Ιεζεκιήλ 30

1Και έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ, λέγων, 2Υιέ ανθρώπου, προφήτευσον και ειπέ, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός. Ολολύζετε, Ουαί, διά την ημέραν. 3Διότι πλησίον είναι η ημέρα, ναι, η ημέρα του Κυρίου είναι πλησίον, ημέρα νεφώδης· ο καιρός των εθνών θέλει είσθαι. 4Και η μάχαιρα θέλει ελθεί, επί την Αίγυπτον και μέγας τρόμος θέλει είσθαι εν τη Αιθιοπία, όταν οι τετραυματισμένοι πέσωσιν εν Αιγύπτω, και θέλουσι λάβει το πλήθος αυτής και θέλουσι καταστρέψει τα θεμέλια αυτής. 5Αιθίοπες και Λίβυες και Λύδιοι και πάντες οι σύμμικτοι λαοί, και ο Χούβ και οι υιοί της συμμάχου γης, θέλουσι πέσει μετ' αυτών εν μαχαίρα. 6Ούτω λέγει Κύριος· Θέλουσι πέσει και οι υποστηρίζοντες την Αίγυπτον, και η υπερηφανία της δυνάμεως αυτής θέλει καταβληθή· από Μιγδώλ μέχρι Συήνης θέλουσι πέσει εν αυτή διά μαχαίρας, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός. 7Και θέλουσιν αφανισθή εν μέσω των ηφανισμένων τόπων, και αι πόλεις αυτής θέλουσιν είσθαι εν μέσω των ηρημωμένων πόλεων. 8Και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος, όταν βάλω πυρ εις την Αίγυπτον και συντριφθώσι πάντες οι βοηθούντες αυτήν. 9Εν εκείνη τη ημέρα θέλουσιν εξέλθει απ' εμού μηνυταί εν πλοίοις, διά να εκπλήξωσι τους αμερίμνους Αιθίοπας· και τρόμος μέγας θέλει επέλθει επ' αυτούς, καθώς εν τη ημέρα της Αιγύπτου· διότι, ιδού, έρχεται. 10Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Και θέλω απολέσει το πλήθος της Αιγύπτου διά χειρός του Ναβουχοδονόσορ βασιλέως της Βαβυλώνος. 11Αυτός και ο λαός αυτού μετ' αυτού, οι τρομερώτεροι των εθνών, θέλουσι φερθή διά να αφανίσωσι την γήν· και θέλουσιν εκσπάσει τας ρομφαίας αυτών κατά της Αιγύπτου και γεμίσει την γην από τετραυματισμένων. 12Και θέλω ξηράνει τους ποταμούς και παραδώσει την γην εις χείρας κακών, και θέλω αφανίσει την γην και το πλήρωμα αυτής διά χειρός των ξένων· εγώ ο Κύριος ελάλησα. 13Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Και θέλω καταστρέψει τα ξόανα και εξαλείψει τα είδωλα από Νωφ, και δεν θέλει υπάρχει πλέον άρχων εκ της γης της Αιγύπτου, και θέλω εμβάλει φόβον εις την γην της Αιγύπτου. 14Και θέλω αφανίσει την Παθρώς και βάλει πυρ εις την Τάνιν και εκτελέσει κρίσεις εν Νω. 15Και θέλω εκχέει τον θυμόν μου επί Σιν την ισχύν της Αιγύπτου, και θέλω εκκόψει το πλήθος της Νω. 16Και θέλω βάλει πυρ εις την Αίγυπτον· η Σιν θέλει λάβει μέγαν τρόμον και η Νω θέλει διασπαραχθή και η Νωφ θέλει είσθαι καθ' ημέραν εν αγωνία. 17Οι νεανίσκοι της Αβήν και της Πι-βεσέθ θέλουσι πέσει εν μαχαίρα, και αύται θέλουσιν υπάγει εις αιχμαλωσίαν. 18Και εν Τάφνης η ημέρα θέλει συσκοτάσει, όταν συντρίψω εκεί τα σκήπτρα της Αιγύπτου· και η έπαρσις της δυνάμεως αυτής θέλει παύσει εν αυτή· ταύτην δε, νέφος θέλει σκεπάσει αυτήν, και αι θυγατέρες αυτής θέλουσιν υπάγει εις αιχμαλωσίαν. 19Και θέλω εκτελέσει κρίσεις επί την Αίγυπτον· και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος. 20Και εν τω ενδεκάτω έτει, τω πρώτω μηνί, τη εβδόμη του μηνός, έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ λέγων, 21Υιέ ανθρώπου, συνέθλασα τον βραχίονα του Φαραώ βασιλέως της Αιγύπτου· και ιδού, δεν θέλει επιδεθή προς θεραπείαν, ώστε να περιτυλίξωσιν αυτόν με επιδέσματα διά να δοθή εις αυτόν δύναμις να κρατή μάχαιραν. 22Διά τούτο ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Ιδού, εγώ είμαι εναντίον του Φαραώ βασιλέως της Αιγύπτου και θέλω συνθλάσει τους βραχίονας αυτού, τον δυνατόν και τον συντεθλασμένον· και θέλω κάμει την μάχαιραν να εκπέση από της χειρός αυτού. 23Και θέλω διασπείρει τους Αιγυπτίους μεταξύ των εθνών και διασκορπίσει αυτούς εις τους τόπους. 24Και θέλω ενισχύσει τους βραχίονας του βασιλέως της Βαβυλώνος και θέλω δώσει την ρομφαίαν μου εις την χείρα αυτού, τους δε βραχίονας του Φαραώ θέλω συνθλάσει και θέλει στενάξει έμπροσθεν αυτού με στεναγμούς τετραυματισμένου. 25Τους βραχίονας όμως του βασιλέως της Βαβυλώνος θέλω ενισχύσει, οι δε βραχίονες του Φαραώ θέλουσι πέσει· και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος, όταν δώσω την ρομφαίαν μου εις την χείρα του βασιλέως της Βαβυλώνος· και θέλει εκτείνει αυτήν επί την γην της Αιγύπτου. 26Και θέλω διασπείρει τους Αιγυπτίους μεταξύ των εθνών και διασκορπίσει αυτούς εις τους τόπους· και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος.

