1CUANTO á los repartimientos de los porteros: De los Coraitas: Meselemia hijo de Coré, de los hijos de Asaph. 2Los hijos de Meselemia: Zachârías el primogénito, Jediael el segundo, Zebadías el tercero, Jatnael el cuarto; 3Elam el quinto, Johanam el sexto, Elioenai el séptimo. 4Los hijos de Obed-edom: Semeías el primogénito, Jozabad el segundo, Joab el tercero, el cuarto Sachâr, el quinto Nathanael; 5El sexto Anmiel, el séptimo Issachâr, el octavo Peullethai: porque Dios había bendecido á Obed-edom. 6También de Semeías su hijo nacieron hijos que fueron señores sobre la casa de sus padres; porque eran varones muy valerosos. 7Los hijos de Semeías: Othni, Raphael, Obed, Elzabad, y sus hermanos, hombres esforzados; asimismo Eliú, y Samachîas. 8Todos estos de los hijos de Obed-edom: ellos con sus hijos y sus hermanos, hombres robustos y fuertes para el ministerio; sesenta y dos, de Obed-edom. 9Y los hijos de Meselemia y sus hermanos, dieciocho hombres valientes. 10De Hosa, de los hijos de Merari: Simri el principal, (aunque no era el primogénito, mas su padre lo puso para que fuese cabeza;) 11El segundo Hilcías, el tercero Tebelías, el cuarto Zachârías: todos los hijos de Hosa y sus hermanos fueron trece. 12Entre estos se hizo la distribución de los porteros, alternando los principales de los varones en la guardia con sus hermanos, para servir en la casa de Jehová. 13Y echaron suertes, el pequeño con el grande, por las casas de sus padres, para cada puerta. 14Y cayó la suerte al oriente á Selemía. Y á Zachârías su hijo, consejero entendido, metieron en las suertes: y salió la suerte suya al norte. 15Y por Obed-edom, al mediodía; y por sus hijos, la casa de la consulta. 16Por Suppim y Hosa al occidente, con la puerta de Sallechêt al camino de la subida, guardia contra guardia. 17Al oriente seis Levitas, al norte cuatro de día; al mediodía cuatro de día; y á la casa de la consulta, de dos en dos. 18En la cámara de los vasos al occidente, cuatro al camino, y dos en la cámara. 19Estos son los repartimientos de los porteros, hijos de los Coraitas, y de los hijos de Merari. 20Y de los Levitas, Achîas tenía cargo de los tesoros de la casa de Dios, y de los tesoros de las cosas santificadas. 21Cuanto á los hijos de Ladán, hijos de Gersón: de Ladán, los príncipes de las familias de Ladán fueron Gersón, y Jehieli. 22Los hijos de Jehieli, Zethán y Joel su hermano, tuvieron cargo de los tesoros de la casa de Jehová. 23Acerca de los Amramitas, de los Isharitas, de los Hebronitas, y de los Uzzielitas, 24Sebuel hijo de Gersón, hijo de Moisés, era principal sobre los tesoros. 25En orden á su hermano Eliezer, hijo de éste era Rehabía, hijo de éste Isaías, hijo de éste Joram, hijo de éste Zichri, del que fué hijo Selomith. 26Este Selomith y sus hermanos tenían cargo de todos los tesoros de todas las cosas santificadas, que había consagrado el rey David, y los príncipes de las familias, y los capitanes de millares y de cientos, y los jefes del ejército; 27De lo que habían consagrado de las guerras y de los despojos, para reparar la casa de Jehová. 28Asimismo todas las cosas que había consagrado Samuel vidente, y Saúl hijo de Cis, y Abner hijo de Ner, y Joab hijo de Sarvia: y todo lo que cualquiera consagraba, estaba bajo la mano de Selomith y de sus hermanos. 29De los Isharitas, Chenanía y sus hijos eran gobernadores y jueces sobre Israel en las obras de fuera. 30De los Hebronitas, Hasabías y sus hermanos, hombres de vigor, mil y setecientos, gobernaban á Israel de la otra parte del Jordán, al occidente, en toda la obra de Jehová, y en el servicio del rey. 31De los Hebronitas, Jerías era el principal entre los Hebronitas repartidos en sus linajes por sus familias. En el año cuarenta del reinado de David se registraron, y halláronse entre ellos fuertes y vigorosos en Jazer de Galaad. 32Y sus hermanos, hombres valientes, eran dos mil y setecientos, cabezas de familias, los cuales el rey David constituyó sobre los Rubenitas, Gaditas, y sobre la media tribu de Manasés, para todas las cosas de Dios, y los negocios del rey.

