Michea 2

1Guai a quelli che meditano l’iniquità e macchinano il male sui loro letti, per metterlo ad effetto allo spuntar del giorno, quando ne hanno il potere in mano! 2Agognano dei campi, e li rapiscono; delle case, e se le prendono; così opprimono l’uomo e la sua casa, l’individuo e la sua proprietà. 3Perciò così parla l’Eterno: Ecco, io medito contro questa stirpe un male, al quale non potrete sottrarre il collo; e non camminerete più a test’alta, perché saranno tempi cattivi. 4In quel giorno si farà su di voi un proverbio, si canterà un lamento, e si dirà: "E’ finito! Noi siamo interamente rovinati! Egli passa ad altri la parte del mio popolo! Vedete, com’egli me la toglie! I nostri campi li distribuisce agli infedeli!" 5Perciò tu non avrai più alcuno che tiri la cordicella per far le parti, nelle raunanza dell’Eterno. 6"Non profetate!" Vanno essi ripetendo. Anche se non si profetizzino cotali cose, non si eviterà l’ignominia. 7O tu che porti il nome di casa di Giacobbe, è forse l’Eterno pronto all’ira? E’ questo il suo modo d’agire? Le mie parole non son esse favorevoli a colui che cammina rettamente? 8Ma da qualche tempo il mio popolo insorge come un nemico; voi portate via il mantello di sopra alla veste a quelli che passan tranquillamente, che tornano dalla guerra. 9Voi cacciate le donne del mio popolo dalla case che son la loro delizia; voi rapite per sempre la mia gloria ai loro figliuoletti. 10Levatevi, andatevene! Perché questo non è luogo di riposo; a motivo della sua contaminazione, esso vi distruggerà d’una distruzione orrenda. 11Se uno andasse dietro al vento, e spacciasse menzogne, dicendo: "Io predirò per te vino e bevande forti!" quello sarebbe l’oracolo di questo popolo. 12Io ti radunerò, o Giacobbe, ti radunerò tutto quanto! Certo io raccoglierò il rimanente d’Israele; io li farò venire assieme come pecore in un ovile, come un gregge in mezzo al suo pascolo; il luogo sarà affollato di uomini. 13Chi farà la breccia salirà innanzi a loro; essi faran la breccia, e passeranno per la porta e per essa usciranno, il loro re camminerà davanti a loro, e l’Eterno sarà alla loro testa.

1Woe to those who devise iniquity and work evil on their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand. 2They covet fields, and seize them; and houses, and take them away: and they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage. 3Therefore thus says Yahweh: “Behold, I am planning against these people a disaster, from which you will not remove your necks, neither will you walk haughtily; for it is an evil time. 4In that day they will take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, saying, ‘We are utterly ruined! My people’s possession is divided up. Indeed he takes it from me and assigns our fields to traitors!’” 5Therefore you will have no one who divides the land by lot in Yahweh’s assembly. 6“Don’t prophesy!” They prophesy. “Don’t prophesy about these things. Disgrace won’t overtake us.” 7Shall it be said, O house of Jacob: “Is the Spirit of Yahweh angry? Are these his doings? Don’t my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?” 8But lately my people have risen up as an enemy. You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle. 9You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; from their young children you take away my blessing forever. 10Arise, and depart! For this is not your resting place, because of uncleanness that destroys, even with a grievous destruction. 11If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies: “I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink”; he would be the prophet of this people. 12I will surely assemble, Jacob, all of you; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as a flock in the midst of their pasture; they will swarm with people. 13He who breaks open the way goes up before them. They break through the gate, and go out. And their king passes on before them, with Yahweh at their head.

1Wee dien, die ongerechtigheid bedenken, en kwaad werken op hun legers; in het licht van den morgenstond doen zij het, dewijl het in de macht van hunlieder hand is. 2En zij begeren akkers, en roven ze, en huizen, en nemen ze weg; alzo doen zij geweld aan den man en zijn huis, ja, aan een iegelijk en zijn erfenis. 3Daarom, alzo zegt de HEERE: Ziet, Ik denk een kwaad over dit geslacht, waaruit gijlieden uw halzen niet zult uittrekken, en zult zo rechtop niet gaan; want het zal een boze tijd zijn. 4Te dien dage zal men een spreekwoord over ulieden opnemen; en men zal een klagelijke klacht klagen, en zeggen: Wij zijn ten enenmale verwoest; Hij verwisselt mijns volks deel; hoe ontwendt Hij mij; Hij deelt uit, afwendende onze akkers. 5Daarom zult gij niemand hebben, die het snoer werpe in het lot, in de gemeente des HEEREN. 6Profeteert gijlieden niet, zeggen zij, laat die profeteren; zij profeteren niet als die; men wijkt niet af van smaadheden. 7O gij, die Jakobs huis geheten zijt! Is dan de Geest des HEEREN verkort? Zijn dat Zijn werken? Doen Mijn woorden geen goed bij dien, die recht wandelt? 8Maar gisteren stelde zich Mijn volk op, tot vijand, tegenover een kleed; gij stroopt een mantel van degenen, die zeker voorbijgaan, wederkomende van den strijd. 9De vrouwen Mijns volks verdrijft gij, elkeen uit het huis van haar vermakingen; van haar kinderkens neemt gij Mijn sieraad in eeuwigheid. 10Maakt u dan op, en gaat henen; want dit land zal de rust niet zijn; omdat het verontreinigd is, zal het u verderven, en dat met een geweldige verderving. 11Zo er iemand is, die met wind omgaat, en valselijk liegt, zeggende: Ik zal u profeteren voor wijn en voor sterken drank! dat is een profeet dezes volks. 12Voorzeker zal Ik u, o Jakob! gans verzamelen; voorzeker zal Ik Israels overblijfsel vergaderen; Ik zal het te zamen zetten als schapen van Bozra; als een kudde in het midden van haar kooi zullen zij van mensen deunen. 13De doorbreker zal voor hun aangezicht optrekken; zij zullen doorbreken, en door de poort gaan, en door dezelve uittrekken; en hun koning zal voor hun aangezicht henengaan; en de HEERE in hun spits.
