1Εν τω εικοστώ πέμπτω έτει της αιχμαλωσίας ημών, εν τη αρχή του έτους, τη δεκάτη του μηνός, τω δεκάτω τετάρτω έτει μετά την άλωσιν της πόλεως, εν τη αυτή ημέρα χειρ Κυρίου εστάθη επ' εμέ και με έφερεν εκεί. 2Δι' οραμάτων του Θεού με έφερεν εις γην Ισραήλ και με έθεσεν επί όρους υψηλοτάτου, εφ' ου ήτο προς μεσημβρίαν ως οικοδομή πόλεως. 3Και με έφερεν εκεί και ιδού, άνθρωπος του οποίου η θέα ήτο ως θέα χαλκού, και είχεν εν τη χειρί αυτού νήμα λινούν και μέτρον καλάμινον, και αυτός ίστατο εν τη πύλη. 4Και ο άνθρωπος είπε προς εμέ, Υιέ ανθρώπου, ιδέ με τους οφθαλμούς σου και άκουσον με τα ώτα σου και θέσον την καρδίαν σου επί πάντα όσα εγώ σοι δείξω· διότι, διά να σοι δείξω ταύτα, εισήχθης ενταύθα· απάγγειλον πάντα όσα βλέπεις προς τον οίκον Ισραήλ. 5Και ιδού, περίβολος έξωθεν του οίκου κύκλω, και εν τη χειρί του ανθρώπου μέτρον καλάμινον εξ πηχών και μιας παλάμης· και εμέτρησε το πλάτος του οικοδομήματος, ένα κάλαμον, και το ύψος, ένα κάλαμον. 6Τότε ήλθε προς την πύλην την βλέπουσαν κατά ανατολάς, και ανέβη τας βαθμίδας αυτής και εμέτρησε το κατώφλιον της πύλης, πλάτος ενός καλάμου, και το ανώφλιον, πλάτος ενός καλάμου. 7Και έκαστον οίκημα ήτο μακρόν ένα κάλαμον και πλατύ ένα κάλαμον· και μεταξύ των οικημάτων ήσαν πέντε πήχαι· και το κατώφλιον της πύλης πλησίον της στοάς της προς την πύλην την έσωθεν ήτο ενός καλάμου. 8Τότε εμέτρησε την στοάν της πύλης της έσωθεν και ήτο ενός καλάμου. 9Έπειτα εμέτρησε την στοάν της πύλης, οκτώ πήχας, και τα μέτωπα αυτής, δύο πήχας· η στοά δε της πύλης ήτο έσωθεν. 10Και τα οικήματα της πύλης προς ανατολάς ήσαν τρία εντεύθεν και τρία εκείθεν· και τα τρία ενός μέτρου, και τα μέτωπα είχον εν μέτρον, εντεύθεν και εκείθεν. 11Και εμέτρησε το πλάτος της εισόδου της πύλης, δέκα πήχας, και το μήκος της πύλης, δεκατρείς πήχας. 12Ήτο δε έμπροσθεν των οικημάτων διάστημα μία πήχη εντεύθεν και διάστημα μία πήχη εκείθεν· και τα οικήματα ήσαν εξ πηχών εντεύθεν και εξ πηχών εκείθεν. 13Έπειτα εμέτρησε την πύλην από της στέγης του ενός οικήματος μέχρι της στέγης του άλλου· το πλάτος ήτο εικοσιπέντε πηχών και θύρα απέναντι θύρας. 14Και έκαμε τα μέτωπα εξήκοντα πηχών μέχρι του μετώπου της αυλής κύκλω κύκλω του πυλώνος. 15Και από του προσώπου της πύλης της εισόδου έως του προσώπου της στοάς της εσωτέρας πύλης ήσαν πεντήκοντα πήχαι. 16Και ήσαν παράθυρα αδιόρατα εις τα οικήματα και εις τα μέτωπα αυτών έσωθεν της πύλης κύκλω κύκλω, και ωσαύτως εις τας στοάς· ήσαν παράθυρα και έσωθεν κύκλω κύκλω, εφ' εκάστου δε μετώπου φοίνικες. 17Και με έφερεν εις την εξωτέραν αυλήν και ιδού, θάλαμοι και λιθόστρωτον κατεσκευασμένον εν τη αυλή κύκλω κύκλω· τριάκοντα θάλαμοι επί του λιθοστρώτου. 18Και το λιθόστρωτον το επί τα πλάγια των πυλών, κατά το μήκος των πυλών, ήτο το κατώτερον λιθόστρωτον. 19Και εμέτρησε το πλάτος από του προσώπου της κατωτέρας πύλης μέχρι του προσώπου της εσωτέρας αυλής έξωθεν, εκατόν πήχας προς ανατολάς και προς βορράν. 20Και την πύλην της εξωτέρας αυλής την βλέπουσαν προς βορράν εμέτρησε, το μήκος αυτής και το πλάτος αυτής. 21Και τα οικήματα αυτής ήσαν τρία εντεύθεν και τρία εκείθεν, και τα μέτωπα αυτής και τα τόξα αυτής ήσαν κατά το μέτρον της πρώτης πύλης, το μήκος αυτής πεντήκοντα πηχών και το πλάτος αυτής εικοσιπέντε πηχών. 22Και τα παράθυρα αυτών και τα τόξα αυτών και οι φοίνικες αυτών ήσαν κατά το μέτρον της πύλης της βλεπούσης προς ανατολάς· και ανέβαινον προς αυτήν δι' επτά βαθμίδων· και τα τόξα αυτής ήσαν έμπροσθεν αυτών. 23Και η πύλη της εσωτέρας αυλής ήτο απέναντι της πύλης της προς βορράν και προς ανατολάς· και εμέτρησεν από πύλης εις πύλην, εκατόν πήχας. 24Και με έφερε προς νότον, και ιδού, πύλη βλέπουσα προς νότον· και εμέτρησε τα μέτωπα αυτής και τα τόξα αυτής, κατά τα αυτά μέτρα. 