1Yahweh’s word came again to me, saying, 2Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Wail, Alas for the day! 3For the day is near, even the day of Yahweh is near; it shall be a day of clouds, a time of the nations. 4A sword shall come on Egypt, and anguish shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt; and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down. 5Ethiopia, and Put, and Lud, and all the mixed people, and Cub, and the children of the land that is allied with them, shall fall with them by the sword. 6Thus says Yahweh: They also who uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Seveneh shall they fall in it by the sword, says the Lord Yahweh. 7They shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate; and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted. 8They shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and all her helpers are destroyed. 9In that day shall messengers go out from before me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid; and there shall be anguish on them, as in the day of Egypt; for, behold, it comes. 10Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease, by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. 11He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought in to destroy the land; and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain. 12I will make the rivers dry, and will sell the land into the hand of evil men; and I will make the land desolate, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I, Yahweh, have spoken it. 13Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause the images to cease from Memphis; and there shall be no more a prince from the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt. 14I will make Pathros desolate, and will set a fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments on No. 15I will pour my wrath on Sin, the stronghold of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No. 16I will set a fire in Egypt: Sin shall be in great anguish, and No shall be broken up; and Memphis shall have adversaries in the daytime. 17The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword; and they shall go into captivity. 18At Tehaphnehes also the day shall withdraw itself, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt, and the pride of her power shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity. 19Thus will I execute judgments on Egypt; and they shall know that I am Yahweh. 20In the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 21Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and behold, it has not been bound up, to apply medicines, to put a bandage to bind it, that it be strong to hold the sword. 22Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong arm, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand. 23I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. 24I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he shall groan before him with the groaning of a mortally wounded man. 25I will hold up the arms of the king of Babylon; and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out on the land of Egypt. 26I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them through the countries; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.

