Ezekiel 15

1At ang salita ng Panginoon ay dumating sa akin, na nagsasabi. 2Anak ng tao, ano ang higit ng puno ng baging kay sa alin mang puno ng kahoy, ng sanga ng puno ng baging na nasa gitna ng mga punong kahoy sa gubat? 3Makakakuha baga ng kahoy doon upang gawing anomang kayarian? o makakakuha baga roon ang mga tao ng tulos upang mapagsabitan ng anomang kasangkapan? 4Narito, inihahagis sa apoy na parang panggatong; sinusupok ng apoy ang dalawang dulo niyaon, at ang gitna niyao'y nasusunog; magagamit baga sa anomang gawain? 5Narito, ng buo pa, hindi nagagamit sa anomang gawain: gaano pa nga kaya, pagka nasupok ng apoy, at nasunog, magagamit pa baga sa anomang gawain? 6Kaya't ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios, Kung paano ang puno ng baging sa gitna ng mga puno ng kahoy sa gubat, na aking ibinigay sa apoy na panggatong, gayon ko ibibigay ang mga nananahan sa Jerusalem. 7At aking ititingin ang aking mukha laban sa kanila: sila'y magsisilabas sa apoy, nguni't susupukin sila ng apoy; at inyong malalaman na ako ang Panginoon, pagka aking itiningin ang aking mukha laban sa kanila. 8At aking sisirain ang lupain, sapagka't sila'y gumawa ng pagsalangsang, sabi ng Panginoong Dios.

1Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2Son of man, what is the vine tree more than any tree, the vine-branch which is among the trees of the forest? 3Will wood be taken of it to make anything? Will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel on it? 4Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire has devoured both its ends, and its midst is burned: is it profitable for any work? 5Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less, when the fire has devoured it, and it is burned, shall it yet be meet for any work! 6Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 7I will set my face against them; they shall go out from the fire, but the fire shall devour them; and you shall know that I am Yahweh, when I set my face against them. 8I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, says the Lord Yahweh.

1En des HEEREN woord geschiedde tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind, wat is het hout des wijnstoks meer dan alle hout, of de wijnrank meer dan dat onder het hout eens wouds is? 3Wordt daarvan hout genomen, om een stuk werk te maken? Neemt men daarvan een pin, om enig vat daaraan te hangen? 4Ziet, het wordt aan het vuur overgegeven, opdat het verteerd worde; het vuur verteert beide zijn einden, en zijn middelste wordt verbrand; zou het deugen tot een stuk werks? 5Ziet, toen het geheel was, werd het tot geen stuk werks gemaakt; hoeveel te min als het vuur dat verteerd heeft, zodat het verbrand is, zal het dan nog tot een stuk werks gemaakt worden? 6Daarom, alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Gelijk als het hout des wijnstoks is onder het hout des wouds, hetwelk Ik aan het vuur overgeef, opdat het verteerd worde, alzo zal Ik de inwoners van Jeruzalem overgeven. 7Want Ik zal Mijn aangezicht tegen hen zetten; als zij van het ene vuur uitgaan, zal het andere vuur hen verteren; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, als Ik Mijn aangezicht tegen hen gesteld zal hebben. 8En Ik zal het land woest maken, omdat zij zwaarlijk overtreden hebben, spreekt de Heere HEERE.
