1Bukod dito'y ang salita ng Panginoon ay dumating sa akin, na nagsasabi, 2At Ikaw, anak ng tao, hahatulan mo baga, hahatulan mo baga ang bayang mabagsik? ipakilala mo nga sa kaniya ang lahat niyang kasuklamsuklam. 3At iyong sabihin, Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios: Bayang nagbububo ng dugo sa gitna niya, na ang kaniyang panahon ay darating, at gumagawa ng mga diosdiosan laban sa kaniyang sarili, upang mapahamak siya! 4Ikaw ay naging salarin dahil sa iyong dugo na iyong ibinubo, at ikaw ay napahamak sa iyong mga diosdiosan na iyong ginawa; at iyong pinalapit ang iyong mga kaarawan, at ikaw ay dumating hanggang sa iyong mga taon; kaya't ginawa kitang isang kapulaan sa mga bansa, at isang katuyaan sa lahat na lupain. 5Yaong mga malapit, at yaong mga malayo, ay magsisituya sa iyo, ikaw na napahamak at puno ng kagulo. 6Narito, ang mga prinsipe sa Israel, na bawa't isa'y ayon sa kaniyang kapangyarihan, napasa iyo upang magbubo ng dugo. 7Sa iyo'y kanilang niwalang kabuluhan ang ama't ina; sa gitna mo ay pinahirapan nila ang taga ibang lupa; sa iyo'y kanilang pinighati ang ulila at ang babaing bao. 8Iyong hinamak ang aking mga banal na bagay, at iyong nilapastangan ang aking mga sabbath. 9Mga maninirang puri ay napasa iyo upang magbubo ng dugo: at sa iyo'y nagsikain sila sa mga bundok: sa gitna mo ay nagkasala sila ng kahalayan. 10Sa iyo'y kanilang inilitaw ang kahubaran ng kanilang mga magulang; sa iyo'y pinapakumbaba niya siya na marumi sa kaniyang pagkahiwalay. 11At ang isa'y gumawa ng kasuklamsuklam sa asawa ng kaniyang kapuwa; at ang isa'y gumawa ng kahalayhalay sa kaniyang manugang na babae; at sa iyo'y sinipingan ng isa ang kaniyang kapatid na babae na anak ng kaniyang ama. 12Sa iyo ay nagsitanggap sila ng suhol upang magbubo ng dugo; ikaw ay kumuha ng patubo't pakinabang, at ikaw ay nakinabang ng malabis sa iyong kapuwa sa pamamagitan ng pagpighati, at nilimot mo ako, sabi ng Panginoong Dios. 13Narito nga, aking ipinakpak ang aking kamay dahil sa iyong masamang pakinabang na iyong ginawa, at sa iyong dugo na iyong ibinubo sa gitna mo. 14Makapagmamatigas baga ang iyong puso, o makapagmamalakas baga ang iyong mga kamay sa mga araw na parurusahan kita? Akong Panginoon ang nagsalita, at gagawa niyaon. 15At aking pangangalatin ka sa gitna ng mga bansa, at pananabugin kita sa mga lupain; at aking papawiin ang iyong karumihan sa gitna mo. 16At ikaw ay malalapastangan sa iyong sarili, sa paningin ng mga bansa; at iyong malalaman na ako ang Panginoon. 17At ang salita ng Panginoon ay dumating sa akin, na nagsasabi, 18Anak ng tao, ang sangbahayan ni Israel ay naging dumi ng bakal sa akin: silang lahat ay tanso at lata at bakal at tingga, sa gitna ng hurno; sila ay naging dumi ng pilak. 19Kaya't ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios, Sapagka't kayong lahat ay naging dumi ng bakal, kaya't narito, aking pipisanin kayo sa gitna ng Jerusalem. 20Kung paanong kanilang pinipisan ang pilak at ang tanso at ang bakal at ang tingga at ang lata sa gitna ng hurno, upang hipan ng apoy, upang tunawin; gayon ko kayo pipisanin sa aking galit at sa aking kapusukan, at aking ilalapag kayo roon, at pupugnawin ko kayo. 21Oo, aking pipisanin kayo, at hihipan ko kayo sa pamamagitan ng apoy ng aking poot, at kayo'y mangapupugnaw sa gitna niyaon. 22Kung paanong ang pilak ay natutunaw sa gitna ng hurno, gayon kayo mangatutunaw sa gitna niyaon; at inyong malalaman na akong Panginoon ang nagbububos ng aking kapusukan sa inyo. 23At ang salita ng Panginoon ay dumating sa akin, na nagsasabi, 24Anak ng tao, sabihin mo sa kaniya, Ikaw ay isang lupain na hindi nilinis, o naulanan man sa kaarawan ng pagkagalit. 25May panghihimagsik ng kaniyang mga propeta sa gitna niyaon, gaya ng leong umuungal na umaagaw ng huli: sila'y nanganakmal ng mga tao; sila'y nagsikuha ng kayamanan at ng mga mahalagang bagay; pinarami nila ang kanilang babaing bao sa gitna niyaon, 26Ang mga saserdote niyaon ay nagsigawa ng pangdadahas sa aking kautusan, at nilapastangan ang aking mga banal na bagay: sila'y hindi nangaglagay ng pagkakaiba sa banal at sa karaniwan, o kanila mang pinapagmunimuni ang mga tao sa marumi at sa malinis, at ikinubli ang kanilang mga mata sa aking mga sabbath, at ako'y nalapastangan sa gitna nila. 27Ang mga prinsipe sa gitna niyaon ay parang mga lobo na nangangagaw ng huli, upang mangagbubo ng dugo, at upang magpahamak ng mga tao, upang sila'y mangagkaroon ng mahalay na pakinabang. 28At itinapal ng mga propeta niyaon ang masamang argamasa para sa kanila, na nakakita ng walang kabuluhan, at nanganghuhula ng mga kabulaanan sa kanila, na nangagsabi, Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios, dangang hindi sinalita ng Panginoon. 29Ang bayan ng lupain ay gumawa ng pagpighati, at nagnakaw; oo, kanilang pinagdalamhati ang dukha at mapagkailangan, at pinighati ng wala sa katuwiran ang taga ibang lupa. 30At ako'y humanap ng lalake sa gitna nila, na makakagawa ng bakod, at makatatayo sa sira sa harap ko dahil sa lupain, upang huwag kong ipahamak; nguni't wala akong nasumpungan. 31Kaya't aking ibinuhos ang aking galit sa kanila; aking sinupok sila ng apoy ng aking poot: ang kanilang sariling lakad ay aking pinarating sa kanilang mga ulo, sabi ng Panginoong Dios.
1Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2You, son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? then cause her to know all her abominations. 3You shall say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: A city that sheds blood in the midst of her, that her time may come, and that makes idols against herself to defile her! 4You have become guilty in your blood that you have shed, and are defiled in your idols which you have made; and you have caused your days to draw near, and have come even to your years: therefore have I made you a reproach to the nations, and a mocking to all the countries. 5Those who are near, and those who are far from you, shall mock you, you infamous one, full of tumult. 6Behold, the princes of Israel, everyone according to his power, have been in you to shed blood. 7In you have they set light by father and mother; in your midst have they dealt by oppression with the foreigner; in you have they wronged the fatherless and the widow. 8You have despised my holy things, and have profaned my Sabbaths. 9Slanderous men have been in you to shed blood; and in you they have eaten on the mountains: in your midst they have committed lewdness. 10In you have they uncovered their fathers’ nakedness; in you have they humbled her who was unclean in her impurity. 11One has committed abomination with his neighbor’s wife; and another has lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law; and another in you has humbled his sister, his father’s daughter. 12In you have they taken bribes to shed blood; you have taken interest and increase, and you have greedily gained of your neighbors by oppression, and have forgotten me, says the Lord Yahweh. 13Behold, therefore, I have struck my hand at your dishonest gain which you have made, and at your blood which has been in your midst. 14Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with you? I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and will do it. 15I will scatter you among the nations, and disperse you through the countries; and I will consume your filthiness out of you. 16You shall be profaned in yourself, in the sight of the nations; and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 17Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 18Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me: all of them are brass and tin and iron and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are the dross of silver. 19Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have all become dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. 20As they gather silver and brass and iron and lead and tin into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire on it, to melt it; so will I gather you in my anger and in my wrath, and I will lay you there, and melt you. 21Yes, I will gather you, and blow on you with the fire of my wrath, and you shall be melted in its midst. 22As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so you will be melted in its midst; and you will know that I, Yahweh, have poured out my wrath on you. 23Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 24Son of man, tell her, You are a land that is not cleansed, nor rained on in the day of indignation. 25There is a conspiracy of her prophets in its midst, like a roaring lion ravening the prey: they have devoured souls; they take treasure and precious things; they have made her widows many in its midst. 26Her priests have done violence to my law, and have profaned my holy things: they have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they caused men to discern between the unclean and the clean, and have hidden their eyes from my Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. 27Her princes in its midst are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, that they may get dishonest gain. 28Her prophets have plastered for them with whitewash, seeing false visions, and divining lies to them, saying, Thus says the Lord Yahweh, when Yahweh has not spoken. 29The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery; yes, they have troubled the poor and needy, and have oppressed the foreigner wrongfully. 30I sought for a man among them, who should build up the wall, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. 31Therefore have I poured out my indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I brought on their heads, says the Lord Yahweh.