25Και ήσαν παράθυρα εις αυτήν και εις τα τόξα αυτής κύκλω κύκλω, ως τα παράθυρα εκείνα· το μήκος πεντήκοντα πηχών και το πλάτος εικοσιπέντε πηχών. 26Και η ανάβασις αυτής ήτο επτά βαθμίδες και τα τόξα αυτής ήσαν έμπροσθεν αυτών· και είχε φοίνικας, ένα εντεύθεν και ένα εκείθεν, επί των μετώπων αυτής. 27Και ήτο πύλη εις την εσωτέραν αυλήν προς νότον· και εμέτρησεν από πύλης εις πύλην, προς νότον, εκατόν πήχας. 28Και με έφερεν εις την εσωτέραν αυλήν διά της νοτίου πύλης· και εμέτρησε την νότιον πύλην κατά τα αυτά μέτρα. 29Και τα οικήματα αυτής και τα μέτωπα αυτής και τα τόξα αυτής κατά τα αυτά μέτρα· και ήσαν παράθυρα εις αυτήν και εις τα τόξα αυτής κύκλω κύκλω· πεντήκοντα πηχών το μήκος και εικοσιπέντε πηχών το πλάτος. 30Και τα τόξα κύκλω κύκλω ήσαν εικοσιπέντε πηχών το μήκος και πέντε πηχών το πλάτος. 31Και τα τόξα αυτής ήσαν προς την εξωτέραν αυλήν, και φοίνικες επί των μετώπων αυτής, και οκτώ βαθμίδες η ανάβασις αυτής. 32Και με έφερεν εις την εσωτέραν πύλην προς ανατολάς, και εμέτρησε την πύλην κατά τα αυτά μέτρα. 33Και τα οικήματα αυτής και τα μέτωπα αυτής και τα τόξα αυτής ήσαν κατά τα αυτά μέτρα· και ήσαν παράθυρα εις αυτήν και εις τα τόξα αυτής κύκλω κύκλω, πεντήκοντα πηχών το μήκος και εικοσιπέντε πηχών το πλάτος. 34Και τα τόξα αυτής ήσαν προς την εξωτέραν αυλήν, και φοίνικες επί των μετώπων αυτής, εντεύθεν και εκείθεν, και οκτώ βαθμίδες η ανάβασις αυτής. 35Και με έφερεν εις την βόρειον πύλην και εμέτρησεν αυτήν κατά τα αυτά μέτρα· 36τα οικήματα αυτής, τα μέτωπα αυτής και τα τόξα αυτής και τα παράθυρα αυτής κύκλω κύκλω· το μήκος πεντήκοντα πηχών και το πλάτος εικοσιπέντε πηχών. 37Και τα μέτωπα αυτής ήσαν προς την εξωτέραν αυλήν, και φοίνικες επί των μετώπων αυτής, εντεύθεν και εκείθεν, και οκτώ βαθμίδες η ανάβασις αυτής. 38Και οι θάλαμοι και αι είσοδοι αυτής ήσαν πλησίον των μετώπων των πυλών, όπου έπλυνον το ολοκαύτωμα. 39Και εν τη στοά της πύλης ήσαν δύο τράπεζαι εντεύθεν και δύο τράπεζαι εκείθεν, διά να σφάζωσιν επ' αυτών το ολοκαύτωμα και την περί αμαρτίας προσφοράν και την περί ανομίας προσφοράν. 40Και εις το έξω πλάγιον, καθώς ανέβαινέ τις προς την είσοδον της βορείου πύλης, ήσαν δύο τράπεζαι, και εις το άλλο πλάγιον, το προς την στοάν της πύλης, δύο τράπεζαι. 41Τέσσαρες τράπεζαι ήσαν εντεύθεν και τέσσαρες τράπεζαι εκείθεν παρά τα πλάγια της πύλης· οκτώ τράπεζαι, εφ' ων έσφαζον τα θύματα. 42Και αι τέσσαρες τράπεζαι του ολοκαυτώματος ήσαν εκ λίθου πελεκητού, μιας πήχης και ημίσεος το μήκος και μιας πήχης και ημίσεος το πλάτος και μιας πήχης το ύψος· και επ' αυτών έθετον τα εργαλεία, δι' ων έσφαζον το ολοκαύτωμα και την θυσίαν. 43Και έσωθεν ήσαν άγκιστρα, μιας παλάμης το πλάτος, προσηλωμένα κύκλω κύκλω· επί δε των τραπεζών έθετον το κρέας των προσφορών. 44Και έξωθεν της πύλης της εσωτέρας ήσαν οι θάλαμοι των μουσικών, εν τη εσωτέρα αυλή τη επί τα πλάγια της βορείου πύλης· και τα πρόσωπα αυτών ήσαν προς νότον, εν επί το πλάγιον της ανατολικής πύλης βλέπον προς βορράν. 45Και είπε προς εμέ, Ο θάλαμος ούτος ο βλέπων προς νότον είναι διά τους ιερείς τους φυλάττοντας την φυλακήν του οίκου, 46ο δε θάλαμος ο βλέπων προς βορράν είναι διά τους ιερείς τους φυλάττοντας την φυλακήν του θυσιαστηρίου· ούτοι είναι οι υιοί Σαδώκ, μεταξύ των υιών Λευΐ, οίτινες προσέρχονται εις τον Κύριον, διά να λειτουργώσιν εις αυτόν. 47Και εμέτρησε την αυλήν, μήκος εκατόν πηχών και πλάτος εκατόν πηχών, εις τετράγωνον· και το θυσιαστήριον ήτο έμπροσθεν του οίκου. 48Και με έφερεν εις την στοάν του οίκου και εμέτρησεν έκαστον μέτωπον της στοάς, πέντε πηχών εντεύθεν και πέντε πηχών εκείθεν· και το πλάτος της πύλης τριών πηχών εντεύθεν και τριών πηχών εκείθεν. 49το μήκος της στοάς ήτο είκοσι πηχών και το πλάτος ένδεκα πηχών· και με έφερε διά των βαθμίδων, δι' ων ανέβαινον εις αυτήν· και ήσαν στύλοι παρά τα μέτωπα, εις εντεύθεν και εις εκείθεν.

