the residue of the nations, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people; 4therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: Thus says the Lord Yahweh to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are all around; 5therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey. 6Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and tell the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the shame of the nations: 7therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: I have sworn, Surely the nations that are around you, they shall bear their shame. 8But you, mountains of Israel, you shall shoot out your branches, and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come. 9For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn into you, and you shall be tilled and sown; 10and I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, even all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built; 11and I will multiply on you man and animal; and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited after your former estate, and you will do better than at your beginnings: and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 12Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no more henceforth bereave them of children. 13Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because they say to you, You are a devourer of men, and have been a bereaver of your nation; 14therefore you shall devour men no more, neither bereave your nation any more, says the Lord Yahweh; 15neither will I let you hear any more the shame of the nations, neither shall you bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shall you cause your nation to stumble any more, says the Lord Yahweh. 16Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 17Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity. 18Therefore I poured out my wrath on them for the blood which they had poured out on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols; 19and I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them. 20When they came to the nations, where they went, they profaned my holy name; in that men said of them, These are the people of Yahweh, and are gone out of his land. 21But I had respect for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, where they went. 22Therefore tell the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I don’t do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations, where you went. 23I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am Yahweh, says the Lord Yahweh, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. 24For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land. 25I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. 27I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them. 28You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God. 29I will save you from all your uncleanness: and I will call for the grain, and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you. 30I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that you may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations. 31Then you shall remember your evil ways, and your doings that were not good; and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations. 32Nor for your sake do I this, says the Lord Yahweh, be it known to you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel. 33Thus says the Lord Yahweh: In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built. 34The land that was desolate shall be tilled, whereas it was a desolation in the sight of all who passed by. 35They shall say, This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited. 36Then the nations that are left around you shall know that I, Yahweh, have built the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and I will do it. 37Thus says the Lord Yahweh: For this, moreover, will I be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock. 38As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
1En gij, mensenkind! profeteer tot de bergen Israels, en zeg: Gij bergen Israels! hoort des HEEREN woord. 2Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat de vijand van u zegt: Heah! zelfs de eeuwige hoogten zijn ons ten erve geworden! 3Daarom profeteer en zeg: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Daarom, omdat men u van rondom verwoest en opgeslokt heeft, opdat gij voor het overblijfsel der heidenen ten erve zoudt zijn, en gij gebracht zijt op de klapachtige lip en in opspraak des volks; 4Daarom, gij bergen Israels! hoort het woord des Heeren HEEREN: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE tot de bergen en tot de heuvelen, tot de stromen en tot de dalen, tot de verwoeste eenzame plaatsen en tot de verlaten steden, die tot een roof en tot een spot geworden zijn voor het overblijfsel der heidenen, die rondom zijn; 5Daarom, zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Zo Ik niet in het vuur Mijns ijvers gesproken heb tegen het overblijfsel der heidenen, en tegen het ganse Edom; die Mijn land zichzelven ten erve gegeven hebben met blijdschap des gansen harten, met begerige plundering, opdat de landerij daarvan ten rove zou zijn! 6Daarom profeteer van het land Israels, en zeg tot de bergen en tot de heuvelen, tot de stromen en tot de dalen: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ziet, Ik heb in Mijn ijver en in Mijn grimmigheid gesproken, omdat gij den smaad der heidenen gedragen hebt; 7Daarom, zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ik heb Mijn hand opgeheven; zo niet de heidenen, die rondom u zijn, zelf hun schande zullen dragen! 