1E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo: 2Filho do homem, dirige tua face contra os filhos de Amom, e profetiza sobre eles. 3E diz aos filhos de Amom: Ouvi a palavra do Senhor DEUS; assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que disseste: Ha, ha! Acerca de meu santuário quando foi profanado, e acerca da terra de Israel quando foi desolada, e acerca da casa de Judá quando foram ao cativeiro, 4Por isso, eis, eu te entregarei como possessão aos filhos do oriente, e estabelecerão suas acampamentos em ti, e porão suas tendas em ti; eles comerão teus frutos e beberão teu leite. 5E tornarei a Rabá em estábulo de camelos, e os filhos de Amom em curral de ovelhas; e sabereis que eu sou o SENHOR. 6Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que bateste palmas, e bateste o pés, e te alegraste na alma em todo teu desprezo sobre a terra de Israel, 7Por isso, eis que eu estenderei minha mão contra ti, e te entregarei às nações para seres saqueada; e eu te cortarei dentre os povos, e te destruirei dentre as terras; eu te eliminarei, e saberás que eu sou o SENHOR. 8Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que Moabe e Seir dizem: Eis que a casa de Judá é como todas as nações, 9Por isso, eis que eu abrirei a lateral de Moabe desde as cidades, desde suas cidades que estão em suas fronteiras, as melhores terras: Bete-Jesimote, e Baal-Meom, e até Quiriataim; 10Serão para os filhos do oriente, com a terra dos filhos de Amom; e a entregarei por possessão, para que não haja lembrança dos filhos de Amom entre as nações. 11Também farei julgamentos em Moabe; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR. 12Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que Edom se vingou contra a casa de Judá, e se tornaram extremamente culpados ao se vingarem deles; 13Por isso assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eu também estenderei minha mão contra a terra de Edom: exterminarei dela homens e animais, e a tornarei desolada; desde Temã e Dedã cairão à espada. 14E me vingarei contra Edom pela mão do meu povo Israel; e farão em Edom segundo minha ira, e conhecerão minha vingança, diz o Senhor DEUS. 15Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que os filisteus agiram com vingança, quando se vingaram com desprezo na alma, destruindo por hostilidades antigas, 16Por isso assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu estendo minha mão contra os filisteus, e exterminarei os queretitas, e destruirei o resto da costa do mar. 17E farei neles grandes vinganças, com castigos de furor; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, quando me vingar deles.
1Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them: 3and tell the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Because you said, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity: 4therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in you, and make their dwellings in you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. 5I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks: and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 6For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have clapped your hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of your soul against the land of Israel; 7therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations; and I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries: I will destroy you; and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 8Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because Moab and Seir say, Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations; 9therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim, 10to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations. 11and I will execute judgments on Moab; and they shall know that I am Yahweh. 12Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and revenged himself on them; 13therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; even to Dedan shall they fall by the sword. 14I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath; and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord Yahweh. 15Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility; 16therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. 17I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I shall lay my vengeance on them.
1En des HEEREN woord geschiedde tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind! zet uw aangezicht tegen de kinderen Ammons, en profeteer tegen dezelve; 3En zeg tot de kinderen Ammons: Hoort des Heeren HEEREN woord: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat gij gezegd hebt: Heah! over Mijn heiligdom, als het ontheiligd werd, en over het land Israels, als het verwoest werd, en over het huis van Juda, als zij in gevangenis gingen; 4Daarom, ziet, Ik zal u aan die van het oosten overgeven tot een bezitting, dat zij hun burgen in u zetten, en hun woningen in u stellen, die zullen uw vruchten eten, en die zullen uw melk drinken. 5En Ik zal Rabba tot een kemelstal maken, en de kinderen Ammons tot een schaapskooi; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 6Want alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat gij met de hand geklapt, en met den voet gestampt hebt, en van harte verblijd zijt geweest in al uw plundering, over het land Israels; 7Daarom, ziet, Ik zal Mijn hand tegen u uitstrekken, en u den heidenen ten buit geven, en zal u uit de volken uitroeien, en u uit de landen verdoen; Ik zal u verdelgen; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 8Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat Moab en Seir zeggen: Ziet, het huis van Juda is gelijk al de heidenen; 9Daarom, ziet, Ik zal de zijde van Moab openen, van de steden af, van zijn steden, die van zijn grenzen af zijn, het sieraad des lands, Beth-Jesimoth, Baal-Meon, en tot Kiriathaim toe; 10Voor die van het oosten, met het land der kinderen Ammons, hetwelk Ik ter bezitting zal overgeven; opdat der kinderen Ammons onder de heidenen niet meer gedacht worde. 11Ik zal ook in Moab gerichten oefenen; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 12Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat Edom met enkel wraakgierigheid gehandeld heeft tegen het huis van Juda; en zij zich zeer schuldig gemaakt hebben, dat zij zich aan hen gewroken hebben: 13Daarom, alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ik zal ook Mijn hand uitstrekken tegen Edom, en Ik zal mens en beest uit haar uitroeien; en zal haar tot een woestheid stellen van Theman af; en zij zullen tot Dedan toe door het zwaard vallen. 14En Ik zal Mijn wraak doen aan Edom, door de hand van Mijn volk Israel; en zij zullen tegen Edom naar Mijn toorn en naar Mijn grimmigheid handelen; alzo zullen zij Mijn wraak gewaar worden, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 15Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat de Filistijnen door wraak gehandeld hebben, en van harte wraak geoefend hebben door plundering, om te vernielen door een eeuwige vijandschap; 16Daarom, alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ziet, Ik strek Mijn hand uit tegen de Filistijnen, en zal de Cherethieten uitroeien, en het overblijfsel van de zeehaven verdoen. 17En Ik zal grote wraak met grimmige straffingen onder hen doen; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, als Ik Mijn wraak aan hen gedaan zal hebben.