1In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was struck, in the same day, the hand of Yahweh was on me, and he brought me there. 2In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me down on a very high mountain, whereon was as it were the frame of a city on the south. 3He brought me there; and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. 4The man said to me, Son of man, see with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart on all that I shall show you; for, to the intent that I may show them to you, you are brought here: declare all that you see to the house of Israel. 5Behold, a wall on the outside of the house all around, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed six cubits long, of a cubit and a hand breadth each: so he measured the thickness of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed. 6Then came he to the gate which looks toward the east, and went up its steps: and he measured the threshold of the gate, one reed broad; and the other threshold, one reed broad. 7Every lodge was one reed long, and one reed broad; and between the lodges was five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate toward the house was one reed. 8He measured also the porch of the gate toward the house, one reed. 9Then measured he the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and its posts, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was toward the house. 10The lodges of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on that side. 11He measured the breadth of the opening of the gate, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits; 12and a border before the lodges, one cubit on this side, and a border, one cubit on that side; and the lodges, six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side. 13He measured the gate from the roof of the one lodge to the roof of the other, a breadth of twenty-five cubits; door against door. 14He made also posts, sixty cubits; and the court reached to the posts, around the gate. 15From the forefront of the gate at the entrance to the forefront of the inner porch of the gate were fifty cubits. 16There were closed windows to the lodges, and to their posts within the gate all around, and likewise to the arches; and windows were around inward; and on each post were palm trees. 17Then brought he me into the outer court; and behold, there were rooms and a pavement, made for the court all around: thirty rooms were on the pavement. 18The pavement was by the side of the gates, answerable to the length of the gates, even the lower pavement. 19Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate to the forefront of the inner court outside, one hundred cubits, both on the east and on the north. 20The gate of the outer court whose prospect is toward the north, he measured its length and its breadth. 21The lodges of it were three on this side and three on that side; and its posts and its arches were after the measure of the first gate: its length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits. 22The windows of it, and its arches, and the palm trees of it, were after the measure of the gate whose prospect is toward the east; and they went up to it by seven steps; and its arches were before them. 23There was a gate to the inner court facing the other gate, on the north and on the east; and he measured from gate to gate one hundred cubits. 24He led me toward the south; and behold, a gate toward the south: and he measured its posts and its arches according to these measures. 