1En ce jour-là, une source sera ouverte Pour la maison de David et les habitants de Jérusalem, Pour le péché et pour l’impureté. 2En ce jour-là, dit l’Éternel des armées, J’exterminerai du pays les noms des idoles, Afin qu’on ne s’en souvienne plus ; J’ôterai aussi du pays les prophètes et l’esprit d’impureté. 3Si quelqu’un prophétise encore, Son père et sa mère, qui l’ont engendré, lui diront : Tu ne vivras pas, car tu dis des mensonges au nom de l’Éternel ! Et son père et sa mère, qui l’ont engendré, le transperceront Quand il prophétisera. 4En ce jour-là, les prophètes rougiront de leurs visions Quand ils prophétiseront, Et ils ne revêtiront plus un manteau de poil pour mentir. 5Chacun d’eux dira : Je ne suis pas prophète, Je suis laboureur, Car on m’a acheté dès ma jeunesse. 6Et si on lui demande : D’où viennent ces blessures que tu as aux mains ? Il répondra : C’est dans la maison de ceux qui m’aimaient que je les ai reçues. 7Épée, lève-toi sur mon pasteur Et sur l’homme qui est mon compagnon ! Dit l’Éternel des armées. Frappe le pasteur, et que les brebis se dispersent ! Et je tournerai ma main vers les faibles. 8Dans tout le pays, dit l’Éternel, Les deux tiers seront exterminés, périront, Et l’autre tiers restera. 9Je mettrai ce tiers dans le feu, Et je le purifierai comme on purifie l’argent, Je l’éprouverai comme on éprouve l’or. Il invoquera mon nom, et je l’exaucerai ; Je dirai : C’est mon peuple ! Et il dira : L’Éternel est mon Dieu !
1“In that day there will be a spring opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness. 2It will come to pass in that day, says Yahweh of Armies, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they will be remembered no more. I will also cause the prophets and the spirit of impurity to pass out of the land. 3It will happen that, when anyone still prophesies, then his father and his mother who bore him will tell him, ‘You must die, because you speak lies in Yahweh’s name;’ and his father and his mother who bore him will stab him when he prophesies. 4It will happen in that day, that the prophets will each be ashamed of his vision, when he prophesies; neither will they wear a hairy mantle to deceive: 5but he will say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondservant from my youth.’ 6One will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your arms?’ Then he will answer, ‘Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.’ 7“Awake, sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is close to me,” says Yahweh of Armies. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn my hand against the little ones. 8It shall happen that in all the land,” says Yahweh, “two parts in it will be cut off and die; but the third will be left in it. 9I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will test them like gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say, ‘It is my people;’ and they will say, ‘Yahweh is my God.’”
1Te dien dage zal er een Fontein geopend zijn voor het huis Davids, en voor de inwoners van Jeruzalem, tegen de zonde en tegen de onreinigheid. 2En het zal te dien dage geschieden, spreekt de HEERE der heirscharen, dat Ik uitroeien zal uit het land de namen der afgoden, dat zij niet meer gedacht zullen worden; ja, ook de profeten, en den onreinen geest zal Ik uit het land wegdoen. 3En het zal geschieden, wanneer iemand meer profeteert, dat zijn vader en zijn moeder, die hem gegenereerd hebben, tot hem zullen zeggen: Gij zult niet leven, dewijl gij valsheid gesproken hebt in den Naam des HEEREN; en zijn vader en zijn moeder, die hem gegenereerd hebben, zullen hem doorsteken, wanneer hij profeteert. 4En het zal geschieden te dien dage, dat die profeten beschaamd zullen worden, een iegelijk van wege zijn gezicht, wanneer hij profeteert; en zij zullen geen haren mantel aandoen, om te liegen; 5Maar hij zal zeggen: Ik ben geen profeet, ik ben een man, die het land bouwt; want een mens heeft mij daartoe geworven van mijn jeugd aan. 6En zo iemand tot hem zegt: Wat zijn deze wonden in uw handen? zo zal hij zeggen: Het zijn de wonden, waarmede ik geslagen ben, in het huis mijner liefhebbers. 7Zwaard! ontwaak tegen Mijn Herder, en tegen den Man, Die Mijn Metgezel is, spreekt de HEERE der heirscharen; sla dien Herder, en de schapen zullen verstrooid worden; maar Ik zal Mijn hand tot de kleinen wenden. 8En het zal geschieden in het ganse land, spreekt de HEERE, de twee delen daarin zullen uitgeroeid worden, en den geest geven; maar het derde deel zal daarin overblijven. 9En Ik zal dat derde deel in het vuur brengen, en Ik zal het louteren, gelijk men zilver loutert, en Ik zal het beproeven, gelijk men goud beproeft; het zal Mijn Naam aanroepen, en Ik zal het verhoren; Ik zal zeggen: Het is Mijn volk; en het zal zeggen: De HEERE is mijn God.
