1La parole de l’Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots : 2Fils de l’homme, prophétise contre les pasteurs d’Israël ! Prophétise, et dis-leur, aux pasteurs : Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel : Malheur aux pasteurs d’Israël, qui se paissaient eux-mêmes ! Les pasteurs ne devaient-ils pas paître le troupeau ? 3Vous avez mangé la graisse, vous vous êtes vêtus avec la laine, vous avez tué ce qui était gras, vous n’avez point fait paître les brebis. 4Vous n’avez pas fortifié celles qui étaient faibles, guéri celle qui était malade, pansé celle qui était blessée ; vous n’avez pas ramené celle qui s’égarait, cherché celle qui était perdue ; mais vous les avez dominées avec violence et avec dureté. 5Elles se sont dispersées, parce qu’elles n’avaient point de pasteur ; elles sont devenues la proie de toutes les bêtes des champs, elles se sont dispersées. 6Mon troupeau est errant sur toutes les montagnes et sur toutes les collines élevées, mon troupeau est dispersé sur toute la face du pays ; nul n’en prend souci, nul ne le cherche. 7C’est pourquoi, pasteurs, écoutez la parole de l’Éternel ! 8Je suis vivant ! dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel, parce que mes brebis sont au pillage et qu’elles sont devenues la proie de toutes les bêtes des champs, faute de pasteur, parce que mes pasteurs ne prenaient aucun souci de mes brebis, qu’ils se paissaient eux-mêmes, et ne faisaient point paître mes brebis, - 9à cause de cela, pasteurs, écoutez la parole de l’Éternel ! 10Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel : Voici, j’en veux aux pasteurs ! Je reprendrai mes brebis d’entre leurs mains, je ne les laisserai plus paître mes brebis, et ils ne se paîtront plus eux-mêmes ; je délivrerai mes brebis de leur bouche, et elles ne seront plus pour eux une proie. 11Car ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel : Voici, j’aurai soin moi-même de mes brebis, et j’en ferai la revue. 12Comme un pasteur inspecte son troupeau quand il est au milieu de ses brebis éparses, ainsi je ferai la revue de mes brebis, et je les recueillerai de tous les lieux où elles ont été dispersées au jour des nuages et de l’obscurité. 13Je les retirerai d’entre les peuples, je les rassemblerai des diverses contrées, et je les ramènerai dans leur pays ; je les ferai paître sur les montagnes d’Israël, le long des ruisseaux, et dans tous les lieux habités du pays. 14Je les ferai paître dans un bon pâturage, et leur demeure sera sur les montagnes élevées d’Israël ; là elles reposeront dans un agréable asile, et elles auront de gras pâturages sur les montagnes d’Israël. 15C’est moi qui ferai paître mes brebis, c’est moi qui les ferai reposer, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel. 16Je chercherai celle qui était perdue, je ramènerai celle qui était égarée, je panserai celle qui est blessée, et je fortifierai celle qui est malade. Mais je détruirai celles qui sont grasses et vigoureuses. Je veux les paître avec justice. 17Et vous, mes brebis, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel : Voici, je jugerai entre brebis et brebis, entre béliers et boucs. 18Est-ce trop peu pour vous de paître dans le bon pâturage, pour que vous fouliez de vos pieds le reste de votre pâturage ? de boire une eau limpide, pour que vous troubliez le reste avec vos pieds ? 19Et mes brebis doivent paître ce que vos pieds ont foulé, et boire ce que vos pieds ont troublé ! 20C’est pourquoi ainsi leur parle le Seigneur, l’Éternel : Voici, je jugerai entre la brebis grasse et la brebis maigre. 21Parce que vous avez heurté avec le côté et avec l’épaule, et frappé de vos cornes toutes les brebis faibles, jusqu’à ce que vous les ayez chassées, 22je porterai secours à mes brebis, afin qu’elles ne soient plus au pillage, et je jugerai entre brebis et brebis. 23J’établirai sur elles un seul pasteur, qui les fera paître, mon serviteur David ; il les fera paître, il sera leur pasteur. 24Moi, l’Éternel, je serai leur Dieu, et mon serviteur David sera prince au milieu d’elles. Moi, l’Éternel, j’ai parlé. 25Je traiterai avec elles une alliance de paix, et je ferai disparaître du pays les animaux sauvages ; elles habiteront en sécurité dans le désert, et dormiront au milieu des forêts. 26Je ferai d’elles et des environs de ma colline un sujet de bénédiction ; j’enverrai la pluie en son temps, et ce sera une pluie de bénédiction. 27L’arbre des champs donnera son fruit, et la terre donnera ses produits. Elles seront en sécurité dans leur pays ; et elles sauront que je suis l’Éternel, quand je briserai les liens de leur joug, et que je les délivrerai de la main de ceux qui les asservissaient. 