1For the divisions of the doorkeepers: of the Korahites, Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph. 2Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth, 3Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh. 4Obed-Edom had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth, 5Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth; for God blessed him. 6Also to Shemaiah his son were sons born, who ruled over the house of their father; for they were mighty men of valor. 7The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brothers were valiant men, Elihu, and Semachiah. 8All these were of the sons of Obed-Edom: they and their sons and their brothers, able men in strength for the service; sixty-two of Obed-Edom. 9Meshelemiah had sons and brothers, valiant men, eighteen. 10Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him chief), 11Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brothers of Hosah were thirteen. 12Of these were the divisions of the doorkeepers, even of the chief men, having offices like their brothers, to minister in Yahweh’s house. 13They cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to their fathers’ houses, for every gate. 14The lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counselor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward. 15To Obed-Edom southward; and to his sons the storehouse. 16To Shuppim and Hosah westward, by the gate of Shallecheth, at the causeway that goes up, watch against watch. 17Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and for the storehouse two and two. 18For Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar. 19These were the divisions of the doorkeepers; of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari. 20Of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of God’s house, and over the treasures of the dedicated things. 21The sons of Ladan, the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan, the heads of the fathers’ households belonging to Ladan the Gershonite: Jehieli. 22The sons of Jehieli: Zetham, and Joel his brother, over the treasures of Yahweh’s house. 23Of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites: 24and Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler over the treasures. 25His brothers: of Eliezer, Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son. 26This Shelomoth and his brothers were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the heads of the fathers’ households, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the army, had dedicated. 27They dedicated some of the plunder won in battles to repair Yahweh’s house. 28All that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated, whoever had dedicated anything, it was under the hand of Shelomoth, and of his brothers. 29Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges. 30Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, men of valor, one thousand seven hundred, had the oversight of Israel beyond the Jordan westward, for all the business of Yahweh, and for the service of the king. 31Of the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even of the Hebronites, according to their generations by fathers’ households. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valor at Jazer of Gilead. 32His brothers, men of valor, were two thousand seven hundred, heads of fathers’ households, whom king David made overseers over the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God, and for the affairs of the king.

