1L’Eterno parlò a Mosè, dicendo: 2"Il primo giorno del primo mese erigerai il tabernacolo, la tenda di convegno. 3Vi porrai l’arca della testimonianza, e stenderai il velo dinanzi all’arca. 4Vi porterai dentro la tavola, e disporrai in ordine le cose che vi son sopra; vi porterai pure il candelabro e accenderai le sue lampade. 5Porrai l’altare d’oro per i profumi davanti all’arca della testimonianza e metterai la portiera all’ingresso del tabernacolo. 6Porrai l’altare degli olocausti davanti all’ingresso del tabernacolo, della tenda di convegno. 7Metterai la conca fra la tenda di convegno e l’altare, e vi metterai dentro dell’acqua. 8Stabilirai il cortile tutt’intorno, e attaccherai la portiera all’ingresso del cortile. 9Poi prenderai l’olio dell’unzione e ungerai il tabernacolo e tutto ciò che v’è dentro, lo consacrerai con tutti i suoi utensili, e sarà santo. 10Ungerai pure l’altare degli olocausti e tutti i suoi utensili, consacrerai l’altare, e l’altare sarà santissimo. 11Ungerai anche la conca con la sua base, e la consacrerai. 12Poi farai accostare Aaronne e i suoi figliuoli all’ingresso della tenda di convegno, e li laverai con acqua. 13Rivestirai Aaronne de’ paramenti sacri, e lo ungerai e lo consacrerai, perché mi eserciti l’ufficio di sacerdote. 14Farai pure accostare i suoi figliuoli, li rivestirai di tuniche, 15e li ungerai come avrai unto il loro padre, perché mi esercitino l’ufficio di sacerdoti; e la loro unzione conferirà loro un sacerdozio perpetuo, di generazione in generazione". 16E Mosè fece così; fece interamente come l’Eterno gli aveva ordinato. 17E il primo giorno del primo mese del secondo anno, il tabernacolo fu eretto. 18Mosè eresse il tabernacolo, ne pose le basi, ne collocò le assi, ne mise le traverse e ne rizzò le colonne. 19Stese la tenda sul tabernacolo, e sopra la tenda pose la coperta d’essa, come l’Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè. 20Poi prese la testimonianza e la pose dentro l’arca, mise le stanghe all’arca, e collocò il propiziatorio sull’arca; 21portò l’arca nel tabernacolo, sospese il velo di separazione e coprì con esso l’arca della testimonianza, come l’Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè. 22Pose pure la tavola nella tenda di convegno, dal lato settentrionale del tabernacolo, fuori del velo. 23Vi dispose sopra in ordine il pane, davanti all’Eterno, come l’Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè. 24Poi mise il candelabro nella tenda di convegno, dirimpetto alla tavola, dal lato meridionale del tabernacolo; 25e accese le lampade davanti all’Eterno, come l’Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè. 26Poi mise l’altare d’oro nella tenda di convegno, davanti al velo, 27e vi bruciò su il profumo fragrante, come l’Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè. 28Mise pure la portiera all’ingresso del tabernacolo. 29Poi collocò l’altare degli olocausti all’ingresso del tabernacolo della tenda di convegno, e v’offrì sopra l’olocausto e l’oblazione, come l’Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè. 30E pose la conca fra la tenda di convegno e l’altare, e vi pose dentro dell’acqua per le abluzioni. 31E Mosè ed Aaronne e i suoi figliuoli vi si lavarono le mani e i piedi; 32quando entravano nella tenda di convegno e quando s’accostavano all’altare, si lavavano, come l’Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè. 33Eresse pure il cortile attorno al tabernacolo e all’altare, e sospese la portiera all’ingresso dei cortile. Così Mosè compié l’opera. 34Allora la nuvola coprì la tenda di convegno, e la gloria dell’Eterno riempì il tabernacolo. 35E Mosè non poté entrare nella tenda di convegno perché la nuvola vi s’era posata sopra, e la gloria dell’Eterno riempiva il tabernacolo. 36Or durante tutti i loro viaggi quando la nuvola s’alzava di sul tabernacolo, i figliuoli d’Israele partivano; 37ma se la nuvola non s’alzava, non partivano fino al giorno che s’alzasse. 38Poiché la nuvola dell’Eterno stava sul tabernacolo durante il giorno; e di notte vi stava un fuoco, a vista di tutta la casa d’Israele durante tutti i loro viaggi.

