Ιεζεκιήλ 25

1Και έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ, λέγων, 2Υιέ ανθρώπου, στήριξον το πρόσωπόν σου επί τους υιούς Αμμών και προφήτευσον κατ' αυτών· 3και ειπέ προς τους υιούς Αμμών, Ακούσατε τον λόγον Κυρίου του Θεού· ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Επειδή επιλέγεις εις τα άγιά μου, Εύγε, διότι εβεβηλώθησαν, και εις την γην του Ισραήλ, διότι ηφανίσθη, και εις τον οίκον Ιούδα, διότι υπήγαν εις αιχμαλωσίαν, 4διά τούτο, ιδού, θέλω σε παραδώσει προς κληρονομίαν εις τους υιούς της ανατολής, και θέλουσι θέσει τας επαύλεις αυτών εν σοι και θέλουσι κάμει τας κατασκηνώσεις αυτών εν σοί· ούτοι θέλουσι φάγει τους καρπούς σου και ούτοι θέλουσι πίει το γάλα σου. 5Και θέλω καταστήσει την Ραββά σταύλον καμήλων και την γην των υιών Αμμών μάνδραν προβάτων· και θέλετε γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος. 6Διότι ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Επειδή επεκρότησας χείρας και εκτύπησας με τον πόδα και εν όλη τη περιφρονήσει της καρδίας σου εχάρης κατά της γης Ισραήλ, 7διά τούτο, ιδού, θέλω εκτείνει την χείρα μου επί σε και θέλω σε παραδώσει εις διαρπαγήν των εθνών και θέλω σε εκκόψει από των λαών και σε εξαφανίσει από των τόπων· θέλω σε εξολοθρεύσει· και θέλεις γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος. 8Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Επειδή ο Μωάβ και ο Σηείρ λέγουσιν, Ιδού, ο οίκος Ιούδα είναι ως πάντα τα έθνη· 9διά τούτο, ιδού, θέλω ανοίξει την πλευράν του Μωάβ από των πόλεων, από των πόλεων αυτού, από των άκρων αυτού, την δόξαν της γης, την Βαιθ-ιεσιμώθ, Βάαλ-μεών και Κιριαθαΐμ, 10εις τους υιούς της ανατολής, κατά των υιών Αμμών, και θέλω παραδώσει αυτήν εις κληρονομίαν, διά να μη μνημονεύωνται οι υιοί Αμμών μεταξύ των εθνών. 11Και θέλω εκτελέσει κρίσεις επί τον Μωάβ· και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος. 12Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Επειδή ο Εδώμ έπραξεν εκδικητικώς εις τον οίκον Ιούδα και έβρισε βαρέως και εξεδικήθη εναντίον αυτών, 13διά τούτο ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· θέλω λοιπόν εκτείνει την χείρα μου επί τον Εδώμ, και θέλω εκκόψει απ' αυτού άνθρωπον και κτήνος και θέλω εξαφανίσει αυτόν από Θαιμάν, και θέλουσι πέσει εν ρομφαία έως Δαιδάν. 14Και θέλω ενεργήσει την εκδίκησίν μου επί τον Εδώμ διά χειρός τον λαού μου Ισραήλ· και θέλουσι κάμει εις τον Εδώμ κατά τον θυμόν μου και κατά την οργήν μου· και θέλουσι γνωρίσει την εκδίκησίν μου, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός. 15Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Επειδή οι Φιλισταίοι εφέρθησαν εκδικητικώς και έκαμον εκδίκησιν περιφρονούντες εκ ψυχής, ώστε να φέρωσιν όλεθρον διά παλαιόν μίσος, 16διά τούτο ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Ιδού, εγώ θέλω εκτείνει την χείρα μου επί τους Φιλισταίους και θέλω εκκόψει τους Χερεθαίους και εξαφανίσει το υπόλοιπον των λιμένων της θαλάσσης· 17και θέλω κάμει επ' αυτούς μεγάλην εκδίκησιν εν ελεγμοίς θυμού· και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος, όταν εκτελέσω την εκδίκησίν μου επ' αυτούς.

1Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them: 3and tell the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Because you said, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity: 4therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in you, and make their dwellings in you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. 5I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks: and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 6For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have clapped your hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of your soul against the land of Israel; 7therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations; and I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries: I will destroy you; and you shall know that I am Yahweh. 8Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because Moab and Seir say, Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations; 9therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim, 10to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations. 11and I will execute judgments on Moab; and they shall know that I am Yahweh. 12Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and revenged himself on them; 13therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; even to Dedan shall they fall by the sword. 14I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath; and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord Yahweh. 15Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility; 16therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. 17I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I shall lay my vengeance on them.

1En des HEEREN woord geschiedde tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind! zet uw aangezicht tegen de kinderen Ammons, en profeteer tegen dezelve; 3En zeg tot de kinderen Ammons: Hoort des Heeren HEEREN woord: Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat gij gezegd hebt: Heah! over Mijn heiligdom, als het ontheiligd werd, en over het land Israels, als het verwoest werd, en over het huis van Juda, als zij in gevangenis gingen; 4Daarom, ziet, Ik zal u aan die van het oosten overgeven tot een bezitting, dat zij hun burgen in u zetten, en hun woningen in u stellen, die zullen uw vruchten eten, en die zullen uw melk drinken. 5En Ik zal Rabba tot een kemelstal maken, en de kinderen Ammons tot een schaapskooi; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 6Want alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat gij met de hand geklapt, en met den voet gestampt hebt, en van harte verblijd zijt geweest in al uw plundering, over het land Israels; 7Daarom, ziet, Ik zal Mijn hand tegen u uitstrekken, en u den heidenen ten buit geven, en zal u uit de volken uitroeien, en u uit de landen verdoen; Ik zal u verdelgen; en gij zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 8Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat Moab en Seir zeggen: Ziet, het huis van Juda is gelijk al de heidenen; 9Daarom, ziet, Ik zal de zijde van Moab openen, van de steden af, van zijn steden, die van zijn grenzen af zijn, het sieraad des lands, Beth-Jesimoth, Baal-Meon, en tot Kiriathaim toe; 10Voor die van het oosten, met het land der kinderen Ammons, hetwelk Ik ter bezitting zal overgeven; opdat der kinderen Ammons onder de heidenen niet meer gedacht worde. 11Ik zal ook in Moab gerichten oefenen; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 12Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat Edom met enkel wraakgierigheid gehandeld heeft tegen het huis van Juda; en zij zich zeer schuldig gemaakt hebben, dat zij zich aan hen gewroken hebben: 13Daarom, alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ik zal ook Mijn hand uitstrekken tegen Edom, en Ik zal mens en beest uit haar uitroeien; en zal haar tot een woestheid stellen van Theman af; en zij zullen tot Dedan toe door het zwaard vallen. 14En Ik zal Mijn wraak doen aan Edom, door de hand van Mijn volk Israel; en zij zullen tegen Edom naar Mijn toorn en naar Mijn grimmigheid handelen; alzo zullen zij Mijn wraak gewaar worden, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 15Alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Omdat de Filistijnen door wraak gehandeld hebben, en van harte wraak geoefend hebben door plundering, om te vernielen door een eeuwige vijandschap; 16Daarom, alzo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ziet, Ik strek Mijn hand uit tegen de Filistijnen, en zal de Cherethieten uitroeien, en het overblijfsel van de zeehaven verdoen. 17En Ik zal grote wraak met grimmige straffingen onder hen doen; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, als Ik Mijn wraak aan hen gedaan zal hebben.
