Josue 18

1At ang buong kapisanan ng mga anak ni Israel ay nagpupulong sa Silo, at itinayo ang tabernakulo ng kapisanan doon: at ang lupain ay sumuko sa harap nila. 2At nalabi sa mga anak ni Israel ay pitong lipi na hindi pa nababahaginan ng kanilang mana. 3At sinabi ni Josue sa mga anak ni Israel, Hanggang kailan magpapakatamad kayo upang pasukin ninyong ariin ang lupain na ibinigay sa inyo ng Panginoon, ng Dios ng inyong mga magulang? 4Maghalal kayo sa inyo ng tatlong lalake sa bawa't lipi: at aking susuguin, at sila'y babangon at lalakad sa lupain, at iguguhit ayon sa kanilang mana; at sila'y paririto sa akin. 5At kanilang babahagihin ng pitong bahagi: ang Juda ay mananahan sa hangganan niyaon na dakong timugan, at ang sangbahayan ni Jose ay mananahan sa kanilang hangganan sa dakong hilagaan. 6At inyong iguguhit ang lupain ng pitong bahagi, at inyong dadalhin ang pagkaguhit dito sa akin: at aking ipagsasapalaran dito sa inyo sa harap ng Panginoon natin Dios; 7Sapagka't ang mga Levita ay walang bahagi sa gitna ninyo; sapagka't ang pagkasaserdote sa Panginoon ay siyang kanilang mana: at ang Gad, at ang Ruben at ang kalahating lipi ni Manases ay tumanggap na ng kanilang mana sa dako roon ng Jordan na dakong silanganan, na ibinigay sa kanila ni Moises na lingkod ng Panginoon. 8At ang mga lalake ay tumindig at yumaon: at ibinilin sa kanila ni Josue na yumaong iguhit ang lupain, na sinasabi, Yumaon kayo at lakarin ninyo ang lupain at iguhit ninyo at bumalik kayo sa akin, at aking ipagsasapalaran sa inyo dito sa harap ng Panginoon sa Silo. 9At ang mga lalake ay yumaon at nilakad ang lupain, at iginuhit sa isang aklat ayon sa mga bayan na pitong bahagi, at sila'y naparoon kay Josue sa kampamento sa Silo. 10At ipinagsapalaran ni Josue sa kanila sa Silo sa harap ng Panginoon; at binahagi roon ni Josue ang lupain sa mga anak ni Israel ayon sa kanilang mga bahagi. 11At ang kapalaran ng lipi ng mga anak ni Benjamin ay lumabas ayon sa kanilang mga angkan: at ang hangganan ng kanilang kapalaran ay palabas sa pagitan ng mga anak ni Juda at ng mga anak ni Jose. 12At ang kanilang hangganan sa hilagaang sulok ay mula sa Jordan; at ang hangganan ay pasampa sa dako ng Jerico sa hilagaan, at pasampa sa lupaing maburol na dakong kalunuran; at ang labasan niyaon ay sa ilang ng Beth-aven. 13At ang hangganan ay patuloy mula roon hanggang sa Luz, sa dako ng Luz (na siyang Beth-el), na dakong timugan; at ang hangganan ay pababa sa Ataroth-addar, sa tabi ng bundok na dumudoon sa timugan ng Beth-horon sa ibaba. 14At ang hangganan ay patuloy at paliko sa kalunurang sulok na dakong timugan mula sa bundok na nakalatag sa harap ng Beth-horon na dakong timugan, at ang mga labasan niyaon ay sa Chiriath-baal (na siyang Chiriath-jearim), na bayan ng mga anak ni Juda: ito ang kalunurang sulok. 15At ang timugang sulok ay mula sa kahulihulihang bahagi ng Chiriath-jearim at ang hangganan ay palabas sa dakong kalunuran, at palabas sa bukal ng tubig ng Nephtoa: 16At ang hangganan ay pababa sa kahulihulihang bahagi ng bundok na nakalatag sa harap ng libis ng anak ni Hinnom, na nasa libis ng Rephaim na dakong hilagaan; at pababa sa libis ni Hinnom, sa dako ng Jebuseo na dakong timugan at pababa sa En-rogel; 17At paabot sa hilagaan at palabas sa En-semes, at palabas sa Geliloth na nasa tapat ng pagsampa sa Adummim; at pababa sa bato ng Bohan na anak ni Ruben, 18At patuloy sa tagiliran na tapat ng Araba sa dakong hilagaan, at pababa sa Araba; 19At ang hangganan ay patuloy sa tabi ng Beth-hogla na dakong hilagaan, at ang labasan ng hangganan ay sa hilagaang dagat-dagatan ng Dagat na Alat, sa timugang dulo ng Jordan; ito ang timugang hangganan. 20At ang Jordan ay hangganan niyaon sa sulok na silanganan. 