28Elles ne seront plus au pillage parmi les nations, les bêtes de la terre ne les dévoreront plus, elles habiteront en sécurité, et il n’y aura personne pour les troubler. 29J’établirai pour elles une plantation qui aura du renom ; elles ne seront plus consumées par la faim dans le pays, et elles ne porteront plus l’opprobre des nations. 30Et elles sauront que moi, l’Éternel, leur Dieu, je suis avec elles, et qu’elles sont mon peuple, elles, la maison d’Israël, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel. 31Vous, mes brebis, brebis de mon pâturage, vous êtes des hommes ; moi, je suis votre Dieu, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
1Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and tell them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed the sheep? 3You eat the fat, and you clothe yourself with the wool, you kill the fatlings; but you don’t feed the sheep. 4You haven’t strengthened the diseased, neither have you healed that which was sick, neither have you bound up that which was broken, neither have you brought back that which was driven away, neither have you sought that which was lost; but with force and with rigor you have ruled over them. 5They were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food to all the animals of the field, and were scattered. 6My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill: yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth; and there was no one who searched or sought. 7Therefore, you shepherds, hear Yahweh’s word: 8As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the animals of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and didn’t feed my sheep; 9therefore, you shepherds, hear Yahweh’s word: 10Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them. 11For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out. 12As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. 13I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14I will feed them with good pasture; and on the mountains of the height of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie down in a good fold; and on fat pasture shall they feed on the mountains of Israel. 15I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down, says the Lord Yahweh. 16I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but the fat and the strong I will destroy; I will feed them in justice. 17As for you, O my flock, thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, the rams and the male goats. 18Does it seem a small thing to you to have fed on the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture? and to have drunk of the clear waters, but you must foul the residue with your feet? 19As for my sheep, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet, and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet. 20Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh to them: Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep. 21Because you thrust with side and with shoulder, and push all the diseased with your horns, until you have scattered them abroad; 22therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep. 23I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. 24I, Yahweh, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them; I, Yahweh, have spoken it. 25I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. 26I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing. 27The tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them. 28They shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the animals of the earth devour them; but they shall dwell securely, and no one shall make them afraid. 29I will raise up to them a plantation for renown, and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land, neither bear the shame of the nations any more. 30They shall know that I, Yahweh, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord Yahweh. 31You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord Yahweh.
