Y los hijos de Raema: Seba y Dedán. 10Chûs engendró á Nimrod: éste comenzó á ser poderoso en la tierra. 11Misram engendró á Ludim, Ananim, Laabim, Nephtuim, 12Phetrusim y Casluim: de éstos salieron los Filisteos, y los Caphtoreos. 13Canaán engendró á Sidón, su primogénito; 14Y al Hetheo, y al Jebuseo, y al Amorrheo, y al Gergeseo; 15Y al Heveo, y al Araceo, y al Sineo; 16Al Aradeo, y al Samareo, y al Hamatheo. 17Los hijos de Sem: Elam, Assur, Arphaxad, Lud, Aram, Hus, Hul, Gether, y Mesec. 18Arphaxad engendró á Sela, y Sela engendró á Heber. 19Y á Heber nacieron dos hijos: el nombre del uno fué Peleg, por cuanto en sus días fué dividida la tierra; y el nombre de su hermano fué Joctán. 20Y Joctán engendró á Elmodad, Seleph, Asarmaveth, y Jera, 21A Adoram también, á Uzal, Dicla, 22Hebal, Abimael, Seba, 23Ophir, Havila, y Jobab: todos hijos de Joctán. 24Sem, Arphaxad, Sela, 25Heber, Peleg, Reu, 26Serug, Nachôr, Thare, 27Y Abram, el cual es Abraham. 28Los hijos de Abraham: Isaac é Ismael. 29Y estas son sus descendencias: el primogénito de Ismael, Nabajoth; después Cedar, Adbeel, Misam, 30Misma, Duma, Maasa, Hadad, Thema, Jetur, Naphis, y Cedma. Estos son los hijos de Ismael. 31Y Cethura, concubina de Abraham, parió á Zimram, Jocsán, Medán, Madián, Isbac, y á Súa. 32Los hijos de Jobsán: Seba y Dedán. 33Los hijos de Madián: Epha, Epher, Henoch, Abida, y Eldaa; todos estos fueron hijos de Cethura. 34Y Abraham engendró á Isaac: y los hijos de Isaac fueron Esaú é Israel. 35Los hijos de Esaú: Eliphas, Rehuel, Jeus, Jalam, y Cora. 36Los hijos de Eliphas: Themán, Omar, Sephi, Hatham, Chênas, Timna, y Amalec. 37Los hijos de Rehuel: Nahath, Zera, Samma, y Mizza. 38Los hijos de Seir: Lotán, Sobal, Sibeón, Ana, Disón, Eser, y Disán. 39Los hijos de Lotán: Hori, y Homam: y Timna fué hermana de Lotán. 40Los hijos de Sobal: Alian, Manahach, Ebal, Sephi y Oman. Los hijos de Disán: Hus y Arán. 43Y estos son los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edom, antes que reinase rey sobre los hijos de Israel: Belah, hijo de Beor; y el nombre de su ciudad fué Dinaba. 44Y muerto Belah, reinó en su lugar Jobab hijo de Zera, de Bosra. 45Y muerto Jobab, reinó en su lugar Husam, de la tierra de los Themanos. 46Muerto Husam, reinó en su lugar Adad hijo de Bedad, el cual hirió á Madián en la campaña de Moab: y el nombre de su ciudad fué Avith. 47Muerto Adad, reinó en su lugar Samla, de Masreca. 48Muerto también Samla, reinó en su lugar Saúl de Rehoboth, que está junto al río. 49Y muerto Saúl, reinó en su lugar Baal-hanán hijo de Achbor. 50Y muerto Baal-hanán, reinó en su lugar Adad, el nombre de cuya ciudad fué Pai; y el nombre de su mujer Meetabel, hija de Matred, y ésta de Mezaab. 51Muerto Adad, sucedieron los duques en Edom: el duque Timna, el duque Alia, el duque Jetheth, 52El duque Oholibama, el duque Ela, el duque Phinón, 53El duque Chênaz, el duque Themán, el duque Mibzar, 54El duque Magdiel, el duque Iram. Estos fueron los duques de Edom.

The sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan. 10Cush became the father of Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth. 11Mizraim became the father of Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim, 12and Pathrusim, and Casluhim (where the Philistines came from), and Caphtorim. 13Canaan became the father of Sidon his firstborn, and Heth, 14and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite, 15and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite, 16and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. 17The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech. 18Arpachshad became the father of Shelah, and Shelah became the father of Eber. 19To Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan. 20Joktan became the father of Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah, 21and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah, 22and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba, 23and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan. 24Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah, 25Eber, Peleg, Reu, 26Serug, Nahor, Terah, 27Abram (the same is Abraham). 28The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishmael. 29These are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam, 30Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema, 31Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael. 32The sons of Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan. 33The sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah. 34Abraham became the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau, and Israel. 35The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah. 36The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek. 37The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. 38The sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan. 39The sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan’s sister. 40The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah. 41The sons of Anah: Dishon. The sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran. 42The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran. 43Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah. 44Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place. 45Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place. 46Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who struck Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Avith. 47Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place. 48Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his place. 49Shaul died, and Baal Hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place. 50Baal Hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Pai: and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab. 51Hadad died. The chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth, 52chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon, 53chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar, 54chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.

De zonen van Izak waren Ezau en Israel. 35En de kinderen van Ezau: Elifaz, Rehuel, en Jehus, en Jaelam, en Korah. 36De kinderen van Elifaz waren Theman, en Omar, Zefi, en Gaetham, Kenaz, en Timna, en Amalek. 37De kinderen van Rehuel waren Nahath, Zerah, Samma en Mizza. 38De kinderen van Seir nu waren Lotan, en Sobal, en Zibeon, en Ana, en Dison, en Ezer, en Disan. 39De kinderen van Lotan nu waren Hori en Homam; en de zuster van Lotan was Timna. 40De kinderen van Sobal waren Aljan, en Manahath, en Ebal, Sefi en Onam; en de kinderen van Zibeon waren Aja en Ana. 41De kinderen van Ana waren Dison; en de zonen van Dison waren Hamram, en Esban, en Jithran, en Cheran. 42De kinderen van Ezer waren Bilhan, en Zaavan, en Jaakan. De kinderen van Disan waren Uz en Aran. 43Dit nu zijn de koningen, die geregeerd hebben in het land van Edom, eer er een koning regeerde over de kinderen Israels: Bela, de zoon van Beor; en de naam zijner stad was Dinhaba. 44En Bela stierf, en Jobab regeerde in zijn plaats, een zoon van Zerah, van Bozra. 45En Jobab stierf, en Husam, uit het land der Themanieten, regeerde in zijn plaats. 46En Husam stierf, en Hadad, de zoon van Bedad, regeerde in zijn plaats, die de Midianieten in het veld van Moab versloeg; en den naam zijner stad was Avith. 47En Hadad stierf, en Samla, van Masreka, regeerde in zijn plaats. 48En Samla stierf, en Saul, van Rehoboth aan de rivier, regeerde in zijn plaats. 49En Saul stierf, en Baal-Hanan, de zoon van Achbor, regeerde in zijn plaats. 50Als Baal-Hanan stierf, zo regeerde Hadad in zijn plaats, en de naam zijner stad was Pahi, en de naam zijner huisvrouw was Mehetabeel, de dochter van Matred, dochter van Mee-Sahab. 51Toen Hadad stierf, zo werden vorsten in Edom: de vorst Timna, de vorst Alja, de vorst Jetheth, 52De vorst Aholibama, de vorst Ela, de vorst Pinon, 53De vorst Kenaz, de vorst Theman, de vorst Mibzar, 54De vorst Magdiel, de vorst Iram. Dezen waren de vorsten van Edom.
