1Ho vi, ĉiuj soifantoj, iru al la akvo, kaj vi, kiuj ne havas monon; iru, aĉetu, kaj manĝu; iru, aĉetu sen mono kaj sen pago vinon kaj lakton. 2Kial vi donas monon por tio, kio ne estas pano? kaj vian laboron por tio, kio ne satigas? aŭskultu do Min, kaj manĝu bonaĵon, kaj via animo ĝuu grasaĵon. 3Klinu vian orelon, kaj venu al Mi; aŭskultu, por ke vivu via animo; kaj Mi faros kun vi interligon eternan pri la fidindaj korfavoroj, promesitaj al David. 4Jen Mi starigis lin kiel atestanton por la nacioj, kiel princon kaj ordonanton por la gentoj. 5Jen vi vokos popolon, kiun vi ne konas; kaj popolo, kiu vin ne konas, alkuros al vi, pro la Eternulo, via Dio, kaj pro la Sanktulo de Izrael, ĉar Li faris vin glora. 6Serĉu la Eternulon, dum Li estas trovebla; voku Lin, dum Li estas proksime. 7Malpiulo forlasu sian vojon, kaj krimulo siajn intencojn, kaj li returnu sin al la Eternulo, kaj ĉi Tiu lin kompatos, kaj al nia Dio, ĉar Li multe pardonas. 8Ĉar Miaj pensoj ne estas viaj pensoj, kaj viaj vojoj ne estas Miaj vojoj, diras la Eternulo. 9Kiom la ĉielo estas pli alte ol la tero, tiom Miaj vojoj estas pli alte ol viaj vojoj, kaj Miaj pensoj ol viaj pensoj. 10Ĉar kiel la pluvo kaj la neĝo falas de la ĉielo kaj ne revenas tien, sed malsoifigas la teron kaj naskigas kaj produktigas ĝin kaj donas semon al la semanto kaj panon al la manĝanto: 11tiel estos Mia vorto, kiu eliras el Mia buŝo; ĝi ne revenos al Mi vane, sed plenumos Mian volon, kaj sukcesos en tio, por kio Mi ĝin sendis. 12Kun ĝojo vi eliros, kaj kun paco vi estos kondukataj; la montoj kaj montetoj sonigos antaŭ vi kanton, kaj ĉiuj arboj de la kampo plaŭdos per la manoj. 13Anstataŭ pikarbetaĵo elkreskos cipreso, anstataŭ urtiko elkreskos mirto; kaj tio estos gloro por la Eternulo, eterna signo, kiu ne ekstermiĝos.
1“Come, everyone who thirsts, to the waters! Come, he who has no money, buy, and eat! Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. 2Why do you spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which doesn’t satisfy? listen diligently to me, and eat you that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. 3Turn your ear, and come to me; hear, and your soul shall live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. 4Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples. 5Behold, you shall call a nation that you don’t know; and a nation that didn’t know you shall run to you, because of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you.” 6Seek Yahweh while he may be found; call you on him while he is near: 7let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” says Yahweh. 9“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11so shall my word be that goes out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do. 12For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break out before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands. 13Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree; and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to Yahweh for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”
1O alle gij dorstigen! komt tot de wateren, en gij, die geen geld hebt, komt, koopt en eet, ja komt, koopt zonder geld, en zonder prijs, wijn en melk! 2Waarom weegt gijlieden geld uit voor hetgeen geen brood is, en uw arbeid voor hetgeen niet verzadigen kan? Hoort aandachtiglijk naar Mij, en eet het goede, en laat uw ziel in vettigheid zich verlustigen. 3Neigt uw oor, en komt tot Mij, hoort, en uw ziel zal leven; want Ik zal met u een eeuwig verbond maken, en u geven de gewisse weldadigheden van David. 4Ziet, Ik heb hem tot een getuige der volken gegeven, een vorst en gebieder der volken. 5Ziet, gij zult een volk roepen, dat gij niet kendet, en het volk, dat u niet kende, zal tot u lopen, om des HEEREN uws Gods wil, en om des Heiligen Israels wil, want Hij heeft u verheerlijkt. 6Zoekt den HEERE, terwijl Hij te vinden is; roept Hem aan, terwijl Hij nabij is. 7De goddeloze verlate zijn weg, en de ongerechtige man zijn gedachten; en hij bekere zich tot den HEERE, zo zal Hij Zich Zijner ontfermen, en tot onzen God, want Hij vergeeft menigvuldiglijk. 8Want Mijn gedachten zijn niet ulieder gedachten, en uw wegen zijn niet Mijn wegen, spreekt de HEERE. 9Want gelijk de hemelen hoger zijn dan de aarde, alzo zijn Mijn wegen hoger dan uw wegen, en Mijn gedachten dan ulieder gedachten. 10Want gelijk de regen en de sneeuw van den hemel nederdaalt, en derwaarts niet wederkeert; maar doorvochtigt de aarde, en maakt, dat zij voortbrenge en uitspruite, en zaad geve den zaaier, en brood den eter; 11Alzo zal Mijn woord, dat uit Mijn mond uitgaat, ook zijn, het zal niet ledig tot Mij wederkeren; maar het zal doen, hetgeen Mij behaagt, en het zal voorspoedig zijn in hetgeen, waartoe Ik het zende. 12Want in blijdschap zult gijlieden uittrekken, en met vrede voortgeleid worden; de bergen en heuvelen zullen geschal maken met vrolijk gezang voor uw aangezicht, en alle bomen des velds zullen de handen samenklappen. 13Voor een doorn zal een denneboom opgaan, voor een distel zal een mirteboom opgaan; en het zal den HEERE wezen tot een naam, tot een eeuwig teken, dat niet uitgeroeid zal worden.