1En des HEEREN woord geschiedde tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind! profeteer tegen de herders van Israel; profeteer en zeg tot hen, tot de herders: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Wee den herderen Israels, die zichzelven weiden! zullen niet de herders de schapen weiden? 3Gij eet het vette, en bekleedt u met de wol, gij slacht het gemeste, maar de schapen weidt gij niet. 4De zwakke sterkt gij niet, en het kranke heelt gij niet, en het gebrokene verbindt gij niet, en het weggedrevene brengt gij niet weder, en het verlorene zoekt gij niet; maar gij heerst over hen met strengheid en met hardigheid. 5Alzo zijn zij verstrooid, omdat er geen herder is; en zij zijn als het wild gedierte des velds tot spijze geworden, dewijl zij verstrooid waren. 6Mijn schapen dolen op alle bergen en op allen hogen heuvel, ja, Mijn schapen zijn verstrooid op den gansen aardbodem; en er is niemand, die er naar vraagt, en niemand, die ze zoekt. 7Daarom, gij herders! hoort des HEEREN woord! 8Zo waarachtig als Ik leef, spreekt de Heere HEERE, zo Ik niet! Omdat Mijn schapen geworden zijn tot een roof, en Mijn schapen al het wild gedierte des velds tot spijze geworden zijn, omdat er geen herder is, en Mijn herders naar Mijn schapen niet vragen; en de herders weiden zichzelven, maar Mijn schapen weiden zij niet; 9Daarom, gij herders! hoort des HEEREN woord! 10Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ziet, Ik wil aan de herders, en zal Mijn schapen van hun hand eisen, en zal ze van het weiden der schapen doen ophouden, zodat de herders zichzelven niet meer zullen weiden; en Ik zal Mijn schapen uit hun mond rukken, zodat zij hun niet meer tot spijze zullen zijn. 11Want zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ziet, Ik, ja, Ik zal naar Mijn schapen vragen, en zal ze opzoeken. 12Gelijk een herder zijn kudde opzoekt, ten dage als hij in het midden zijner verspreide schapen is, alzo zal Ik Mijn schapen opzoeken; en Ik zal ze redden uit al de plaatsen, waarhenen zij verstrooid zijn, ten dage der wolke en der donkerheid. 13En Ik zal ze uitvoeren van de volken, en zal ze vergaderen uit de landen, en brengen ze in hun land; en Ik zal ze weiden op de bergen Israels, bij de stromen en in alle bewoonbare plaatsen des lands. 14Op een goede weide zal Ik ze weiden, en op de hoge bergen Israels zal hun kooi zijn; aldaar zullen zij nederliggen in een goede kooi, en zullen weiden in een vette weide, op de bergen Israels. 15Ik zal Mijn schapen weiden, en Ik zal ze legeren, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 16Het verlorene zal Ik zoeken, en het weggedrevene zal Ik wederbrengen, en het gebrokene zal Ik verbinden, en het kranke zal Ik sterken; maar het vette en het sterke zal Ik verdelgen, Ik zal ze weiden met oordeel. 17Want gij, o Mijn schapen! de Heere HEERE zegt alzo: Ziet, Ik zal richten tussen klein vee en klein vee, tussen de rammen en de bokken. 18Is het u te weinig, dat gij de goede weide afweidt? Zult gij nog het overige uwer weide met uw voeten vertreden? En zult gij de bezonkene wateren drinken, en de overgelatene met uw voeten vermodderen? 19Mijn schapen dan, zullen zij afweiden, wat met uw voeten vertreden is, en drinken, wat met uw voeten vermodderd is? 20Daarom zegt de Heere HEERE alzo tot hen: Ziet Ik, ja, Ik zal richten tussen het vette klein vee, en tussen het magere klein vee. 21Omdat gij al de zwakken met de zijde en met den schouder verdringt, en met uw hoornen stoot, totdat gij dezelve naar buiten toe verstrooid hebt; 22Daarom zal Ik Mijn schapen verlossen, dat zij niet meer tot een roof zullen zijn; en Ik zal richten tussen klein vee en klein vee. 23En Ik zal een enigen Herder over hen verwekken, en Hij zal hen weiden, namelijk Mijn knecht David; die zal ze weiden, en Die zal hun tot een Herder zijn. 24En Ik, de HEERE, zal hun tot een God zijn; en Mijn knecht David zal Vorst zijn in het midden van hen, Ik, de HEERE, heb het gesproken. 25En Ik zal een verbond des vredes met hen maken, en zal het boos gedierte uit het land doen ophouden; en zij zullen zeker wonen in de woestijn, en slapen in de wouden. 26Want Ik zal dezelve, en de plaatsen rondom Mijn heuvel, stellen tot een zegen; en Ik zal den plasregen doen nederdalen op zijn tijd, plasregens van zegen zullen er zijn. 27En het geboomte des velds zal zijn vrucht geven, en het land zal zijn inkomst geven, en zij zullen zeker zijn in hun land; en zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, als Ik de disselbomen huns juks zal hebben verbroken, en hen gerukt uit de hand dergenen, die zich van hen deden dienen. 28En zij zullen den heidenen niet meer ten roof zijn, en het wild gedierte der aarde zal ze niet meer vreten; maar zij zullen zeker wonen, en er zal niemand zijn, die ze verschrikke. 29En Ik zal hun een plant van naam verwekken; en zij zullen niet meer weggeraapt worden door honger in het land, en den smaad der heidenen niet meer dragen. 30Maar zij zullen weten, dat Ik, de HEERE, hun God, met hen ben, en dat zij Mijn volk zijn, het huis Israels, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 31Gij nu, o Mijn schapen, schapen Mijner weide! gij zijt mensen; maar Ik ben uw God, spreekt de Heere HEERE.