1The whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled themselves together at Shiloh, and set up the Tent of Meeting there. The land was subdued before them. 2Seven tribes remained among the children of Israel, which had not yet divided their inheritance. 3Joshua said to the children of Israel, “How long will you neglect to go in to possess the land, which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has given you? 4Appoint for yourselves three men from each tribe. I will send them, and they shall arise, walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance; and they shall come to me. 5They shall divide it into seven portions. Judah shall live in his borders on the south, and the house of Joseph shall live in their borders on the north. 6You shall survey the land into seven parts, and bring the description here to me; and I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh our God. 7For the Levites have no portion among you; for the priesthood of Yahweh is their inheritance. Gad, Reuben, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan eastward, which Moses the servant of Yahweh gave them.” 8The men arose and went. Joshua commanded those who went to survey the land, saying, “Go walk through the land, survey it, and come again to me. I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh in Shiloh.” 9The men went and passed through the land, and surveyed it by cities into seven portions in a book. They came to Joshua to the camp at Shiloh. 10Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before Yahweh. There Joshua divided the land to the children of Israel according to their divisions. 11The lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families. The border of their lot went out between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph. 12Their border on the north quarter was from the Jordan. The border went up to the side of Jericho on the north, and went up through the hill country westward. It ended at the wilderness of Beth Aven. 13The border passed along from there to Luz, to the side of Luz (the same is Bethel), southward. The border went down to Ataroth Addar, by the mountain that lies on the south of Beth Horon the lower. 14The border extended, and turned around on the west quarter southward, from the mountain that lies before Beth Horon southward; and ended at Kiriath Baal (the same is Kiriath Jearim), a city of the children of Judah. This was the west quarter. 15The south quarter was from the farthest part of Kiriath Jearim. The border went out westward, and went out to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah. 16The border went down to the farthest part of the mountain that lies before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the valley of Rephaim northward. It went down to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite southward, and went down to En Rogel. 17It extended northward, went out at En Shemesh, and went out to Geliloth, which is over against the ascent of Adummim. It went down to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben. 18It passed along to the side over against the Arabah northward, and went down to the Arabah. 19The border passed along to the side of Beth Hoglah northward; and the border ended at the north bay of the Salt Sea, at the south end of the Jordan. This was the south border. 20The Jordan was its border on the east quarter. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the borders around it, according to their families. 21Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, Beth Hoglah, Emek Keziz, 22Beth Arabah, Zemaraim, Bethel, 23Avvim, Parah, Ophrah, 24Chephar Ammoni, Ophni, and Geba; twelve cities with their villages. 25Gibeon, Ramah, Beeroth, 26Mizpeh, Chephirah, Mozah, 27Rekem, Irpeel, Taralah, 28Zelah, Eleph, the Jebusite (the same is Jerusalem), Gibeath, and Kiriath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.