1Verder geschiedde des HEEREN woord tot mij, zeggende: 2Gij nu, mensenkind, zoudt gij der bloedstad recht geven? Zoudt gij ze recht geven? Ja, maak haar bekend al haar gruwelen. 3En zeg: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: O stad, die in haar midden bloed vergiet, opdat haar tijd kome, en drekgoden tegen zichzelve maakt, om zich te verontreinigen! 4Door uw bloed, dat gij vergoten hebt, zijt gij schuldig geworden, en met uw drekgoden, die gij gemaakt hebt, hebt gij u verontreinigd, en hebt uw dagen doen naderen, en zijt tot uw jaren gekomen; daarom heb Ik u den heidenen overgegeven tot een smaad, en allen landen tot een spot. 5Die nabij en verre van u zijn, zullen u bespotten, gij onreine van naam en vol van onrust! 6Ziet, de vorsten Israels zijn in u geweest, een ieder naar zijn kracht, om bloed te vergieten. 7Vader en moeder hebben zij in u licht geacht; met den vreemdeling hebben zij in het midden van u door verdrukking gehandeld; zij hebben in u den wees en de weduwe verdrukt. 8Mijn heilige dingen hebt gij veracht, en Mijn sabbatten hebt gij ontheiligd. 9Achterklappers zijn in u geweest om bloed te vergieten, en in u hebben zij op de bergen gegeten, zij hebben schandelijkheid in het midden van u gedaan. 10Men heeft de schaamte des vaders in u ontdekt; die onrein was door afzondering, hebben zij in u verkracht. 11Daartoe heeft de een gruwel gedaan met zijns naasten huisvrouw, en een ander heeft zijns zoons vrouw met schandelijkheid verontreinigd; nog een ander heeft in u zijn zuster, zijns vaders dochter; verkracht. 12Zij hebben geschenken in u genomen, om bloed te vergieten; woeker en overwinst hebt gij genomen, en gij hebt gierigheid gepleegd aan uw naaste door verdrukking; maar gij hebt Mijner vergeten, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 13Ziet dan, Ik heb Mijn hand geslagen, om uw gierigheid, die gij bedreven hebt, en om uw bloed, die in het midden van u geweest zijn. 14Zal uw hart bestaan? zullen uw handen sterk zijn, in de dagen, als Ik met u handelen zal? Ik, de HEERE, heb het gesproken, en zal het doen. 15En Ik zal u verstrooien onder de heidenen, en u verspreiden in de landen, en uw ontreinigheid uit u verteren. 16Zo zult gij in u ontheiligd zijn voor de ogen der heidenen; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 17Wijders geschiedde des HEEREN woord tot mij, zeggende: 18Mensenkind, die van het huis Israels zijn Mij tot schuim geworden; zij zijn allen koper, of tin, of ijzer, of lood, in het midden des ovens; zilverschuim zijn zij geworden. 19Daarom, alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat gijlieden allen tot schuim geworden zijt, daarom ziet, Ik zal u in het midden van Jeruzalem vergaderen. 20Gelijk zilver, of koper, of ijzer, of lood, of tin in het midden eens ovens vergaderd wordt, om het vuur daarover op te blazen, opdat men het smelte; alzo zal Ik ulieden vergaderen in Mijn toorn, en in Mijn grimmigheid daar laten, en smelten. 21Ja, Ik zal u bijeenbrengen, en zal op u blazen in het vuur Mijner verbolgenheid, dat gij in het midden van haar zult gesmolten worden. 22Gelijk het zilver in het midden des ovens gesmolten wordt, alzo zult gijlieden in het midden van haar gesmolten worden; en gij zult weten, dat Ik, de HEERE, Mijn grimmigheid over u uitgegoten heb. 23Voorts geschiedde des HEEREN woord tot mij, zeggende: 24Mensenkind, zeg tot haar; Gij zijt een land, dat niet gereinigd is, dat zijn plasregen niet heeft gehad ten dage der gramschap. 25De verbintenis harer profeten is in het midden van haar als een brullende leeuw, die een roof rooft; zij eten de zielen op, den schat en het kostelijke nemen zij weg; haar weduwen vermenigvuldigen zij in het midden van haar. 26Haar priesters doen Mijn wet geweld aan, en zij ontheiligen Mijn heilige dingen; tussen het heilige en het onheilige maken zij geen onderscheid, en het verschil tussen het onreine en reine geven zij niet te kennen; daartoe verbergen zij hun ogen van Mijn sabbatten; ja, Ik word in het midden van hen ontheiligd. 27Haar vorsten zijn in het midden van haar als wolven, die een roof roven, om bloed te vergieten, en om zielen te verderven; opdat zij gierigheid zouden plegen. 28Haar profeten nu pleisteren hen met loze kalk; ziende ijdelheid en hun leugen voorzeggende, zeggende: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE! en de HEERE heeft niet gesproken. 29Het volk des lands pleegt enkel verdrukking, en bedrijft enkel roverij, ook onderdrukken zij den ellendige en nooddruftige, en den vreemdeling verdrukken zij zonder recht. 30Ik zocht nu een man uit hen, die den muur mocht toemuren, en voor Mijn aangezicht in de bresse staan voor het land, opdat Ik het niet mocht verderven; maar Ik vond niemand. 31Daarom heb Ik Mijn gramschap over hen uitgegoten; door het vuur Mijner verbolgenheid heb Ik hen verteerd; hun weg heb Ik op hun hoofd gegeven, spreekt de Heere HEERE.