8Maar gij, o bergen Israels! gij zult weder uw takken geven, en uw vrucht voor Mijn volk Israel dragen, want zij naderen te komen. 9Want ziet, Ik ben bij u, en Ik zal u aanzien, en gij zult gebouwd en bezaaid worden. 10En Ik zal mensen op u vermenigvuldigen, het ganse huis Israels, ja, dat geheel; en de steden zullen bewoond, en de eenzame plaatsen bebouwd worden. 11Ja, Ik zal mensen en beesten op u vermenigvuldigen, en zij zullen vermenigvuldigd worden en vruchtbaar zijn; en Ik zal u doen bewonen, als in uw vorige tijden, ja, Ik zal het beter maken dan in uw beginselen; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 12En Ik zal mensen op u doen wandelen, namelijk Mijn volk Israel, die zullen u erfelijk bezitten, en gij zult hun ter erfenis zijn, en gij zult ze voortaan niet meer beroven. 13Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat zij tot u zeggen: Gij zijt een land, dat mensen opeet, en gij zijt een land, dat uw volken berooft; 14Daarom zult gij niet meer mensen opeten, en uw volken niet meer doen struikelen, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 15En Ik zal maken, dat men den schimp der heidenen niet meer over u hore, en gij zult den smaad der natien niet meer dragen; en gij zult uw volken niet meer doen struikelen, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 16Wijders geschiedde des HEEREN woord tot mij, zeggende: 17Mensenkind! het huis Israels, als zij in hun land woonden, toen verontreinigden zij datzelve met hun weg en met hun handelingen; hun weg was voor Mijn aangezicht als de onreinigheid ener afgezonderde vrouw. 18Daarom goot Ik Mijn grimmigheid over hen uit, om des bloeds wil, dat zij in het land vergoten hadden, en om hun drekgoden, waarmede zij dat verontreinigd hadden. 19En Ik verstrooide hen onder de heidenen, en zij werden verspreid in de landen; Ik oordeelde ze naar hun weg en naar hun handelingen. 20Als zij nu tot de heidenen kwamen, waarhenen zij getogen waren, ontheiligden zij Mijn heiligen Naam, omdat men van hen zeide: Dezen zijn het volk des HEEREN, en zijn uit Zijn land uitgegaan. 21Maar Ik verschoonde hen om Mijn heiligen Naam, dien het huis Israels ontheiligde onder de heidenen, waarhenen zij gekomen waren. 22Daarom zeg tot het huis Israels: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ik doe het niet om uwentwil, gij huis Israels! maar om Mijn heiligen Naam, dien gijlieden ontheiligd hebt onder de heidenen, waarhenen gij gekomen zijt. 23Want Ik zal Mijn groten Naam heiligen, die onder de heidenen ontheiligd is, dien gij in het midden van hen ontheiligd hebt; en de heidenen zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, spreekt de Heere HEERE, als Ik aan u voor hun ogen zal geheiligd zijn. 24Want Ik zal u uit de heidenen halen, en zal u uit al de landen vergaderen; en Ik zal u in uw land brengen. 25Dan zal Ik rein water op u sprengen, en gij zult rein worden; van al uw onreinigheden en van al uw drekgoden zal Ik u reinigen. 26En Ik zal u een nieuw hart geven, en zal een nieuwen geest geven in het binnenste van u; en Ik zal het stenen hart uit uw vlees wegnemen, en zal u een vlesen hart geven. 27En Ik zal Mijn Geest geven in het binnenste van u; en Ik zal maken, dat gij in Mijn inzettingen zult wandelen, en Mijn rechten zult bewaren en doen. 28En gij zult wonen in het land, dat Ik uw vaderen gegeven heb, en gij zult Mij tot een volk zijn, en Ik zal u tot een God zijn. 29En Ik zal u verlossen van al uw onreinigheden; en Ik zal roepen tot het koren, en zal dat vermenigvuldigen, en Ik zal geen honger op u leggen. 30En Ik zal de vrucht van het geboomte en de inkomst des velds vermenigvuldigen; opdat gij de smaadheid des hongers niet meer ontvangt onder de heidenen. 31Dan zult gij gedenken aan uw boze wegen en uw handelingen, die niet goed waren; en gij zult een walging van u zelf hebben over uw ongerechtigheden en over uw gruwelen. 32Ik doe het niet om uwentwil, spreekt de Heere HEERE, het zij u bekend! Schaamt u en wordt schaamrood van uw wegen, gij huis Israels! 33Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ten dage, als Ik u reinigen zal van al uw ongerechtigheden, dan zal Ik de steden doen bewonen, en de eenzame plaatsen zullen bebouwd worden. 34En het verwoeste land zal bebouwd worden, in plaats dat het een verwoesting was, voor de ogen van een ieder, die er doorging. 35En zij zullen zeggen: Dit land, dat verwoest was, is geworden als een hof van Eden; en de eenzame, en de verwoeste en verstoorde steden zijn vast en bewoond. 36Dan zullen de heidenen, die in de plaatsen rondom u zullen overgelaten zijn, weten, dat Ik, de HEERE, de verstoorde plaatsen bebouw, en het verwoeste beplant. Ik, de HEERE, heb het gesproken en zal het doen. 37Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Daarenboven zal Ik hierom van het huis Israels verzocht worden, dat Ik het hun doe; Ik zal ze vermenigvuldigen van mensen, als schapen. 38Gelijk de geheiligde schapen, gelijk de schapen van Jeruzalem op hun gezette hoogtijden, alzo zullen de eenzame steden vol zijn van mensenkudden; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben.