1Aangaande de verdelingen der poortiers: van de Korahieten was Meselemja, de zoon van Kore, van de kinderen van Asaf. 2Meselemja nu had kinderen; Zecharja was de eerstgeborene, Jediael de tweede, Zebadja de derde, Jathniel de vierde, 3Elam de vijfde, Johanan de zesde, Eljoenai de zevende. 4Obed-Edom had ook kinderen: Semaja was de eerstgeborene, Jozabad de tweede, Joah de derde, en Sachar de vierde, en Nethaneel de vijfde. 5Ammiel de zesde, Issaschar de zevende, Peullethai de achtste; want God had hem gezegend. 6Ook werden zijn zoon Semaja kinderen geboren, heersende over het huis huns vaders; want zij waren kloeke helden. 7De kinderen van Semaja waren Othni, en Refael, en Obed, en Elzabad, zijn broeders, kloeke lieden; Elihu, en Semachja. 8Deze allen waren uit de kinderen van Obed-Edom; zij, en hun kinderen, en hun broeders, kloeke mannen in kracht tot den dienst; daar waren er twee en zestig van Obed-Edom. 9Meselemja nu had kinderen en broeders, kloeke lieden, achttien. 10En Hosa, uit de kinderen van Merari, had zonen; Simri was het hoofd; (alhoewel hij de eerstgeborene niet was, nochtans stelde hem zijn vader tot een hoofd). 11Hilkia was de tweede, Tebalja de derde, Zecharja de vierde; al de kinderen en broederen van Hosa waren dertien. 12Uit dezen waren de verdelingen der poortiers onder de hoofden der mannen, tot de wachten tegen hun broederen, om te dienen in het huis des HEEREN. 13En zij wierpen de loten, zo de kleinen als de groten, naar hun vaderlijke huizen, tot elke poort. 14Het lot nu tegen het oosten viel op Salemja; maar voor zijn zoon Zecharja, die een verstandig raadsman was, wierp men de loten, en zijn lot is uitgekomen tegen het noorden; 15Obed-Edom tegen het zuiden; en voor zijn kinderen het huis der schatkameren. 16Suppim en Hosa tegen het westen, met de poort Schallechet, bij den opgaanden hogen weg, wacht tegenover wacht. 17Tegen het oosten waren zes Levieten; tegen het noorden des daags vier; tegen het zuiden des daags vier; maar bij de schatkameren twee en twee. 18Aan Parbar tegen het westen waren er vier bij den hogen weg, twee bij Parbar. 19Dit zijn de verdelingen der poortiers van de kinderen der Korahieten, en der kinderen van Merari. 20Ook was, van de Levieten, Ahia over de schatten van het huis Gods, en over de schatten der geheiligde dingen. 21Van de kinderen van Ladan, kinderen van den Gersonieten Ladan; van Ladan, den Gersoniet, waren hoofden der vaderen Jehieli. 22De kinderen van Jehieli waren Zetham en Joel, zijn broeder; dezen waren over de schatten van het huis des HEEREN. 23Voor de Amramieten, van de Jizharieten, van de Hebronieten, van de Uzzielieten, 24En Sebuel, de zoon van Gersom, den zoon van Mozes, was overste over de schatten. 25Maar zijn broeders van Eliezer waren dezen: Rehabja was zijn zoon, en Jesaja zijn zoon, en Joram zijn zoon, en Zichri zijn zoon, en Selomith zijn zoon. 26Deze Selomith en zijn broederen waren over al de schatten der heilige dingen, die de koning David geheiligd had, mitsgaders de hoofden der vaderen, de oversten over duizenden en honderden, en de oversten des heirs; 27Van de krijgen en van den buit hadden zij het geheiligd, om het huis des HEEREN te onderhouden. 28Ook alles, wat Samuel, de ziener, geheiligd had, en Saul, de zoon van Kis, en Abner, de zoon van Ner, en Joab, de zoon van Zeruja; al wat iemand geheiligd had, was onder de hand van Selomith en zijn broederen. 29Van de Jizharieten waren Chenanja en zijn zonen tot het buitenwerk in Israel, tot ambtlieden en tot rechters. 30Van de Hebronieten was Hasabja, en zijn broeders, kloeke mannen, duizend en zevenhonderd, over de ambten van Israel op deze zijde van de Jordaan tegen het westen, over al het werk des HEEREN, en tot den dienst des konings. 31Van de Hebronieten was Jeria het hoofd, van de Hebronieten zijner geslachten onder de vaderen; in het veertigste jaar des koninkrijks van David zijn er gezocht en onder hen gevonden kloeke helden in Jaezer in Gilead. 32En zijn broeders waren kloeke lieden, twee duizend en zevenhonderd hoofden der vaderen; en de koning David stelde hen over de Rubenieten, en Gadieten, en den halven stam der Manassieten, tot alle zaken Gods en de zaken des konings.