1Wijders geschiedde des HEEREN woord tot mij, zeggende: 2Mensenkind! profeteer, en zeg: Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Huilt: Ach die dag! 3Want de dag is nabij, ja, de dag des HEEREN is nabij, een wolkige dag, het zal der heidenen tijd zijn. 4En het zwaard zal komen in Egypte, en er zal grote smart zijn in Morenland, als de verslagenen zullen vallen in Egypte; want zij zullen derzelver menigte wegnemen, en haar fondamenten zullen verbroken worden. 5Morenland, en Put, en Lud, en al de gemengde hoop, en Cub, en de kinderen van het land des verbonds zullen met hen vallen door het zwaard. 6Zo zegt de HEERE: Ja, zij zullen vallen, die Egypte ondersteunen, en de hovaardij harer sterkte zal nederdalen; van den toren van Syene af zullen zij daarin door het zwaard vallen, spreekt de Heere HEERE. 7En zij zullen verwoest worden in het midden der verwoeste landen; en haar steden zullen zijn in het midden der verwoeste steden. 8En zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, als Ik een vuur in Egypte zal hebben gelegd, en al haar helpers zullen verbroken worden. 9Te dien dage zullen er boden van voor Mijn aangezicht in schepen uitvaren, om het zorgeloze Morenland te verschrikken; en er zal grote smart bij hen zijn, als in den dag van Egypte; want ziet, het komt aan! 10Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ja, Ik zal de menigte van Egypte doen ophouden, door de hand van Nebukadrezar, den koning van Babel. 11Hij, en zijn volk met hem, de tirannigste der heidenen zullen aangevoerd worden, om het land te verderven; en zij zullen hun zwaarden tegen Egypte uittrekken, en het land met verslagenen vervullen. 12En Ik zal de rivieren tot droogte maken, en het land verkopen in de hand der bozen; en Ik zal het land met zijn volheid verwoesten door de hand der vreemden: Ik, de HEERE, heb het gesproken. 13Zo zegt de Heere HEERE: Ik zal ook de drekgoden verdoen, en de nietige afgoden doen ophouden uit Nof; en er zal geen vorst meer zijn uit Egypteland; en Ik zal een vreze in Egypteland stellen. 14En Ik zal Pathros verwoesten, en een vuur leggen in Zoan; en Ik zal gerichten oefenen in No. 15En Ik zal Mijn grimmigheid uitgieten over Sin, de sterkte van Egypte; en Ik zal de menigte van No uitroeien. 16En Ik zal een vuur in Egypte leggen; Sin zal zeer grote pijn hebben, en No zal gespleten worden, en Nof zal dagelijks zeer bang zijn. 17De jongelingen van Aven en Pibeseth zullen door het zwaard vallen, en de dochters zullen gaan in de gevangenis. 18En te Tachpanhes zal de dag verduisterd worden, als Ik het juk van Egypte aldaar zal verbreken, en de hovaardij harer sterkte in haar zal ophouden; haar zal een wolk bedekken, en haar dochters zullen gaan in de gevangenis. 19Alzo zal Ik gerichten oefenen in Egypte; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben. 20Ook gebeurde het in het elfde jaar, in de eerste maand, op den zevenden der maand, dat het woord des HEEREN tot mij geschiedde, zeggende: 21Mensenkind! Ik heb den arm van Farao, den koning van Egypte, verbroken; en ziet, hij zal niet verbonden worden, met pleisters op te leggen, met een windeldoek aan te doen, om dien te verbinden, om dien te sterken, dat hij het zwaard houde. 22Daarom zegt de Heere HEERE alzo: Ziet, Ik wil aan Farao, den koning van Egypte, en zal zijn armen verbreken, beide den sterken en den verbrokenen; en Ik zal het zwaard uit zijn hand doen vallen. 23En Ik zal de Egyptenaars verstrooien onder de heidenen, en zal hen verspreiden in de landen. 24En Ik zal de armen des konings van Babel sterken, en Mijn zwaard in zijn hand geven; maar Farao's armen zal Ik verbreken, dat hij voor zijn aangezicht zal kermen, gelijk een dodelijk verwonde kermt. 25Ja, Ik zal de armen des konings van Babel sterken, maar Farao's armen zullen daarhenen vallen; en zij zullen weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben, als Ik Mijn zwaard in de hand des konings van Babel zal hebben gegeven, en hij datzelve over Egypteland zal hebben uitgestrekt. 26En Ik zal de Egyptenaars verstrooien onder de heidenen, en zal hen verspreiden in de landen; alzo zullen zij weten, dat Ik de HEERE ben.