1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2“On the first day of the first month you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting. 3You shall put the ark of the testimony in it, and you shall screen the ark with the veil. 4You shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are on it. You shall bring in the lamp stand, and light its lamps. 5You shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle. 6“You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting. 7You shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein. 8You shall set up the court around it, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court. 9“You shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shall make it holy, and all its furniture: and it will be holy. 10You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and the altar will be most holy. 11You shall anoint the basin and its base, and sanctify it. 12“You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water. 13You shall put on Aaron the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office. 14You shall bring his sons, and put coats on them. 15You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.” 16Moses did so. According to all that Yahweh commanded him, so he did. 17In the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was raised up. 18Moses raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its pillars. 19He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tabernacle above on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 20He took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark. 21He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 22He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside of the veil. 23He set the bread in order on it before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 24He put the lamp stand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward. 25He lit the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 26He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil; 27and he burnt incense of sweet spices on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 28He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle. 29He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 30He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash. 31Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet there. 32When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as Yahweh commanded Moses. 33He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work. 34Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle. 35Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle. 36When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys; 37but if the cloud wasn’t taken up, then they didn’t travel until the day that it was taken up. 38For the cloud of Yahweh was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

1Verder sprak de HEERE tot Mozes, zeggende: 2Op den dag der eerste maand, te weten op den eersten der maand, zult gij den tabernakel, de tent der samenkomst, oprichten. 3En gij zult aldaar zetten de ark der getuigenis; en gij zult de ark met de voorhang bedekken. 4Daarna zult gij de tafel daarin brengen, en gij zult schikken wat daarop te schikken is; gij zult ook den kandelaar daarin brengen, en zijn lampen aansteken. 5En gij zult het gouden altaar ten reukwerk voor de ark der getuigenis zetten, dan zult gij het deksel van de deur des tabernakels ophangen. 6Gij zult ook het altaar des brandoffers zetten voor de deur van den tabernakel, van de tent der samenkomst. 7En gij zult het wasvat zetten tussen de tent der samenkomst, en tussen het altaar; en gij zult water daar in doen. 8Daarna zult gij den voorhof rondom zetten, en gij zult het deksel ophangen aan de poort des voorhofs. 9Dan zult gij de zalfolie nemen en zalven den tabernakel, en al wat daarin is; en gij zult dezelven heiligen, met al zijn gereedschap, en het zal een heiligheid zijn. 10Gij zult ook het altaar des brandoffers zalven, en al zijn gereedschap; en gij zult het altaar heiligen, en het altaar zal heiligheid der heiligheden zijn. 11Dan zult gij het wasvat zalven, en deszelfs voet; en gij zult het heiligen. 12Gij zult ook Aaron en zijn zonen doen naderen, tot de deur van de tent der samenkomst; en gij zult hen met water wassen. 13En gij zult Aaron de heilige klederen aantrekken; en gij zult hem zalven, en hem heiligen, dat hij Mij het priesterambt bediene. 14Gij zult ook zijn zonen doen naderen, en zult hun de rokken aantrekken. 15En gij zult hen zalven, gelijk als gij hun vader zult gezalfd hebben, dat zij Mij het priesterambt bedienen. En het zal geschieden, dat hun hun zalving zal zijn tot een eeuwig priesterdom bij hun geslachten. 16Mozes nu deed het naar alles, wat hem de HEERE geboden had; alzo deed hij. 17En het geschiedde in de eerste maand, in het tweede jaar, op den eersten der maand, dat de tabernakel opgericht werd. 18Want Mozes richtte den tabernakel op, en zette zijn voeten, en stelde zijn berderen, en zette zijn richelen daaraan, en hij richtte deszelfs pilaren op. 19En hij spreidde de tent uit over den tabernakel, en hij zette het deksel der tent daar bovenop, gelijk als de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 20Voorts nam hij, en legde de getuigenis in de ark, en deed de handbomen aan de ark, en hij zette het verzoendeksel boven op de ark. 21En hij bracht de ark in den tabernakel, en hij hing den voorhang van het deksel op, en bedekte de ark der getuigenis, gelijk als de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 22Hij zette ook de tafel in de tent der samenkomst, aan de zijde des tabernakels tegen het noorden, buiten den voorhang. 23En hij schikte daarop het brood in orde, voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, gelijk als de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 24Hij zette ook den kandelaar in de tent der samenkomst, recht over de tafel, aan de zijde des tabernakels, zuidwaarts. 25En hij stak de lampen aan voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, gelijk als de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 26En hij zette het gouden altaar in de tent der samenkomst, voor den voorhang. 27En hij stak daarop aan reukwerk van welriekende specerijen, gelijk als de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 28Hij hing ook het deksel van de deur des tabernakels. 29En hij zette het altaar des brandoffers aan de deur des tabernakels, van de tent der samenkomst; en hij offerde daarop brandoffer, en spijsoffer, gelijk de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 30Hij zette ook het wasvat tussen de tent der samenkomst, en tussen het altaar; en hij deed water daarin om te wassen. 31En Mozes en Aaron, en zijn zonen wiesen daaruit hun handen en hun voeten. 32Als zij ingingen tot de tent der samenkomst, en als zij tot het altaar naderden, zo wiesen zij zich, gelijk als de HEERE aan Mozes geboden had. 33Hij richtte ook den voorhof op, rondom den tabernakel en het altaar, en hij hing het deksel van de poort des voorhofs op. Alzo voleindigde Mozes het werk. 34Toen bedekte de wolk de tent der samenkomst; en de heerlijkheid des HEEREN vervulde den tabernakel. 35Zodat Mozes niet kon ingaan in de tent der samenkomst, dewijl de wolk daarop bleef, en de heerlijkheid des HEEREN den tabernakel vervulde. 36Als nu de wolk opgeheven werd van boven den tabernakel, zo reisden de kinderen Israels voort in al hun reizen. 37Maar als de wolk niet opgeheven werd, zo reisden zij niet tot op den dag, dat zij opgeheven werd. 38Want de wolk des HEEREN was op den tabernakel bij dag, en het vuur was er bij nacht op, voor de ogen van het ganse huis Israels in al hun reizen.