25There were windows in it and in its arches all around, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits. 26There were seven steps to go up to it, and its arches were before them; and it had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, on its posts. 27There was a gate to the inner court toward the south: and he measured from gate to gate toward the south a hundred cubits. 28Then he brought me to the inner court by the south gate: and he measured the south gate according to these measures; 29and its lodges, and its posts, and its arches, according to these measures: and there were windows in it and in its arches all around; it was fifty cubits long, and twenty-five cubits broad. 30There were arches all around, twenty-five cubits long, and five cubits broad. 31The arches of it were toward the outer court; and palm trees were on its posts: and the ascent to it had eight steps. 32He brought me into the inner court toward the east: and he measured the gate according to these measures; 33and its lodges, and its posts, and its arches, according to these measures: and there were windows therein and in its arches all around; it was fifty cubits long, and twenty-five cubits broad. 34The arches of it were toward the outer court; and palm trees were on its posts, on this side, and on that side: and the ascent to it had eight steps. 35He brought me to the north gate: and he measured it according to these measures; 36its lodges, its posts, and its arches: and there were windows therein all around; the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits. 37The posts of it were toward the outer court; and palm trees were on its posts, on this side, and on that side: and the ascent to it had eight steps. 38A room with its door was by the posts at the gates; there they washed the burnt offering. 39In the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, on which to kill the burnt offering, the sin offering, and the trespass offering. 40On the one side outside, as one goes up to the entry of the gate toward the north, were two tables; and on the other side, which belonged to the porch of the gate, were two tables. 41Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they killed the sacrifices. 42There were four tables for the burnt offering, of cut stone, a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high; whereupon they laid the instruments with which they killed the burnt offering and the sacrifice. 43The hooks, a hand breadth long, were fastened within all around: and on the tables was the flesh of the offering. 44Outside of the inner gate were rooms for the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south; one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north. 45He said to me, This room, whose prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the duty of the house; 46and the room whose prospect is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the duty of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok, who from among the sons of Levi come near to Yahweh to minister to him. 47He measured the court, one hundred cubits long, and a hundred cubits broad, square; and the altar was before the house. 48Then he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side. 49The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits; even by the steps by which they went up to it: and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side.

