1Kaj aperis al mi vorto de la Eternulo, dirante: 2Ho filo de homo, turnu vian vizaĝon al la Amonidoj, kaj profetu pri ili; 3kaj diru al la Amonidoj: Aŭskultu la vorton de la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Pro tio, ke vi diras pri Mia sanktejo: Ha, ha! ĝi estas malsanktigita; kaj pri la lando de Izrael: Ĝi estas dezertigita; kaj pri la domo de Jehuda: Ili estas forkondukitaj en kaptitecon- 4pro tio jen Mi transdonos vin kiel posedaĵon al la filoj de la oriento, kaj ili starigos ĉe vi siajn tendarojn kaj aranĝos ĉe vi siajn loĝejojn; ili manĝos viajn fruktojn, kaj ili trinkos vian lakton. 5Kaj Mi faros el Raba stalon por kameloj, kaj el la lando de la Amonidoj ripozejon por ŝafoj; kaj vi ekscios, ke Mi estas la Eternulo. 6Ĉar tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Pro tio, ke vi aplaŭdis per la manoj kaj frapis per la piedoj kaj kun plena kora malestimo ĝojis pri la lando de Izrael- 7pro tio jen Mi etendos Mian manon kontraŭ vin kaj transdonos vin al la nacioj por disrabo, kaj Mi ekstermos vin el inter la popoloj, malaperigos vin el inter la landoj, kaj pereigos vin; kaj vi ekscios, ke Mi estas la Eternulo. 8Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Pro tio, ke Moab kaj Seir diras: Jen la domo de Jehuda estas kiel ĉiuj nacioj- 9pro tio Mi malfermos la flankon de Moab en la urboj, en ĝiaj limaj urboj, la belan landon de Bet-Jeŝimot, Baal-Meon, kaj Kirjataim; 10kaj Mi donos tion kune kun la Amonidoj al la filoj de la oriento kiel posedaĵon, por ke la Amonidoj ne plu estu rememorataj inter la popoloj. 11Kaj kontraŭ Moab Mi faros juĝon; kaj ili ekscios, ke Mi estas la Eternulo. 12Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Pro tio, ke Edom faris venĝon al la domo de Jehuda kaj forte kulpiĝis per sia venĝo kontraŭ ili- 13pro tio tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Mi etendos Mian manon kontraŭ la landon de Edom, kaj ekstermos en ĝi la homojn kaj brutojn, kaj faros ĝin dezerto; de Teman ĝis Dedan ili falos de glavo. 14Kaj Mi faros Mian venĝon kontraŭ Edom per la mano de Mia popolo Izrael; kaj ili agos kun la Edomidoj konforme al Mia kolero kaj indigno, por ke ĉi tiuj ekkonu Mian venĝon, diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo. 15Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Pro tio, ke la Filiŝtoj agis venĝe kaj faris la venĝon kun plena kora malbondeziro kaj faris ekstermon laŭ sia eterna malamo- 16pro tio tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Jen Mi etendos Mian manon kontraŭ la Filiŝtojn, ekstermos la Keretidojn, kaj pereigos la restintojn ĉe la bordo de la maro. 17Kaj Mi faros kontraŭ ili grandan venĝon kun kolerega puno; kaj ili ekscios, ke Mi estas la Eternulo, kiam Mi faros Mian venĝon kontraŭ ili.

1Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them: 3and tell the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Because you said, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity: 4therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in you, and make their dwellings in you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. 5I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks: and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 6For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have clapped your hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of your soul against the land of Israel; 7therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations; and I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries: I will destroy you; and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 8Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because Moab and Seir say, Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations; 9therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim, 10to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations. 11and I will execute judgments on Moab; and they shall know that I am Yahweh. 12Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and revenged himself on them; 13therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; even to Dedan shall they fall by the sword. 14I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath; and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord Yahweh. 15Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility; 16therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. 17I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I shall lay my vengeance on them.

1En des HEEREN woord geschiedde tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind! zet uw aangezicht tegen de kinderen Ammons, en profeteer tegen dezelve; 3En zeg tot de kinderen Ammons: Hoort des Heeren HEEREN woord: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat gij gezegd hebt: Heah! over Mijn heiligdom, als het ontheiligd werd, en over het land Israels, als het verwoest werd, en over het huis van Juda, als zij in gevangenis gingen; 4Daarom, ziet, Ik zal u aan die van het oosten overgeven tot een bezitting, dat zij hun burgen in u zetten, en hun woningen in u stellen, die zullen uw vruchten eten, en die zullen uw melk drinken. 5En Ik zal Rabba tot een kemelstal maken, en de kinderen Ammons tot een schaapskooi; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 6Want alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat gij met de hand geklapt, en met den voet gestampt hebt, en van harte verblijd zijt geweest in al uw plundering, over het land Israels; 7Daarom, ziet, Ik zal Mijn hand tegen u uitstrekken, en u den heidenen ten buit geven, en zal u uit de volken uitroeien, en u uit de landen verdoen; Ik zal u verdelgen; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 8Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat Moab en Seir zeggen: Ziet, het huis van Juda is gelijk al de heidenen; 9Daarom, ziet, Ik zal de zijde van Moab openen, van de steden af, van zijn steden, die van zijn grenzen af zijn, het sieraad des lands, Beth-Jesimoth, Baal-Meon, en tot Kiriathaim toe; 10Voor die van het oosten, met het land der kinderen Ammons, hetwelk Ik ter bezitting zal overgeven; opdat der kinderen Ammons onder de heidenen niet meer gedacht worde. 11Ik zal ook in Moab gerichten oefenen; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 12Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat Edom met enkel wraakgierigheid gehandeld heeft tegen het huis van Juda; en zij zich zeer schuldig gemaakt hebben, dat zij zich aan hen gewroken hebben: 13Daarom, alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ik zal ook Mijn hand uitstrekken tegen Edom, en Ik zal mens en beest uit haar uitroeien; en zal haar tot een woestheid stellen van Theman af; en zij zullen tot Dedan toe door het zwaard vallen. 14En Ik zal Mijn wraak doen aan Edom, door de hand van Mijn volk Israel; en zij zullen tegen Edom naar Mijn toorn en naar Mijn grimmigheid handelen; alzo zullen zij Mijn wraak gewaar worden, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 15Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat de Filistijnen door wraak gehandeld hebben, en van harte wraak geoefend hebben door plundering, om te vernielen door een eeuwige vijandschap; 16Daarom, alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ziet, Ik strek Mijn hand uit tegen de Filistijnen, en zal de Cherethieten uitroeien, en het overblijfsel van de zeehaven verdoen. 17En Ik zal grote wraak met grimmige straffingen onder hen doen; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, als Ik Mijn wraak aan hen gedaan zal hebben.