1En de ganse vergadering van de kinderen Israels verzamelde zich te Silo, en zij richtten aldaar op de tent der samenkomst, nadat het land voor hen onderworpen was. 2En er bleven over onder de kinderen Israels, aan dewelken zij hun erfdeel niet uitgedeeld hadden, zeven stammen. 3En Jozua zeide tot de kinderen Israels: Hoe lang houdt gij u zo slap, om voort te gaan, om het land te beerven, hetwelk de HEERE, de God uwer vaderen, u gegeven heeft? 4Geeft voor ulieden drie mannen van elken stam, dat ik ze heenzende, en zij zich opmaken, en het land doorwandelen, en beschrijven hetzelve naar hun erven, en weder tot mij komen. 5Zij nu zullen het delen in zeven delen; Juda zal blijven op zijn landpale van het zuiden, en het huis van Jozef zal blijven op zijn landpale van het noorden. 6En gijlieden zult het land beschrijven in zeven delen, en tot mij herwaarts brengen, dat ik voor ulieden het lot hier werpe voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, onzes Gods. 7Want de Levieten hebben geen deel in het midden van ulieden; maar het priesterdom des HEEREN is hun erfdeel. Gad nu, en Ruben, en de halve stam van Manasse, hebben hun erfdeel genomen op gene zijde van de Jordaan, oostwaarts, hetwelk hun Mozes, de knecht des HEEREN, gegeven heeft. 8Toen maakten zich die mannen op, en gingen heen. En Jozua gebood hun, die heengingen om het land te beschrijven, zeggende: Gaat, en doorwandelt het land, en beschrijft het; komt dan weder tot mij, zo zal ik ulieden hier het lot werpen, voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, te Silo. 9De mannen dan gingen heen, en togen het land door en beschreven het, naar de steden, in zeven delen, in een boek; en kwamen weder tot Jozua in het leger te Silo. 10Toen wierp Jozua het lot voor hen te Silo, voor het aangezicht des HEEREN. En Jozua deelde aldaar den kinderen Israels het land, naar hun afdelingen. 11En het lot van den stam der kinderen van Benjamin kwam op, naar hun huisgezinnen; en de landpale van hun lot ging uit tussen de kinderen van Juda, en tussen de kinderen van Jozef. 12En hun landpale was naar den hoek noordwaarts van de Jordaan; en deze landpale gaat opwaarts aan de zijde van Jericho van het noorden, en gaat op door het gebergte westwaarts, en haar uitgangen zijn aan de woestijn van Beth-Aven. 13En van daar gaat de landpale door naar Luz, aan de zijde van Luz, welke is Beth-El, zuidwaarts; en deze landpale gaat af naar Atroth-Addar, aan den berg, die aan de zuidzijde van het benedenste Beth-Horon is. 14En die landpale strekt en keert zich om, naar den westhoek zuidwaarts van den berg, die tegenover Beth-horon zuidwaarts is, en haar uitgangen zijn aan Kirjath-Baal (welke is Kirjath-Jearim), een stad der kinderen van Juda. Dit is de hoek ten westen. 15De hoek nu ten zuiden is aan het uiterste van Kirjath-Jearim; en deze landpale gaat uit ten westen, en zij komt uit aan de fontein der wateren van Neftoah. 16En deze landpale gaat af tot aan het uiterste des bergs, die tegenover het dal van den zoon van Hinnom is, die in het dat der Refaiten is tegen het noorden; en gaat af door het dal van Hinnom, aan de zijde der Jebusieten zuidwaarts, en gaat af aan de fontein van Rogel; 17En strekt zich van het noorden, en gaat uit te En-semes; van daar gaat zij uit naar Geliloth, welke is tegenover den opgang naar Adummim, en zij gaat af aan den steen van Bohan, den zoon van Ruben; 18En gaat door ter zijde tegenover Araba naar het noorden, en gaat af te Araba. 19Verder gaat deze landpale door aan de zijde van Beth-hogla noordwaarts, en de uitgangen van deze landpale zijn aan de tong der Zoutzee noordwaarts, aan het uiterste van de Jordaan zuidwaarts. Dit is de zuiderlandpale. 20De Jordaan nu bepaalt haar aan den hoek naar het oosten. Dit is het erfdeel der kinderen van Benjamin, in hun landpalen rondom, naar hun huisgezinnen. 21De steden nu van den stam der kinderen van Benjamin, naar hun huisgezinnen, zijn: Jericho, en Beth-hogla, en Emek-Keziz, 22En Beth-araba, en Zemaraim, en Beth-El, 23En Haavvim, en Para, en Ofra, 24Chefar-haammonai, en Ofni, en Gaba; twaalf steden en haar dorpen. 25Gibeon, en Rama, en Beeroth, 26En Mizpa, en Chefira, en Moza, 27En Rekem, en Jirpeel, en Tharala, 28En Zela, Elef en Jebusi (deze is Jeruzalem), Gibath, Kirjath: veertien steden mitsgaders haar dorpen. Dit is het erfdeel der kinderen van Benjamin, naar hun huisgezinnen.