en aan denzelven was als een gebouw ener stad tegen het zuiden. 3Als Hij mij daarhenen gebracht had, ziet, zo was er een man, wiens gedaante was als de gedaante van koper; en in zijn hand was een linnen snoer, en een meetriet; en hij stond in de poort. 4En die man sprak tot mij: Mensenkind! zie met uw ogen, en hoor met uw oren, en zet uw hart op alles, wat ik u zal doen zien; want, opdat ik u zou doen zien, zijt gij herwaarts gebracht; verkondig daarna den huize Israels alles, wat gij ziet. 5En ziet, er was een muur buiten aan het huis, rondom henen, en in des mans hand was een meetriet van zes ellen, elke el van een el en een handbreed, en hij mat de breedte des gebouws een riet, en de hoogte een riet. 6Toen kwam hij tot de poort, welke zag den weg naar het oosten, en hij ging bij derzelver trappen op, en mat den dorpel der poort een riet de breedte, en den anderen dorpel een riet de breedte. 7En elk kamertje een riet de lengte, en een riet de breedte; en tussen de kamertjes vijf ellen; en den dorpel der poort, bij het voorhuis der poort van binnen, een riet. 8Ook mat hij het voorhuis der poort van binnen, een riet. 9Toen mat hij het andere voorhuis der poort, acht ellen, en haar posten twee ellen; en het voorhuis der poort was van binnen. 10En de kamertjes der poort, den weg naar het oosten, waren drie van deze, en drie van gene zijde; die drie hadden enerlei maat; ook hadden de posten, van deze en van gene zijde, enerlei maat. 11Voorts mat hij de wijdte der deur van de poort, tien ellen; de lengte der poort, dertien ellen. 12En er was een ruim voor aan de kamertjes, van een el van deze, en een ruim van een el van gene zijde; en elk kamertje zes ellen van deze, en zes ellen van gene zijde. 13Toen mat hij de poort van het dak van het ene kamertje af tot aan het dak van een ander; de breedte was vijf en twintig ellen; deur was tegenover deur. 14Ook maakte hij posten van zestig ellen, namelijk tot den post des voorhofs, rondom de poort henen. 15En van het voorste deel der poort des ingangs, tot aan het voorste deel van het voorhuis van de binnenpoort, waren vijftig ellen. 16En er waren gesloten vensters aan de kamertjes, en aan hun posten inwaarts in de poort rondom henen; alzo ook aan de voorhuizen; de vensters nu waren rondom henen inwaarts, en aan de posten waren palmbomen. 17Voorts bracht hij mij in het buitenste voorhof, en ziet, er waren kameren, en een plaveisel, dat gemaakt was in het voorhof rondom henen, dertig kameren waren er op het plaveisel. 18Het plaveisel nu was aan de zijde van de poorten, tegenover de lengte van de poorten; dit was het benedenste plaveisel. 19En hij mat de breedte, van het voorste deel der benedenste poort af, voor aan het binnenste voorhof, van buiten, honderd ellen, oostwaarts en noordwaarts. 20Aangaande de poort nu, die den weg naar het noorden zag, aan het buitenste voorhof, hij mat derzelver lengte en derzelver breedte. 21En haar kamertjes, drie van deze en drie van gene zijde; en haar posten en haar voorhuizen waren naar de maat der eerste poort; vijftig ellen haar lengte, en de breedte van vijf en twintig ellen. 22En haar vensters, en haar voorhuizen, en haar palmbomen, waren naar de maat der poort, die den weg naar het oosten zag; en men ging daarin op met zeven trappen, en haar voorhuizen waren voor aan dezelve. 23De poort nu van het binnenste voorhof was tegenover de poort van het noorden en van het oosten; en hij mat van poort tot poort honderd ellen. 24Daarna voerde hij mij den weg naar het zuiden; en ziet, er was een poort den weg naar het zuiden; en hij mat derzelver posten, en derzelver voorhuizen, naar deze maten. 25En zij had vensteren, ook aan haar voorhuizen, rondom henen, gelijk deze vensteren; de lengte was vijftig ellen, en de breedte vijf en twintig ellen. 26En haar opgangen waren van zeven trappen, en haar voorhuizen waren voor aan dezelve; en zij had palmbomen, een van deze, en een van gene zijde aan haar posten. 27Ook was er een poort in het binnenste voorhof, den weg naar het zuiden; en hij mat van poort tot poort, den weg naar het zuiden, honderd ellen. 28Voorts bracht hij mij door de zuiderpoort tot het binnenvoorhof; en hij mat de zuiderpoort naar deze maten. 29En haar kamertjes, en haar posten, en haar voorhuizen waren naar deze maten; en zij had vensteren, ook in haar voorhuizen, rondom henen; de lengte was vijftig ellen, en de breedte vijf en twintig ellen. 30En er waren voorhuizen rondom henen; de lengte was vijf en twintig ellen, en de breedte vijf ellen. 31En haar voorhuizen waren aan het buitenste voorhof, ook waren er palmbomen aan haar posten, en haar opgangen waren van acht trappen. 32Daarna bracht hij mij tot het binnenste voorhof, den weg naar het oosten; en hij mat de poort, naar deze maten; 33Ook haar kamertjes, en haar posten, en haar voorhuizen naar deze maten; en zij had vensteren ook aan haar voorhuizen, rondom henen; de lengte was vijftig ellen, en de breedte vijf en twintig ellen. 34En haar voorhuizen waren aan het buitenste voorhof; ook waren er palmbomen aan haar posten, van deze en van gene zijde; en haar opgangen waren van acht trappen. 35Daarna bracht hij mij tot de noorderpoort; en hij mat naar deze maten. 36Haar kamertjes, haar posten en haar voorhuizen; ook had zij vensteren rondom henen; de lengte was vijftig ellen, en de breedte vijf en twintig ellen. 37En haar posten waren aan het buitenste voorhof; ook waren er palmbomen aan haar posten, van deze en van gene zijde; en haar opgangen waren van acht trappen. 38Haar kameren nu en haar deuren waren bij de posten der poorten; aldaar wies men het brandoffer. 39En in het voorhuis der poort waren twee tafelen van deze, en twee tafelen van gene zijde, om daarop te slachten het brandoffer, en het zondoffer, en het schuldoffer. 40Ook waren er aan de zijde van buiten des opgangs, aan de deur der noorderpoort, twee tafelen; en aan de andere zijde, die aan het voorhuis der poort was, twee tafelen. 41Vier tafelen van deze, en vier tafelen van gene zijde, aan de zijde der poort, acht tafelen, waarop men slachtte. 42Maar de vier tafelen voor het brandoffer waren van gehouwen stenen, de lengte een el en een halve, en de breedte een el en een halve, en de hoogte een el; op dezelve nu legde men het gereedschap henen, waarmede men het brandoffer en slachtoffer slachtte. 43De haardstenen nu waren een handbreed dik, ordentelijk geschikt in het huis rondom henen; en op de tafelen was het offervlees. 44En van buiten de binnenste poort waren de kameren der zangers, in het binnenste voorhof, dat aan de zijde van de noorderpoort was; en het voorste deel derzelve was den weg naar het zuiden; een was er aan de zijde van de oostpoort, ziende den weg naar het noorden. 45En hij sprak tot mij: Deze kamer, welker voorste deel den weg naar het zuiden is, is voor de priesteren, die de wacht des huizes waarnemen. 46Maar de kamer, welker voorste deel den weg naar het noorden is, is voor de priesteren, die de wacht des altaars waarnemen; dat zijn de kinderen van Zadok, die uit de kinderen van Levi tot den HEERE naderen, om Hem te dienen. 47En hij mat het voorhof: de lengte honderd ellen, en de breedte honderd ellen, vierkant; en het altaar was voor aan het huis. 48Toen bracht hij mij tot het voorhuis des huizes, en hij mat elken post van het voorhuis, vijf ellen van deze, en vijf ellen van gene zijde; en de breedte der poort, drie ellen van deze, en drie ellen van gene zijde. 49De lengte van het voorhuis twintig ellen, en de breedte elf ellen; en het was met trappen, bij dewelke men daarin opging; ook waren er pilaren aan de posten, een van deze, en een van gene zijde.
